VALERIE.
I could not help the anger I felt at just the thought of that bitch.
I didn’t know why, but she honestly just made me feel angry. She got on my nerves, and it annoyed me. The fact that somebody like her could get a reaction out of me, I didn’t like it.
I watched her from where I was sitting down in the cafeteria.
She was talking happily with her new friend, the new transfer student. I didn’t want to see her with anyone.
Everyone knew not to mess with me, so they didn’t talk to her. Even though I’ve been seeing some students speak to her ever since her body glowed up, I couldn’t deny that it ticked me off.
I couldn’t control what these students did, but the fact that they were getting out of my control scared me. I won’t admit this to anybody but myself, of course. It scared me that she might actually be taking the power I had back then, which is why I was going to make her life a living hell to regain what power that is rightfully mine!
It could be through making the new student’s life sufferable in the nastiest and horrendous way possible but I don’t give a damn.
I watched both of them chatting happily, and I wanted to make them cry so badly, I wanted to hurt them both verbally and physically but I didn’t have a reason to do so again.
Being fat was frowned upon by the society that we grew up in, especially when you’re in the glam club which Amelia’s parents were clearly in. But I still don’t understand what made them feel like she wouldn’t be bullied if she was fat.
I snorted, “Such ridiculous parents. Feeding their daughter with excessive fats that she can’t work on herself without doing a fat removal surgery over night so she could look good without sweating for it. Lazy assholes.”
“Everyone can see that you’re staring daggers at poor Amelia, V.” Hazel, one of my friends, said, and I rolled my eyes.
“Poor? You call that ugly bitch ‘poor’ after you saw how she insulted Val in front of everyone. she fucking had the guts to stand up to her just because of some little fun Val wanted catch with her. Don’t fucking say that she’s poor. Amelia isn’t pitiful like she used to. Have you seen her body? It’s hot.” Zenya supported me without stutter. One of the reasons why I love her more.
“If you keep bullying her like that then she might actually be pitiful…”
“Shut up, Hazel,” I commanded, and she just shrugged.
“You know I’m being serious. You can see it, too.” Hazel muttered, nonchalantly munching on her chips.
“Yeah, we can. You could have just shut up about it, you know.” Zanya grumbled out of irritation, trying to tell her without telling her that she was annoying me, but Hazel, as usual, didn’t get the memo.
“Why would I shut up? I’m just being honest. Right, Val?” She asked me, and I rolled my eyes at her; when she saw that I didn’t give her a definite answer, she shut her trash up and focused on her food.
“I just don’t like her,” I muttered.
Zanya let out a short laugh. “Yeah, we all know that. I don’t like her either. She’s so full of herself which makes me hate her more than ever. Anyone who is an enemy to Val is also an enemy to me in every form.” She gritted, her long nails digging into her palm as her vicious gaze narrowed on Amelia and her new found friend.
“Is there a way that we can get the new transfer student alone? I want to show her what Amelia looked like before she became so disrespectful and arrogant. If she would still want to be friends with her. I’m sure she’s only friends with her because of how she looks.” I found myself balling my fist before I knew it and Zenya frowned a bit.
“I’m not sure; I’ve not exactly been known to talk with new people who very much look lower than my class. I wouldn’t want to be contaminated with some diseases from them. You could send Hazel since she’s been so supportive to that filth.” Zenya smirked darkly and Hazel’s face turned beet red.
She grinded hard on her jaw as she glared daggers at Zenya who relished on her furious baby face as she casually chewed on the bubble gum in her mouth.
I sighed, getting slowly frustrated. “Yes, I could. But then, she could open her big mouth and spill out our plans coincidentally. I can’t trust her now that she’s been supporting that bitch. I guess she’s also getting influenced because of Amelia’s new look.” i snickered as I told Zenya. She nodded in agreement.
We both looked at Hazel. She still looked furious by the way she was staring at the both of us without saying a word. I know she wouldn’t dare speak up her mind if she doesn’t want to be thrown out of my group…
“Do you have anything to say to me? Huh? Anything at all?” I taunted, arching a challenging eyebrow at her and she slowly averted her gaze in defeat. “Good for you.” I smirked with scoff coming up next. “Only God knows why I’m still friends with her,” I muttered under my breath but it was loud enough for her to hear…
“Isn’t it obvious?” Hazel suddenly looked up and asked us, but we both looked at her in a way that told her we didn’t understand what she meant and was also surprised by the unexpected change in her mood.
“We are friends because you love me.” She said with a grin and went back to munching on her chips.
I and Zenya started at her in shock for seconds, but then It hit me that definitely she had no choice but to quit being an angry bird if she doesn’t want to be kicked out of my group as a cheerleader and one of the most feared girls in highschool. That’s the reason why she had to kick that nonsense attitude out of the window..
“So, the plan is to get her alone?” Zenya asked.
“Yes. That’s the plan.”
“Okay then, why don’t we try talking to Dylan about it?” Zenya suggested, and I shook my head.
“That could be an option, but Dylan has been ignoring me for the last few days. I don’t know why; maybe it’s because of what happened with Amelia not too long ago.” I told her, a distant emotion whirling within me.
“Does that mean you’ve given up?” Zenya inquired.
“Give up? You know I’m not a fan of that. I’m just giving him some time off; I’m still trying to figure out how Amelia had such perfect body in a few days.” I said suspiciously and she nodded.
“Have you considered the fact that maybe she did liposuction?” Hazel asked and I doubted it immediately.
“She won’t even be able to walk yet if she did that. So please, shut up, Hazel.” Zenya replied to her.
“Should we just go and embarrass Amelia in front of her friend right now?” I asked the both of them.
“Won’t that cause another ruckus? You remember how she embarrassed you the last time.” Hazel pointed out, and from the side view of my eyes, I saw Zenya jab her in the waist.
“Ouch, that hurts.” She said, squeezing her face and arching in pain.
“That’s what you get for not knowing how to keep quiet,” Zenya scolded and she pouted.
“But at least I’m not like you, who keep everything bottled up inside until it explodes. I’m only saying the truth since the two of you won’t say it to each other. The last time you had an altercation with Amelia, you got embarrassed in the presence of everyone. Are you thinking of doing it again? Is that not going to be worse?” Hazel asked and now I was beginning to lose it.
“Why do you keep saying it as if I was the only one that she embarrassed? She also embarrassed you, you know.” I pointed out.
“Well, at least that’s what I’m trying to avoid this time around. So I don’t get embarrassed. Unlike the both of you…” Hazel muttered the last words and I whipped my head around to look at her.
As if there weren’t enough reasons to hate Amelia, my friends were even scared to confront her because of the way she looked. Plus they were now talking back at me!
“You’ve forgotten that you don’t talk back at me, haven’t you?” I asked in a deadly tone that I knew would set her in order. She was about to say something again, but this time around, Zenya quickly spoke.
“It’s not that deep, Val. Let her go. Just forget it, okay? Do whatever you want to do but don’t listen to her. She would get back to her senses soon enough,” Zenya coaxed with a smile on her face but I refused to be calm about anything.
“Be warned Hazel,” I muttered, my tone serious and threatening as I glared at her. Slowly, I looked at Amelia and her new friend again. I had a sinister smirk creeping on my face.
“Well, what I want to do is humiliate the ugly bitch who thinks she has everything and everyone wrapped around her fingers just because she looks pretty.” I said and stood up swiftly with accurate poise.
I could feel the two of them stand up, too, and I started making my way to Amelia’s table.
