“You’re insane! If you have a first-time complex, don’t come to me!”
Seeing that she seemed angry, Johnny quickly explained, “No, no, that’s not what I mean! What right do I have to have any complex? I… I’m just jealous that they had you before me! Tilda, sometimes I can’t even bear to imagine that scene.”
“I wish I had met you earlier. That would have been perfect. Then I would only have you, and you would only have me.”
Tilda snorted, “Would you have given up all those ex-girlfriends of yours with great figures, big chests, nice butts, sweet faces, and mature charm?”
The words “ex-girlfriend” were Johnny’s second weak spot after Sirena.
“Can we not talk about this anymore?”
“You were the one who brought up the ex-boyfriend stuff first.”
“I was wrong.” Johnny grinned. “Let me carry you to the shower.”
Tilda pushed him away. “I’ll go myself.”
“Still so energetic? Then…”
“Get lost!”

The standoff lasted for two days, and Caesar couldn’t sit still any longer.
The one-month agreement with Rosalind was almost up, and his grandchildren needed to have their surname changed before entering the Walters family. Otherwise, how embarrassing would that be?
He contacted Ulric, but he didn’t answer his phone, so he had to send a message.
“Have someone come to take Sirena away. Don’t tell your mother about this!”
Caesar didn’t consult with his wife, thinking it would just cause trouble. It would be better to act first and tell her later since Sirena was in his hands now.
If his son really killed her, his wife would just throw a tantrum, but nothing more would come of it.
Ulric saw the message and immediately had Cedric arrange people.
Didn’t Rosalind want evidence?
She wanted to follow legal procedures to let Sirena receive due punishment, right?
He understood and could do this for her.
“Tilda says Johnny is now officially recognized as the Wales family’s son-in-law.”
Rosalind was holding her phone, her face beaming with smiles when she returned.
“So the wedding date is approaching?”
“Maybe.” Rosalind nodded. She was genuinely happy for Tilda, seeing her friend settle down with the super handsome guy she liked. “She said they’ll get engaged first, then married, because her parents aren’t ready to part with their daughter so quickly.”
Ulric reached out and stroked her hair. “By the time they get engaged, I should be able to leave Sweden.”
He couldn’t miss Johnny’s engagement party.
Rosalind froze, looking up at him.
Counting the days… there weren’t many left. Unless Tilda got engaged in the next few days…
Noticing her expression change, Ulric, unlike his usual self, didn’t panic but just smiled.
“Rosalind, just do what you need to do. You pursue your justice, and I’ll take care of the aftermath for you.”
She fell silent.
“Oh, come on. Don’t furrow your brows. I like how you were smiling just now.” Ulric thought she was worried about the evidence, afraid that his mother would protect Sirena again and hinder her from finding evidence.
“Ulric…”
“I will give you everything you want.”
He wound her hair around his finger, again and again, his movement intimate and ambiguous.
Rosalind asked in a low voice, “Did you… investigate my mother’s case?”
“Yes, I got the death certificate. It states that your mother died from a sudden heart attack.”
“Someone must have said something to her, something that triggered her and caused the heart attack!”
Ulric gripped her suddenly cold hands, warming them. “Rosalind, do you trust me?”
