Chapter 87

Book:Her Ruthless Daddy Published:2025-3-13

BONNIE
It had been a day since Daddy had come over. He hadn’t come back after checking on her when she passed out on the kitchen floor. He’d said he would, but she knew better. Daddy just wanted to keep her
here so she couldn’t go back to her brother. He didn’t actually want her.
Bonnie didn’t even know why she was still calling him Daddy in her head. Sure, when he came over he acted like one, but that was when he came over, which wasn’t a lot. Angelo was acting more like her Daddy by visiting regularly. Though, she knew it was just because she burned her hand. He wouldn’t be here if she hadn’t.
He’d just left a couple of minutes ago. She’d needed to take a shower and he helped her wrap it up so she could and then changed the bandages after. It was a hassle and everything in her wanted this to heal as fast as it could but at the same time she didn’t. Having Angelo come over was the only human interaction she was getting.
The person who brought her food came when Bonnie was asleep. They would put all the food in the fridge and have breakfast sitting out on the counter. She didn’t even know if it was a guy or girl who came and dropped off the food.
It was depressing.
There was no doubt. Everything was starting to get depressing around here. She wasn’t able to leave and she didn’t have anyone to talk to. This was no life to live. At least if she was in her arranged marriage, she could talk to her brother or try to make new friends. Here, she was stuck in this house and couldn’t do either.
Daddy had said he would have to approve if she tried to call or text anyone else on the phone. The only person she really knew was her brother and Bonnie knew it wasn’t going to fly with Daddy. But she missed her brother terribly. No doubt he was looking for her already. Was he close or was his search way off?
“Hello!” someone yelled.
Bonnie jolted in surprise as she stared at the hallway that led to the front door. Who was here? The voice was familiar, but she hadn’t heard it a lot. Was it Lucius? She shook her head. It couldn’t be him, the voice wasn’t as deep as she remembered his being.
“I’ve come with some candy!” the person yelled again.
Her eyes were trained on the hallway entrance. Should she hide before they got here? Bonnie looked around. There wasn’t really any place to hide in the living room. Behind the couch, maybe, but that was pretty obvious. It wouldn’t take her long to be found.
Before she could do anything, Raynar appeared in the doorway and she let out a breath of relief. Definitely not someone who wanted to hurt her.
“You okay, girly?” Raynar asked. “What’s wrong?”
She shook her head. “Nofing.”
Bonnie closed her eyes. She’d been watching cartoons and wasn’t fully out of Littlespace.
“Okay. If it changes, you can let me know,” Raynar replied. “Now, I heard you hurt your hand and I wanted to come by and make sure you were okay.”
She eyes him suspiciously. Why was he wanting to check up on her? Did Daddy put him up to this?
“I heard from Rogan and Angelo about your hand,” he said. “I bet that was no fun. Have you taken your painkillers today?”
She opened her mouth, ready to lie, but he raised his eyebrow. “No,” she whispered.
“I bet you must be in a lot of pain. Why didn’t you take any?”
Bonnie was in a lot of pain, but she couldn’t open the bottle. It had been too hard to do with one hand. To push down and then twist. Impossible with her one hand not being able to move. “I couldn’t open the bottle,” she admitted, looking away.
It was something so simple and yet she couldn’t do it. It made her feel helpless and like she was no good. The pill bottle was right next to her breakfast this morning. Didn’t they know she wouldn’t be able to open it?
“Awww, girly,” Raynar said as he sat down on the couch right next to her. “Why didn’t you text anyone? Any one of us would have come over to help you. Next time something like this happens, I want you to text me immediately.”
“I didn’t want to bother any of you,” she softly said. “You all were probably busy.”
“Why didn’t you tell Angelo when he came by earlier? I bet he asked you if you took anything.”
She shook her head. He actually hadn’t. She’d said she wanted a shower and he helped her and then bandaged her back up. By that time, he’d gotten a text and said his help was needed elsewhere.
