Mountain Ape raised its left arm, and the Thunder Hammer struck the shield on its left hand with a loud metallic crash that reverberated across the platform. After blocking Landon’s powerful strike, Mountain Ape’s body shook, and its right arm glowed with earthy yellow light as it punched towards Landon. Using the recoil from his hammer strike, Landon retreated swiftly, dodging Mountain Ape’s punch. But before he could catch his breath, a sense of danger surged within him.
A swift black shadow suddenly appeared and clawed at Landon’s back fiercely. Lightning erupted around Landon, forming a protective shield. The shield shattered under the claw’s impact. Taking advantage of the opening, Landon swung his Thunder Hammer behind him with a deep shout. The agile shadow easily dodged and disappeared again.
“So fast!” Leo was startled by Assassin Cat’s sudden appearance and disappearance. Such speed made it nearly impossible to defend against.
Just as Landon dodged Assassin Cat’s attack, Mountain Ape stepped forward again, its body glowing with earthy yellow light. Above its right hand, the light condensed into a small mountain that it hurled towards Landon. Seeing this, Landon’s eyes flashed with determination as he swung his Thunder Hammer to meet the small mountain.
At that moment, Four-Winged Purple Demon Wolf let out a howl as it flew into the air with its purple wings flapping. Mia appeared on its back in a flash, her sharp eyes looking down as she reached into her Storage Sack. A pure black spear appeared in her hand and was thrown towards Landon.
The spear pierced through the air, leaving a dark trail as it shot towards Landon below. After breaking through the small mountain, Landon dodged the spear’s attack with lightning speed. The spear grazed past him and embedded itself deeply into the platform like it was tofu.
Immediately after, Four-Winged Purple Demon Wolf unleashed its power, forming purple fireballs in front of it. Dozens of purple fireballs shot down towards Landon like meteors. Landon’s eyes narrowed as he dodged each fireball with his lightning-fast movements. The fireballs left charred craters on the ground where they landed.
As Landon dodged, Mountain Ape attacked him with its shield in hand. Assassin Cat’s figure flickered in and out of sight, each appearance sending chills down Landon’s spine. In the sky, Mia continuously threw hunting spears from her Storage Sack at Landon while Four-Winged Purple Demon Wolf kept up its fireball assault.
Under such intense siege, the spectators couldn’t help but feel apprehensive. This was a real four-against-one battle: Mountain Ape for main attack and defense; Assassin Cat for ambushes; Mia and Four-Winged Purple Demon Wolf for long-range aerial strikes.
