“Did you find the body?”
“Sorry, Alpha, we haven’t found him yet,” said one of the three people who was looking down at the floor.
“Stupide vampire! I knew from the start that he was unreliable. Call him, I’ll break his neck!”
It took half an hour for the man to see the vampire brought to him. The vampire shuddered in fear as the Alpha’s piercing eyes stared at him as he walked towards him.
“You promised me you would kill Christian, but what did you do? Apparently your bloody big mouth is inversely proportional to your brain!”
“But I saw him fall down the waterfall, Alpha,” the vampire defended himself.
“His body hasn’t been found yet, you idiots! Bloodsuckers like you are useless.”
The Alpha shifted into a dark grey wolf instantly. In front of his warriors, the Alpha showed his supremacy by biting the vampire’s neck until it separated from his body. Between the satisfaction of having vented his anger and the disappointment of not getting his wish, the Alpha returned to his original form. He returned to his throne and sat back with a straight face, as if nothing had happened.
“Mon cher, why didn’t you give him a chance? If there’s no Ancel, you’ll have to find another vampire to cover our tracks. I’m tired of waiting around.” said his Luna.
“I won’t command any more vampires to destroy Red Crescent Moon. The current Alpha is just a brat, so I’ll step in to deal with him directly. It’s time for me to become the Supreme Alpha. Do not worry, dear; I will fulfil your vengeance.”

Venezia,
“Is this really his house, Seth?” asked Edith as she took in every corner of the three-story house with its gloomy atmosphere.
“That’s the information I got. Every witch in Venice is registered, and Luna Anatolia herself told me, ”
Seth took Edith’s hand, and they both stepped onto the steps. He knocked on the door, and they both heard voices from inside the house. Not long after, the door opened and revealed a woman wearing a maid’s uniform.
“Good morning. I’m Seth, and this is Edith. We’re from the Red Crescent Moon Pack. We would like to see Imogen Pearson; is she on site?”
“Yes. Please come in.”
Seth and Edith stepped into the house. They walked after the servant, and finally they were invited to wait in a room with antique furniture in every corner. They sat on the long sofa and took in every detail of the furniture in this room.
After ten minutes of waiting at the doorway, I heard the footsteps of a man with sunglasses framing his face. The man greeted Seth in Italian and shook his hand, then kissed Edith on the hand.
“It is my honour to have a visit from the grandson of the Supreme Alpha. How may I help you?”
There was one more thing Edith knew about Seth’s identity, but Edith would ask Seth another time. Right now, she just wanted to know what they had come to see the witch for. She wondered why Seth insisted on seeing this witch in Venice.
“I thought you were a woman; I’m sorry. Eva left this to me. She said, I should give this to you.”
Seth took out a small red gemstone and gave it to Imogen. Imogen picked up the gemstone and nodded afterwards.
“Alright. What brings you to see me, Alpha?”
Seth explained the reason for meeting Imogen. He told her about the vision in his dream. The part where he killed Edith made his tone of voice sound bitter to Edith.
Edith was shocked to hear Seth’s answer. She felt that she was not dead; she still felt her heartbeat pumping every flow of blood in her body with regularity. She turned to look at Seth with great astonishment.
“Me, Seth?”
“I’ll explain later,” replied Seth, and his face turned back to look at Imogen.
“Oh okay. This is the second time I’ve been visited by the Alpha of the Red Crescent Moon. First your grandfather, and now his grandson. Do you guys really like to cause trouble or what? Every time you guys visit me, you just ask for my help to bring your mate back to life.” Imogen chuckled softly as he touched his chin.
“My grandmother was resurrected by you.”
Imogen just nodded and stood towards one of his paintings that was hanging on one side of the room. He talked about the topic of the use of the gem in his hand. With one swing of Imogen’s hand, the man made her gem shine. Imogen smiled after seeing the shining gem in her hand.
“What are the things you need?”
“Your blood, an item of hers, and my magic power, of course. But I should warn you: raising someone from the dead will always have consequences. She’ll be fragile for at least a year. If she’s an ordinary human, then her body will be weak, and if she’s a supernatural being, then her soul will be vulnerable to evil forces. I didn’t set a high price for you because I know your family has vast wealth and influence in our world. I didn’t want to get into trouble with the higher-ups, so I did it for free and this gemstone instead.”
Seth looked thoughtful; he would consider all the possibilities. He couldn’t decide right now. He just wanted Edith not to get hurt or feel any pain.
“Why not just turn her into a vampire? Vampires are immortal. Even if you’re enemies, you won’t kill her either, right?”
“It’s precisely because I killed her that I came to ask for your help. Everything that happened was caused by vampires.”
“Horrible. Did you know about it from the divination?”
“Such like that. We werewolves, especially McKirby, have strong intuition, and I was given visions through dreams.”
“Just consider it first. I’m still here; you can visit me again.” Seth massaged his temples. Edith, who heard that, shuddered in shock because it was Seth who took her life. Seth decided to consider making this a contingency plan.
Edith tried to calm Seth, who still seemed restless in his thoughts, but to no avail. All the way back to the hotel, Edith felt alone. Seth remained silent and thoughtful without saying a word to her.
“Do you like travelling around in the gondola, my little caramel?” asked Edith.
“Love it, mummy.”
Julian mind-linked with Seth, who had been silent. He felt overlooked because Seth ignored him. Seth was immersed in the words spoken by Imogen this morning. His head was getting dizzy from thinking about it.
“Daddy, are you mad at me? You’re not talking to me at all.”
Seth turned to Julian, who was looking at him. Seth replied, “I’m sorry; Daddy’s not mad at you, little wolf. Daddy is just thinking, How can we surprise mummy?”
“Wow, what surprise, Daddy?”
“How about after this, we have dinner and take her dancing? You first, then Daddy.”
“I’d love to. Mummy will be happy.”
