Rosalind was speechless.
What did he mean by giving her five days of rest? Was this something that needed to be made up for?
But before she could voice her protest, he had already made his move.
He began doing it impatiently.
At first, he was considerate of her discomfort with his size, his movements gentle and measured. Later, he gradually lost control, his large hands pressing against her waist. Rosalind winced in pain and tried to curl away, only to be mercilessly pulled back beneath him.
Already drowsy, Rosalind was turned over repeatedly by his demands, again and again, until she was both angry and exhausted. She could only bite down hard on his collarbone in frustration.
Feeling the pain, he seemed even more thrilled, like he’d taken a stimulant!
After a night of intimacy, Rosalind spent most of the next day in bed, only woken by Tilda’s phone call in the evening.
“Hello…”
Rosalind’s voice was noticeably hoarse.
Tilda paused for nearly half a minute before exclaiming, “Ulric is too much! Are you sure he’s a patient with wounds?”
“Rosalind, you need to learn to stop him! At this rate, you’ll be completely drained by the time you return.”
Rosalind felt her head throbbing and frowned.
“When you try to stop Johnny, does he listen?”
“Well, he doesn’t either.”
Rosalind took a deep breath and looked around the hospital room. Ulric was nowhere to be seen. “Did you call for something specific?”
“Yes! Johnny keeps bringing up marriage, and his parents have asked me many times too. They’re so sincere… I’m actually tempted to agree.”
Tilda knew that getting married so quickly was risky, but it was hard to resist when the other party showed such genuine sincerity.
It made her reluctant to refuse anymore.
“You want to marry Johnny?”
Tilda sighed, “I’ve been struggling with this for days and couldn’t find an answer, so I came to you for advice! Johnny has many flaws and isn’t my ideal marriage candidate, but he’s also special. I can feel that he truly cares about me.”
When Johnny said he wouldn’t go out for fun, he really stayed home!
Every day after returning from W Group, he would stay at home with her, watching movies or playing video games.
She had noticed many times that Johnny’s friends invited him out for a drink, but he always refused, directly saying he needed to accompany his woman, without any hesitation in his tone.
These things really touched Tilda.
“How he treats you is secondary. What matters is how you feel inside. Do you want to spend a lifetime with him?”
“Hmm… if he doesn’t change his heart, I do.”
Tilda didn’t need to lie to Rosalind. She could say whatever she thought in front of Rosalind.
She also understood Tilda’s struggle and insecurity, worried that Johnny was just temporarily excited and would change over time.
“Tilda, then you should agree! Marriage isn’t just about a marriage certificate-life is long, and no one can predict the future. If you both like each other and want to settle down, then get married. What’s wrong with being a little reckless once? The worst outcome is divorce, but at least you had tried. You won’t regret it! But if you refuse now and your relationship suffers because of it, many years later… you might wish you had accepted him back then.”
