Even though Edith had only ever experienced death and rebirth, which wasn’t particularly terrible for her, she was disgusted. Edith reasoned that if someone divided her soul into seven pieces, she must be insane.
“In black magic, that can happen. It’s the same for a werewolf who can never shift into a human again because he did it on purpose. He chose to become a brutal berserker monster. For creatures with a different way of thinking, doing something like that feels good.” Seth smiled slightly after giving his explanation.
The reason Seth gave made sense to Edith. Edith wondered how Seth would feel if he did not meet her. Edith was not particularly confident, but Seth repeatedly told her that her presence in Seth’s life was the greatest gift the Moon Goddess had given him.

“Why didn’t you attack that Luna from Red Crescent Moon, Katarina?” asked the man, who was sitting in a chair by the fireplace.
Katarina was sitting on the sofa, looking at the fireplace. She took a slow sip of wine from the glass in her hand before answering, “I have other plans with her. She and her descendants have my mother’s blessing. I wanted to have one of her progeny. When I attacked the Alpha, I already knew she was pregnant, so I had to let her give birth to her child first.”
“But Luna is already a vampire. Did you not take that into consideration?”
“What you said is true. I thought, after disguising myself as a necromancer, the Alpha would come to me again, but it turns out the hybrid gave her blood to my niece instead. Planning this revenge requires me to start from scratch. The child might either be helpful or destructive because it is the blood of three monsters. I’m not sure yet.”
Katarina realised her mistake. She cursed herself for miscalculating, but she still suppressed her desire for revenge. Her attention was now focused on Luna’s special daughter. She had to carefully plot her revenge this time.
“What are you going to do?” the man asked again.
“For now, I’m still observing her, but in the long run, I’ll kidnap her daughter. The werewolf’s guard is getting tighter; they have Eva Quince’s magic to block my surveillance. That bitch witch also has powerful protection magic to counter my spell.”
“That means you’re at a dead end for now. I can’t go back to France either; Mikael must be very angry about that incident. Yeah, we’re both living in isolation.”
“Indeed. Thank you for being my partner. I really appreciate it, Hubert.”

On the lawn in front of the Eiffel Tower, Edith was removing her shoes while carrying Julie. This place’s nighttime ambience was lovely in contrast to the dark vibe that pervaded Paris. While the humans were ignorant of the sinister force lurking behind the veil, Edith peered around her.
“I actually feel claustrophobic here, but this is my first time visiting Paris. I wonder why Julie seems happy to be in this place, Seth.”
“Maybe she’s absorbing the energy,” Seth replied carelessly.
“I hope this isn’t a bad thing. I’m so worried about Julie.”
“You should stop worrying about nothing. It’s going to affect you a lot, Luna.”
“Yeah, you’re right; maybe I’m too paranoid.”
I’ve always wanted to spend time with a girl under the night sky in Paris, so this opportunity is too fantastic to pass up.
“Wow, that’s a mind-blowing confession, Alpha! It turns out that a man like you can say something romantic like that.”
Edith smiled at Seth’s confession. If she was an ordinary human, she would probably enjoy this night very much. Her reverie was shattered when her lips were unexpectedly grabbed by Seth.
The kiss was broken by Julie’s sudden crying. Seth pulled his face away and immediately grabbed Julie from Edith’s arms. He straightened her up and took her for a walk around them to calm her down.
“You feel neglected, don’t you?” murmured Seth as he kissed Julie’s supple cheek.
Little Julie stopped crying. Her tiny hands reached for Seth’s face, and she patted his cute nose. The sound of laughter began to be heard by Edith as Seth managed to comfort his little daughter. Edith joined them and played tease with little Julie, making the little baby laugh even harder.
They spent the rest of the evening at the hotel. Edith splashed her body with warm water to relieve her exhaustion after the walk. Edith felt something touch her skin. Edith turned around and saw Seth already standing in front of her with a gaze that was misty with desire.
Seth pushed her body up against the wall, and his lips were already touching hers. They kissed for a long time under the shower with their tongues intertwined with each other. Along with Seth’s one hand already squeezing her breast and his other hand squeezing between Edith’s legs,.
Seth then knelt down and played with his tongue in Edith’s cleavage, savouring it with subtle sucks and bites. Edith’s hands gripped both sides of his head and pressed against her sensitive spot. Seth hugged Edith from behind as he slid his hands all over her body, where he could reach. Seth’s rhythmic hip movements made Edith feel like every sensitive spot on her body felt good.

Seth’s movements were getting faster. His thing was already going in and out and making Edith moan incoherently. Edith was already resting her hands on the wall to keep her balance. Edith felt her legs begin to feel weak, along with the pleasure that spread throughout her body.
Seth swiftly caught Edith’s unsteady body and held her by hugging her tightly. Her body had begun to tease, and Seth finally reached his climax. His breath was panting and he felt heavy. In his arms, Edith was already drooping limply. Seth immediately turned Edith’s body over and leaned her against the wall. He also helped clean her up.
“You should rest now; we’re going back to England tomorrow morning.”
Seth kissed Edith’s forehead as she lay on the bed. Seth also covered her body with a blanket and switched on the heater. He was still awake to take care of some reports from Jadden regarding Matthieu and Ginette.
“You’re not sleeping, honey?”
“I still have to take care of something; you can sleep first; I’ll catch up later,” Seth replied with a smile.
“Good night, honey.”
“Good night.”
Seth called Jadden immediately after reading one of the reports the beta had sent. A grin appeared on his face. It was like Seth had won the lottery, and Jadden picked up the call immediately.
