Macy’s POV
Dreams do come true, now I believe that. I can’t believe Liam is in my apartment right now, I mean, I never imagined that I’ll see him so soon and that he’ll even bring me home. Yes, his My boyfriend’s brother, and I’m starting to feel something for him, something I can’t fathom.
We walked into my apartment, I put on the lights and led him to the sitting room, he looks around the house and takes a seat.
“Nice place you have here, it suits you.” he says,
“Thanks, I just moved in a month ago, plus It’s close to the office, so I like it, uh, please don’t mind me. I bet you didn’t want to know all that, I’m just blabbing too much.”
Why the hell I’m I saying too much, I mutter under my breath.
“You’re not saying too much, I wanted to know too, so it’s alright.”
He says while smiling at me, goodness! He is perfection, his smile is so beautiful I can’t stop myself from smiling too, I look down at my hands and bite my lip, feeling shy in my house.
“Do you want sugar or just milk in your cup?” I ask, bringing myself out of my daydreaming.
“Just milk.”
I nodded at his answer, done making the tea, I brought it over to the sitting room where he was seated on my couch and I sat opposite after handing his cup to him.
“So what brought you around this area? Sorry, I know you have a lot of business, and maybe you had work here in town, not that it’s my concern I simply want to know.” I spoke,
“You can ask me whatever you want Macy, and I’ll answer you, and yes, I had something important to do here in town.”
He tells me while staring deep into my eyes, I don’t know I just feel so drawn to this man like I can do anything for him and not regret it. I have never felt this way for any man in my entire life, not even Derick.
“So did you do what you wanted to do here in town.”
“I’m on it right now.” he answers
“Oh okay.” I stare at the mug in my hands. We stayed quiet for a while, and the silence in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Until he broke the silence
“Tell me about your family Macy.”
“Well um, my parents died when I was 10 years old, I was raised by my grandmother alone.”
“No siblings?”
“Yea, no siblings. I’m an only child.”
“How did your parents die?”
“Well, they died in an accident, I was in the car with them, but I survived, and they didn’t.”
“I’m sorry about that Macy.”
“It’s okay I’m fine I mean it happened a long time ago I’m over it.”
“What about your grandmother? Is she still alive.”
“Yes, she’s still alive and much healthy too.”
Liam nods his head at my answer, I wasn’t expecting him to be interested in knowing about my family, this has been the longest conversation we’ve had since I met him and truth be told I’m loving it.
“What are you thinking about?” he asks, bringing me out of my daydreaming.
“I’m thinking about you being interested in knowing me all of a sudden, I mean it’s just surprising, to think I thought you never liked me.”
“Macy, assumptions sometimes make one do something rash, look I have never hated you if you only knew what feel, but I know you feel it too so that for now is enough for me.”
“You know what I feel?”
“it’s complicated for now, but I do promise soon enough you’ll understand everything and why you are so drawn to me.”
“Do you…. Uh, I mean do you feel drawn to me too?”
“Yes, Macy I do, maybe even more than you feel. Come seat with me.”
he tells me, patting the sofa to his own, without complaint, I do as I am told. I went to seat close to him, inhaling his husky manly scent.
Liam
Oh goddess, having her, so close right now was what I always dreamed of. It gladdens my heart to know she feels the pull of the bond, I know she’s confused, and I want nothing more than to explain everything to her right now, take her home, mark, and mate her.
I want to make her mine, so the world knows who she belongs to. But then I have to take things slow with her, so I don’t push her away, I have to explain everything to Derick and make him understand he can never have her.
“Liam.”
“Yes Macy” She calls my name so seductively and Her voice is so sweet, like music to my ears that I can never get tired of hearing, her eyes are so beautiful as she stares up at me.
“Liam, can I touch you? I… Um, I just want to feel something.” She tells me, stuttering. I laugh at her comments, goddess she’s so cute.
“Of course Macy, you can touch me whenever you want, wherever, and however, you like.”
“You need to tell her as soon as possible Liam, she’s so confused, and it hurts me to see her this way.” Rage mutters in my head
“I have to take care of Derick first, then I’ll tell her, so she understands why she is feeling this way.” I say to my wolf.
I guide her hands to my face, allowing her to feel my face with her palms. That sweet electric feeling takes place as our skin meets, I watch her open her mouth in awe at the feeling.
“It feels…good, Liam.”
“Yes I know I feel the same way.”
“Why do we feel this way if I touch you?”
“I’ll explain when the time is right okay, for now, I have to go.”
“So soon? You can stay, I mean do you have something to do right now?”
“I’m not leaving you forever Macy, I’ll come back soon but remember we have a connection Macy I might not be able to explain things now, but soon as possible you’ll understand everything.”
“When will I see you again?”
“I promise I’ll come back soon as possible okay.”
“Okay, Thanks for tonight Liam.”
“No Macy, thank you. I’ll see you soon stay safe.”
It was hard to leave her all alone, but I had to, I’ll be seeing her soon, so I just have to bear it For now, I have something more important to take care of, and that’s Derick.
