“Sage.”The command in his voice made her stop, slowly she met his piercing gaze.”I told you I-…”
“I know Bruno.”She quickly interrupted.”But I’ll be fine. Shall we head out.”
“Come here.”He softly ordered.
“W-why?”She nervously asked and licked her lips.
“I thought you trusted me.”He stood, her heart rate climbed.
“I do.”She said, it’s me I don’t trust.
“Then come here.”He held out his hand to her, Sage looked down at his stretched out hand, nervously she placed her hand in his, that big hand closed over hers heat shot up her arm and spread out her entire body. He pulled her towards him she went.”Can I not hold you.”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.”She made sure not to touch him.
He smiled, her knees weakened she was forced to hold onto him or risk falling. “I like you in my arms. In fact I like you naked, on top of me although I love being on top of you more. Driving you wild with need.”
His words made her dizzy, her skin burned for him, fire coursed through her lightening her up, she could feel her nipples tightening and pressing her bra waiting eagerly for his luscious mouth, her core throbbed and ached it needed him, needed his hard length to fill her.”Bruno. Stop saying such things.”Her voice a breathy whisper, his words has turned her own.
“Why?”She felt his lips on her throat, kissing lightly a shiver rushed through her she tighten her hold on him.”Your scent is stuck in my nose. I can smell you for hours on end even though you are not near.”His lips lightly brushed hers.
He kissed her but didn’t deepen the kiss, his lips teased. Sage bit back the moan that threaten to slip past her throat when his mouth left hers. “Getting to smell your scent in my office every morning gives me the strength to face the day ahead.”
“Bruno..”She breathed, his lips moved across every inch of her face leaving sweet kisses behind.
“Let me take you out to dinner tonight.”He husked.
Still under the spell of his kisses she murmured. “Yes..”
His mouth claimed hers in a tender kiss before he pulled away, dazed and breathless she heard him say.”I’ll pick you up at seven.”
“Huh?”She asked puzzled.”What are you talking about. Pick me up for what?”
“Dinner.”He said with a smile.
“I didn’t agree to have dinner with you.”
His smile broaden.”Should I help you remember.”
“No!”She said, and moved away.”I can’t have dinner with you tonight, I’m working.”
“After work then and don’t forget you already said yes. Unless if you not a woman of her word.”
“And how gentlemanly of you to call me a liar.”
“I’d never do that. Cause I know you aren’t one.”
Sage stared at him.”Did one of your many female companions stood you up is that why you asking me out.”
“No I just want to have dinner with you.”
“I hope I’m not gonna regret this, the last time I agreed to go out with you your girlfriend was there and humiliated me in front of your family.”
“Something I regret and also took care of. Lana won’t bother you I promise.”
“I wish I could’ve taken care of her myself.”He smiled at that.”Fine, I’ll call you when my shift ends.”
“Until tonight then.”He came over to give her one last kiss, a kiss that carried so much promise of what lay ahead for the night.
“I thought you came to see the boys.”She reminded him.
He stopped and turned at her bedroom door.”I did. And I will.”Just like that he was gone Sage heard her apartment door open and close. What are you up to Bruno Romero she asked herself when he was gone. She went about her daily business for the day, trying so hard to keep her excitement at bay for her dinner with Bruno, she was nervous and excited she cannot wait to see him again and their kiss before he had left is still stuck on her mind.
She can still taste him, feel his lips on her own, his hands on her heated flesh ooh but that man knows how to ignite her hidden desires, evoke her passion, make this fire she has inside of her burn uncontrollably. The night went fairly well Sage regrets that soon she won’t be able to work here anymore she had just gotten used to being in Bruno’s space to smell him in here as if he was with her, she sat down on his chair and ran her fingers over his desk, she’ll miss this, miss him. Miss everything about this place. She sighed deeply and stood she better finish her work if she’ll want to go home early after her dinner with Bruno on her way out she saw a neatly wrapped box on his table she made her way over there a note was on top of it.
“I want you to wear this tonight. Get ready at the office Jorge will wait for you outside. Leave your hair loose… Bruno.”How nice of him to ask Sage thought he’s always ordering everyone about, she opened the box and saw a red dress inside, taking it out she noticed it’s floor length, the back is bare with a split on the side a v-neckline at the front, a pair of heels was also there including new lingerie the black and red lace bra was beautiful along with the panty, something she herself would’ve chosen Bruno has taste, she wonders for how many women he has done this bought clothes and underwear. Clearly he has been around the world seen alot of things she put everything back, no use to torture herself with thoughts of him doing this for other women she has to finish her work.
Bruno was waiting for Sage on his boat, Jorge has told him they are on their way. Tonight he wants to be alone with her, where there won’t be any prying eyes or anyone to interrupt them that’s why he has set up this dinner on his boat no one will bother them, tonight he wants to forget the outside world exist he wants to lose himself in her chocolate brown eyes, drown in her soft skin and scent. He wants her and tonight they’ll both get what they want. Each other.
He has a surprise for her, Sage doesn’t know the boys are at his home after their dinner they’ll go straight there. He has asked Jesse not to tell her anything he had spend his whole day with his sons at his home, it will be their home soon once he and Sage gets married, he’s already bought everything that they need Margarita his housekeeper has helped him in getting the stuff ready for the boys. He has taken their menu off Sage’s refrigerator and asked Margarita to prepare their dinner, it had been a fun day with the boys he didn’t even miss going into the office him that is so used to being on his laptop or cell.
Margarita also adores the boys she’s happy that she cooked for someone other than him, she told him she cannot wait for him to get married and have a family of his own something she has longed for him to have over the years. Margarita is like a mother to him and he treats her like family she’s been with him and Hugo since their child years after their mother got sick Margarita had been there to take care of them he trust and respects her more than anyone, she knows him better than he does himself.
And he knows once he introduces Sage to her she’ll love her immediately, Sage will be the first woman he has taken to his home. He knows she was here, he can feel her as well as smell her, this is one woman that is one with his blood. His body. He can sense her presence without having to see her. He turned to face her she looked beautiful in the dress he’d bought, she’s let her hair loose like he asked, he smiled and walked over to her.
Does he have to be so sexy every time he smiles Sage asked herself.”Beautiful boat.”She said, he came over to kiss her lightly on both cheeks.
“You are beautiful.”He told her, she flushed at his words.”I love your innocence Sage. No man but me should see it.”
“So this is where we’ll be dining. On your boat. Nice.”She’ll enjoy the open water
“We won’t get bothered here.”He said.”Anything to drink.”
“Yes please.”Someone came and brought her a glass of wine.