“He didn’t?” Raynar asked, shocked.
“No,” she whispered. “He left before he could. Said he needed to get back for something.”
“Hmm. I’ll have to talk to him and Rogan about it. Someone should have made sure you were eating and taking your medicine.”
Bonnie looked away. That was her Daddy’s job, but he wasn’t really doing it. She really needed to stop calling him that in her head, but it felt so right. She did want him as a Daddy, but he didn’t seem like he wanted her.
“Now, I’ll go get you some medicine and then we can snuggle up on the couch and continue to watch the cartoons,” Raynar said.
She shook her head. “I’m okay.”
“You are taking medicine, it’s non-negotiable.”
Bonnie definitely wasn’t saying no to the medicine. She wanted it so her hand could stop throbbing. It was better than yesterday, but still bad.
“And we are cuddling as well. You need it, I need it. Nothing you can do about it,” he said as he stood up and walked off.
She watched him and couldn’t help but feel turned on as she did so. The way his muscles rippled as he walked away. Raynar wasn’t super muscular, but she could tell he worked out some. Oh, those muscles were delicious.
“Were you checking me out?” Raynar asked, popping his head back in the room.
Her whole face went red and she looked away. How had he known?
Was there a mirror somewhere?
“N-no!” she yelled.
“No lying!”
“Yes,” she whispered.
“That’s okay. I’ve definitely checked you out several times.”
Bonnie’s face got even redder. He’d checked her out? She probably didn’t look too good. Parts of her arms and legs still had cuts and bruises on them. Her wrists were still bandaged from where the cuffs had dug into them.
“Here’s the medicine. I want you to eat a couple gummy bears and then drink the rest of the water with the pills,” Raynar said as he sat everything down.
He wanted her to eat gummy bears before she took medicine? Wasn’t she supposed to eat something healthier before?
“I know what you’re probably thinking, but you’re having gummy bears. You deserve them after everything you’ve gone through. I also happen to love gummy bears so I brought like, four bags of them for us to eat while we watch cartoons.”
Bonnie blinked several times. Sometimes she thought he was a Dominant from the way he acted and commanded her but at other times, she wasn’t so sure. Part of her thought he might be a Little, but that couldn’t be correct, right?
Daddy had said something about Raynar being a switch, but maybe he was just saying that to say it. Maybe he wasn’t actually telling the truth.
“Come on,” Raynar encouraged. “Eat the gummy bears and take the medicine. Then we’re going to start watching cartoons.”
She held her good hand open as he dropped the gummy bears into it. She silently chewed them before taking the medicine.
“Good girl. Don’t tell Daddy about that. He’ll have my bottom if he finds out I fed you gummy bears to have something in your stomach before taking pills.”
Bonnie nodded her head. She didn’t know what to do right now.
“Come on. Snuggle up to me,” Raynar said, sitting on the couch, and patting the cushion beside him. “I don’t bite. Unless you want me to.”
She blushed and slowly moved her way toward him. Why did he have to say things like that? Her attraction to him was only growing by the second.
He was calm, attentive, and kind of funny.
“Don’t be afraid.” Raynar pulled her closer to him. “I love having you close.”
“But you don’t know me,” she whispered.
“I know a little about you and I want to get to know you better. This is a start.”
Bonnie sighed and relaxed in his arms. She loved the feeling of being warm and secure. She felt like she could actually relax right now and not have to be on guard all the time.
“Such a good girl,” he whispered. “Here’s a bag of gummy bears for you. You finish those, you let me know and I’ll get you some more.” “Okay,” she replied.
She turned her attention to the TV, but as she snuggled up with Raynar, she felt her eyes getting heavy as her body got more relaxed. She hadn’t been sleeping well. Maybe it was because she was the only one in the house. Anything could happen to her.
“I’ve got you,” Raynar whispered as he ran his hand through her hair.
It was the only reassurance Bonnie needed before she fell asleep in his arms.
