“You remain calm even when your life is at risk, like now.”
Eva smiled. She couldn’t laugh because her stomach would feel like it was being pulled. Eva had already made peace with her love story with Christian; after all, the bond of the wolves was stronger than any magic in this world.
“By the way, thank you for helping me. Even though you suffered like this.”
“Bloody witch. She’s not enrolled in the Idris Council, and I’ve never seen her. I have a bad feeling about her, Chris.”
Not only Eva, but Chris also had the same feeling about Margot. He observed how she looked at Seth when Seth was motionless. Margot seemed to be possessed by an aura of hatred when she last looked at Seth before she disappeared into the portal.

“The vampires already know about Skyler’s condition. Your enemies are not just two but three.”
Seth massaged his temples. He thought hard about all the possibilities that would happen. Plus, the vampire clan from now on could not be underestimated.
After hearing the explanation from Kai, Seth became even more dizzy. Seth had to act quickly because attacks from vampires were always unexpected. He was even pessimistic because his own family was also having problems with witches.
“You should have a plan for unexpected attacks, Seth. Perhaps Alexandra and I will be able to handle the vampires. Mikael will definitely order the Elite Hunter to attack Red Crescent Moon. Um… plus some warriors, if possible.”
“And the witches and rogues?”
“You can count on us, Alpha. After yesterday’s battle, I know their weak points,” Will said as he rushed into the room.
“What do you know, Gamma Will?”
“All the rogues are obedient to the witch. We need to immobilise her first. Yesterday, whenever the wolves would attack them, the witch always got in the way. She seems to have many hands to do magic.”
“Eva even lost against her. Something must be missing here. Well, I’ll take your advice into consideration, Will.”
Seth did not want to ask Eva for help anymore. It was enough that the witch helped him in every Red Crescent Moon matter. He would be an ignorant person to keep asking Eva to help him while the witch alone had to brave death twice.
Even Seth had just been notified by his father that Eva still needed two more treatments to heal her internal wounds. Although he always had a way to recover herself faster with his magical power, Seth remembered his father’s message that Red Crescent Moon must stand alone to deal with witch-related problems while Eva was still recovering.
The only one Seth could rely on was his wife, Edith. Although Edith’s magical abilities were still fairly average, Seth knew that his pack would need Edith’s powerful healing abilities. He just needed to gather the strength to face the rogues and witches in greater numbers.
“What are you thinking about?”
Edith seated herself in the chair across Seth’s desk right after the wolves left his work room. She walked into the room when Seth was daydreaming and left it for a few minutes. She could tell that Seth was thinking about something and looked seriously lost in thought.
“Yes. Dad just told me that Eva is recovering from her internal injuries. I have so much to think about right now. We’re always depending on Eva; I feel bad for her.”
“Yeah, she’s a witch who’s done a lot for the pack, but I’m sure that’s not the only thing bothering you, right?”
“Will said that we have to fight that witch if we want to defeat the Rogues. That witch is the source of their power.”
“If I ever lose my way, then I’ll go to my mother. We’ll talk a lot, and eventually I’ll be able to find a solution to all the problems plaguing my mind. Maybe you can try that by seeking information from your ancestors.”
Seth suddenly remembered something. He had heard his father say that the rogue knew his grandfather. He considered Edith’s idea. He should ask his grandfather about the events that happened in the past.
“I have to go,” Seth said as he got up from his chair.
“Does it have to be right now?” asked Edith with an astonished face.
“I can’t shift into a spirit form like you did with your magic power. I have to go to America now.”
“I will prepare your belongings. You just take care of the pack’s needs first before you leave.”
“Thank you, baby.”
Edith went back to her room while Seth walked to the backyard to look for Jadden. Edith prepared almost two dozen outfits for Seth because werewolves would damage their own clothes more often than humans. She also slipped a dreamcatcher in between Seth’s clothes.
For fifteen minutes, Edith waited for Seth in the front hall. She wanted to take Seth to the airport. It happened to be in the same direction as Julian’s school, and Edith would take her son back to school.
Edith heard Seth’s voice getting louder while talking to Jadden. Seth appeared from behind the wall, along with Jadden and Will. The three of them were heard organising plans during Seth’s departure to America.
“I’ll take you to the airport, and I’ll take Julian to his school,” Edith said when the three finished talking.
“Alright. Jadden, ask the warrior to accompany Luna during the journey,” Seth ordered the Beta.
“Yes Alpha.”
While Jadden asked the two warriors to escort their Luna, Seth reached for his mobile phone to inform his grandfather that he would be visiting. Seeing that, Edith chuckled to herself.
“You’re werewolves, but using human technology to communicate-that’s ridiculous.”
“If there’s a practical way, why complicate things?”
“Yeah, you’re right. Human technology helps us a bit, doesn’t it?”
Seth smiled. If it wasn’t for the long distance, he would prefer to run to visit his relatives. He minimised the use of human technology if he did not really need it.
Including the moving object in front of him now. Seth had to use a car to get to the airport because not only him, but Edith and Julian would be travelling with him. Seth got into the car and sat next to the steering seat while his warrior drove the car for him.
[Dad, mom tucked a dreamcatcher in your suitcase. She wants you to always dream about her,] said Julian through mind link.
[Now you can see through solid objects?]
[That’s not it. I’m holding her hand right now.]
[Ah, you peeping tom.]
Seth chuckled afterwards. He saw from the rear-view mirror that what Julian said was true. The boy was holding his mother’s hand and diving into her mind.
“Don’t worry. I will always dream about you, Luna Edith.”
