Rosalind pressed her dry lips together for a moment before finally managing to say, “I suddenly feel like I’ve fallen into a grand conspiracy!”
Ulric shrugged. “I admit it, I’ve always had ulterior motives regarding you.”
She couldn’t help but laugh, “You’ve waited all these years, Mr. Walters. It must have been tough.”
“As long as the outcome is good, that’s what matters. Taking the time to win your heart is a good thing, too.”
Rosalind playfully hit him. “Go find Johnny! I need to call Tilda. Let’s have a meal together. Johnny went to Sweden and stole my good friend away, so he definitely owes us a meal.”
Ulric nodded with a smile. “Sure.”

Johnny was in his office, sharing the latest news from the meeting room with Tilda, his expressions exaggerated and spittle flying everywhere!
“I always knew Ulric had a soft spot for Rosalind and was very tolerant of her, but I never expected him to abandon all his principles for her!”
Tilda was equally surprised and wished she could have been there to witness it!
Just imagine the expressions on the faces of W Group’s executives, all dumbfounded and questioning whether their president had been possessed. It must have been quite a spectacle.
“Will you take my call during the meeting like Ulric?”
“Like Ulric?” Johnny asked.
Tilda nodded.
Johnny thought for a moment. “I’d probably stand up and step out to take it. After all, there were so many people in the conference room, and Ulric was running the meeting. It wouldn’t be appropriate for me to answer it right then.”
Seeing her silent, Johnny quickly added, “Don’t get upset. I promise I’ll do the same thing.”
Tilda couldn’t help but feel a bit helpless at his jumpy demeanor.
“What’s there to be upset about? I fully support your work and think you’re absolutely right! Johnny, you’re not the same as Ulric.”
For Ulric to act that way only showed how deeply he loved Rosalind, placing her above everything else.
But if Johnny were to do the same, it would come off as irresponsible and unprofessional.
“Why do I feel like you’re mocking me?” Johnny pouted, feeling a bit off. “Do you think that because I work under Ulric, I’m somehow inferior?”
“What makes you think of that?”
“You said I’m not the same as Ulric.”
Tilda shook her head before saying, “You’re just different. Focus on your work at W Group. Ulric has already given you enough freedom.”
Johnny stood up from his chair and walked over to take Tilda’s hand. “If you want to be the president’s wife, I could start my own company!”
He was just lazy, enjoying the freedom of working under Ulric, but it wasn’t due to a lack of ability.
Tilda quickly shook her head. “Do you think being a president is easy? Just look at how busy Ulric is all day! Facing a pile of work, can you handle it?”
Johnny smirked, narrowing his eyes. “I can, but then I won’t have time to spend with you.”
“So just stay at W Group.”
“Tilda.” Johnny suddenly lowered his voice, asking, “How about you work at W Group too? Be my secretary, and we can stick together all day. That way, you can keep an eye on me!”
Working at W Group?
Tilda paused for a moment before declining, “No, I don’t think I’m qualified.”
“Being my secretary means whether you’re qualified or not is up to me to decide! I think you’d be perfect for it.”
He had plenty of freedom to choose whoever he wanted for a secretary at W Group.
“Let’s talk about it later.”
Tilda definitely couldn’t join W Group right now.
