Lucy stood in front of the Castle’s main building, the compound was empty.
It was Sunday and the servants had been given a holiday. Logan’s Chambers was behind the main building, so Lucy knew for sure that he would not be able to overhear her discussion with Crystal.
As Lucy was waiting, she felt someone tap her on the shoulders and she turned around in shock. She was taken by surprise and she feared it was Logan.
When she turned around, she saw Simon looking at her with a smirk on his face and she sighed. She wondered what she had to do in order to get rid of this fool.
“So what is the future Luna up to now? You look like you are scheming something as usual, you are about to do something silly,” Simon said.
“And how is that your business? Just leave me alone Simon,” she replied and turned back to face the gate.
“It seems like you are expecting someone, tell me who it is,” Simon said and came to stand beside her.
Lucy sighed. She knew that he was not going to give up so easily.
“It’s Crystal, I invited her over,” Lucy answered.
Simon was surprised to hear that, he was aware of what happened between the two ladies the previous day, so how could Crystal accept Lucy’s invitation today?
“You are kidding right? I mean, how could you possibly convince her to come here after you almost killed her yesterday? Have you started practicing sorcery?”
Lucy laughed at his words. ‘Sorcery? Is that even a thing,’ she said in thoughts.
“Convincing her was easy, I just had to put on a little drama, chop some onions and fake some tears, that was it.” Lucy smiled
“You mean you just cried over the phone and she decides to accept your invitation? She decided to let go of what happened yesterday? You can’t be serious, Crystal is not a fool.” Simon argued.
“Yes she is, you can believe it or leave it. I just had to pretend to be sorry and plead for forgiveness. The foolish Crystal, she might have become a werewolf now but she still thinks like a human, she thinks everyone is nice and can change their bad ways in minutes.
She thinks that everyone has a bright side, that they are innocent like her but she is wrong. I fooled her one more time and with my current game plan, she would fall into my trap and Logan would be mine forever.” Lucy smirked.
Simon hummed and walked around her with scrutinizing eyes. “So what is your game plan? I don’t see a weapon with which you intend to kill her, how do you plan to get rid of her this time?” He queried.
Lucy chuckled. “My dear Simon, you are such a fool. Do you think I would make the mistake of trying to kill her a second time? Well no, I am not a fool like you, I have other plans.” Lucy smiled.
“Now if you are done calling me names, please tell me what this your awesome plan is,” Simon grumbled, with a bit of sarcasm in his tone.
“If you must know, I want to make Crystal leave Logan,” she replied.
“I already know that, but how are you going to do it?”
“Jealousy! That is the key to my goal, I will make her get jealous and then in turn angry with Logan, she would leave him herself and she would never come back.” Lucy smirked
“It’s not going to be that easy, how do you plan to do that?”
Lucy sighed again and shook her head. It didn’t look like he was going to stop bothering her anytime soon.
She was about to answer his last question, but a knock on the door jolted her attention back to the gate.
She sniffed in immediately and recognised that scent, it was Crystal Lennox, she had arrived.
“Go, go, go! I will fill you in on the details later,” she said to Simon, gently pushing him away.
He hesitated for a while, then he gave up and left.
Lucy rushed to the gate immediately. The gateman was also given a one day holiday, so it was left for her to open the gate.
She opened the gate and met Crystal there, she was in a beautiful pink gown that emphasized her curves and that made Lucy jealous.
“Hey, please come in.” She smiled.
Crystal nodded and smiled back, she still had that purple color reflecting in her eyes. She walked in gracefully and Lucy locked the gate.
Crystal did not feel too comfortable coming here, but she’s decided to give Lucy the benefit of the doubt. If anything was to go wrong anyway, her wolf Eva had assured her that she would protect them, as long as Crystal gives her the green light to proceed.
Lucy and Crystal walked to the front of the main building, where Lucy had already set two chairs for them.
“Please sit down,” she spoke politely to Crystal.
She sat, only after Crystal was seated.
“Is Logan around?” Crystal asked softly.
Lucy grumbled in her mind but she tried not to show how displeased she was.
“Yes and like I told you, he’s asleep, so don’t worry about him.”
“Alright, so what did you want to speak to me about?” Crystal asked.
“Oh Crystal, you see…” She paused and moved her chair closer to Crystal’s, then she held her hands.
“First of all, I want to apologize again for what happened yesterday,” Lucy said.
“Don’t worry Lucy, I thought we discussed this yesterday, I have already forgiven you.”
“No please don’t stop me Crystal, I won’t feel alright if I don’t say this to your face, so please don’t interrupt me,” she pleaded with an appealing face and Crystal nodded.
“As I was saying, I am really sorry for what I had done yesterday. I don’t know what got over me and made me act that way, but I promise you Crystal, I am sincerely sorry and it won’t happen again.
Look, I would have left Logan but I already have a marriage contract with him, so that is impossible. I understand that the both of you are in love and no one really decides who to fall in love with or trust me, Logan would have never fallen in love with you.
I am not saying that there is something wrong with you, I’m just trying to explain that Logan is not the kind of guy that cheats on his partner. For him to do that, it means he had no control over his feelings, he did not choose to love you, he had no other choice than to love you.
All I am trying to say is that, I cannot leave Logan due to the contract that binds us together, but you still can. I don’t want your life to be ruined by being the other woman in his life, people would mock you and taunt you, they will insult you Crystal.
Please don’t think I am saying this because I want to kick you out of Logan’s life, I am only hoping that for the sake of your dignity, you would leave him voluntarily, but it’s all up to you, even if you decide not to leave him, I still want to be friends with you,” Lucy spoke at length.
Crystal was silent, she understood the point that Lucy was making but she knew she was not the other woman in Logan’s life.
Because she was his soulmate and the goddess had chosen them for each other, if anyone was to be called the other woman, it was Lucy!
