Chapter 129: My Body Needs Kael

When Kael parted my legs, his fingers finding their way between them and pushing deeper, I realized something.
I couldn’t deceive myself anymore.
The sensation was overwhelming, like an electric current coursing through my body. I couldn’t help but tremble uncontrollably, my breathing growing heavier by the second.
“Stop, Kael!” I managed to say, my voice trembling.
“Why? The potion needs to be applied there too,” he replied, ignoring my words and pushing even deeper. My body shivered uncontrollably.
“Seraphina, you’re so sensitive,” Kael said suddenly, his voice low and hoarse, tinged with a smirk.
That raspy voice felt like it was scratching along every nerve in my body. I thought I might lose my mind.
Thankfully, Kael soon withdrew his fingers and moved away. He continued applying the potion down the length of my legs.
I had no idea what he was doing anymore. My mind was a mess, tangled with a singular thought: I wanted Kael.
I wanted him to take me, to claim me completely.
But Kael had no such intention.
Instead, he flipped me over and continued applying the potion to my back.
I tried to resist, but Kael held me down. “Don’t move, Seraphina. This potion is very precious; we can’t waste it.”
“To be honest, I feel like I’m being tortured,” I gritted through my teeth.
It was unbearable. My skin tingled as if ants were crawling all over it, and I felt like I was on the verge of breaking apart.
When Kael finally finished, he brushed a hand against my cheek, his lips curling into a grin. “Seraphina, you look like you’re struggling more than me. Your face is completely red. Haha.”
I scoffed, glaring at him. “You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?”
“Yes, I am,” he admitted with a mischievous smile. “But it’s clear your body can’t resist me.”
With that, he leaned in and kissed me.
His kiss was dominant and consuming, leaving me momentarily dazed.
I could feel the force of his presence, the way his tongue invaded my mouth, exploring every corner.
Kael pulled me closer, holding me firmly in his arms as his hands roamed over my body.
His touch was intense, his grip on my breasts firm enough to draw a moan from my lips.
The next moment, he tossed me onto the bed and began kissing his way down my body.
I panicked, remembering the potion on my skin. “Stop! What if the potion stops working?”
Kael chuckled at my words. “You’re joking, right? The potion starts working the moment it’s applied. It’s not going to wear off.”
Was that true?
I glanced down at my body, unsure. There wasn’t a trace of the potion left.
How strange. If I hadn’t seen Kael applying it with my own eyes, I might have doubted its presence altogether.
“Seraphina, our potion is different from the kind humans use,” Kael explained, his voice soothing. “Once it’s applied, it absorbs instantly.”
He continued to kiss and caress me, each touch sending waves of pleasure through my body.
Before long, all rational thought escaped me. Every sensation converged into a singular focus, centered on the deep ache within me.
I wanted more-needed more.
Kael’s low chuckle brought me back to the present.
He seemed pleased, amused by the state I was in.
Then he released me.
For a moment, I felt a hollow emptiness, but Kael didn’t leave for long.
He removed his pants, and the next thing I knew, he was inside me.
I whimpered, feeling his immense size fill me completely.
Kael moved with force, his heat consuming me like fire, threatening to melt me entirely.
I clung to him tightly, and he held me just as fiercely.
“Seraphina, I’ll make up for what we missed last time,” he whispered in my ear, his breath warm against my skin.
I thought back to the night he told me to wait for him at his apartment.
I’d waited all night, but Kael never showed up.
Vivienne had appeared instead, taunting me. Even though I knew Kael didn’t care for her, her presence had infuriated me.
I’d sworn not to let Kael touch me again.
And yet, here I was, surrendering to him completely.
Kael had taken control the moment he touched me, and I’d willingly let him.
This night seemed endless.
Kael explored every inch of me, leaving marks of passion in every corner of the room.
Each climax left me more exhausted than the last, until finally, I drifted into a deep, dreamless sleep.
Kael held me close, pressing a kiss to my hair. “Sleep, Seraphina.”
And I did.
It had been so long since I’d slept that soundly.
When I woke up, Kael was gone.
If not for the marks on my body, I might have thought it had all been a dream.
Damn it. I rubbed my temples, frustrated with myself.
I’d let my emotions get the better of me again.
I’d told myself to stay away from Kael, but the moment we were together, I forgot everything else.
Now, regret consumed me, though I knew that if Kael came for me again, I’d probably give in just as easily.
I was a hopeless case.
After getting dressed, I tried to distract myself.
The past few days had been quiet. There hadn’t been any reports of beasts attacking people in the town.
Maybe Kael’s potion was working after all.
The weekend arrived, bringing a rare day off from classes and work.
Even the Eagle Club was closed for the day.
But tonight was important.
Kael was going to fight Briar.
Kael had been under immense pressure lately.
Every time I saw him train at the club, it was clear he was pushing himself harder than ever.
Sometimes, he fought against multiple opponents at once, leaving him visibly exhausted after each session.
I believed in Kael, but Briar was a formidable opponent.
Like Kael, Briar had an impressive record. Since his debut at the club, he’d only ever lost to Kael.
And lately, Briar’s progress had been astonishing.
Opponents who once took him several rounds to defeat were now being knocked out in just three or four.
Could Kael really win this time?
