“Why?”She wanted to know.”You are engaged to a beautiful woman. What do you want from me, I’m a nobody as you can see. Why on earth would a man like you who’s so sinfully handsome and sexy go out with me. There’s plenty of woman out there who would love to be taken out by you.”
“Just not you.”He said.
“Yes.”She stated firmly.
“Firstly I’m not engaged and secondly I don’t want any other woman except for you.”
“No!”Sage softly muttered.”You don’t.”
He grinned.”I think I’m old enough to know what I want. How old are you?”
She gaped at him.”How rude of you to ask such a question.”
“I know but enlighten me if you want.”
“Twenty-two.”He held her gaze.”I know my height makes me look younger than I actually am some people make that mistake.”
“You do look young.”He admitted.”But we both know you’re actually a very passionate woman.”
Sage turned crimson and looked anywhere except at him.”Mr Romero it’s time to go. I have work tomorrow.”She walked over to the door and held it open.”So please if you don’t mind.”
He groaned.”Will you stop with the Mr Romero business it’s driving me crazy.”
“It’s your name.”She wonder if he got the cross, should she ask.
“Call me by my name Bruno.”He came over to her, all the hairs on her skin stood up at his closeness.”Say it.”He urged.
Sage kept her tone steady.”Bruno.”
“That wasn’t so hard. Was it.”He took a step closer to her, Sage forced herself not to move. His hand came up and went behind her back, she could feel her heart rate climb rapidly, light fingers undid her hair taking out the pins, her hair cascaded down her shoulders.”Much better.”He whispered.”Such beautiful hair shouldn’t be tied up.”
She swallowed hard before trusting herself enough to speak.”Good night Bruno.”
“I’m still waiting for your answer.”He said, his hand covered her own on the door handle an electric charge shot up her arm and down her spine. Sage met his gaze it told her he had felt it too immediately the air around them thickened, his masculine sandalwood scent filled her lungs. Breathing became too difficult Sage ended up taking a step back, but he pulled her back straight into his arms, dark grey eyes searched her own she was spellbound by his penetrating gaze. Her scent drove him insane, jasmine with a touch of vanilla it flared up his nostrils lighting him up, he can hear how fast his blood was pumping in his ears, her soft body drives him wild he can feel himself growing hard by only holding her in his arms, and the stiffening of her body tells him she can feel it too.

She heard him groan deeply as he easily lifted her with one arm their mouths not breaking contact once, she gave her hands free reign to go into his hair while his hands went under her shirt seeking out her breasts she gasped when he twirled her nipples with his thumbs, her legs tighten around his waist as shots of tingles settle low in her core increasing that throb between her thighs. “Yes.”Sage softly agreed. After he was gone she went to bed thankfully the boys are still fast asleep she shut her eyes but the only thing she sees is them
kissing here comes another long night.
Bruno gazed out his bedroom window, he only comes to his villa when he needs to think and find clarity not that he found it. Midnight has struck and he cannot sleep Sage is all he thinks about, all his body needs yet again he had almost come close to taking her without using any protection. What is it about the woman that makes him lose control, makes him lose focus. Why does he think of nothing except her. What is this uncontrollable lust he has for her, he can’t even control himself when he’s close to her never before has he needed a woman as he does her. Why her he keeps on asking himself, what is it about her? At least she finally agreed to have dinner with him, he looked at the cross. For some strange reason he wants her to have it, he’s had the necklace since ten years old when his mother had given it to him before she had passed, from then he’d never taken it off until he had met Sage and that’s when he’d lost it. All this time he had believed it was gone but she’s had it this whole time, why hadn’t she given it back. Could there be a reason why their paths crossed again. Is there a reason why she had his necklace and never did give it back….
Sage still cannot believe she actually agreed to go out with him, now here she was going into boutique after boutique to find a suitable dress for this Saturday and the boys are helping her. Who better than her two musketeers. So far she hasn’t seen anything she likes or that speaks to her and the boys will need their bottles soon Liam has already began to fuss after checking out two more boutiques Sage finally gave up hope. Look what one moment of weakness has made her got herself in to, now she cannot even find a dress and she’s certain they’ll be going to some expensive restaurant maybe Kim will help. No then she’ll have to give her an explanation and she wasn’t ready for that there’s only one thing left to do and that’s cancel she’ll call Bruno tonight. She hasn’t heard from him since their kiss in her apartment four days ago a small part of her was eager to see him again and that’s the first red flag. At home she fed the boys then played with them on the floor for a while the three of them had so much fun that Sage hardly notice time pass by. Kim stopped by to see how they were doing, the two of them sat in the living room Kim took Logan and played with him.”How are they adapting to life in Miami.”She asked stroking Logan hair.
“Okay.”Liam wanted to play on the floor she set him down, she notice Logan breathing slightly heavily while he was sucking his teether. His breathing has been a bit out of sorts these days especially when he’s feeding or eating and it just began recently Liam on the hand was fine, she should have him checked out at his next doctor’s appointment to make sure it wasn’t anything serious she hopes nothing is wrong she doesn’t think she’ll be able to handle hearing anything bad.”They certainly don’t miss Tampa.”
“Do you.”Kim asked.
“Sometimes I do.”Sage admitted.”But I miss Sean more.”
“If you need time off to visit him all you have to do is ask.”
“I know.”Sage notice she was wearing her ring.”How are you doing? And how is things between you and Luca.”
“We in a good space.”She lifted her left hand.”We’re getting married.”
“Kim!”Sage beamed.”I’m happy for you, I’ve seen how Luca looks at you, he’ll make you happy Kim and love you unconditionally.”She embraced Kim in a tight hug.”Congrats. You and Gina both are getting married such great news. I truly am happy for the two of you at least you found love and I want
to be maid of honor at both your weddings.”Kim laughed.
“Tell Casey that.”
