Book:Slave To The Ruthless Mafia Lord Published:2025-3-3

Maxwell walked with Alejandro back to the mansion, “Boss, you are losing lot of blood, you need to get treated.” Maxwell proposed choosing his words carefully to avoid fuelling his anger.
Alejandro stared at his soaked shirt, he raised his head to glance at Maxwell and a headache was welcomed. He doesn’t let it stop him from saying what he intended to say.
“You need to go back to the club, get the document and the stone then burn it to ashes and make it look like an accident. We can’t avoid making more enemies now.”
“Yes, boss,” Maxwell said with respect as he quickly walked toward the car.
“Maxwell,” He called back.
“Boss.” He answered grabbing the door then glanced back at him.
“Thank you.”
He was shocked for a while hearing that but he simply nodded and got in the car driving out at high speed. He needs to finish the job before sunrise.
Alejandro groaned softly before he walked out trying not to limp in front of his guards, he could not let them see him as a weakling but it was becoming unbearable for him to walk.
He didn’t know he had lost so much blood like this because of Jasira; thinking about that. He was still shocked that he killed Fabiano because of Jasira.
He just hoped none of his guys managed to escape to inform the others.
“My… Alejandro,” Lily sobbed rushing towards him. Her yell called attention toward Alejandro, he hated the look on his guards.
“Mom,” He called barely above a whisper.
Lilly sighed closing her eyes before she turned to the few guards lurking around.
“You are dismissed till sunset.” She ordered.
“Yes ma’am.” They said excitedly before disappearing into their quarters.
“Thank you, mom.”
Saying nothing, she quickly went to his side, placing his unwounded arm over her shoulder and her hand snaked around his waist.
“This is not necessary Mom.” He groaned removing her hand.
“I’m your mother, Alejandro, you are my child not some capo to me.”
He sighed having no strength to argue with her, he tried not to crush her with his weight as they walked back to his room.

“Lie down while I call Vivian here,” Lilly announced as she helped him adjust on the bed.
He nodded barely listening to her, he was feeling so fizzy from too much blood he had lost. Vivian was the only one to be trusted among the outsider doctors, she was the same age as his mother, it was dangerous waiting for her to get here this midnight but that was only the safe option.
“I called her and she was on her way,” Lilly announced coming with a bucket of water and a neat towel.
She brought the mini first aid box and dropped them beside the bed, she sat beside him on the bed.
She grabbed the scissors to tear the shirt out of his body since he was too weak to remove it, she had a lot of questions to ask him and she hated the fact that she had to wait for him to feel better before she could ask them.
She glanced at him and saw him struggling not to close his eyes, he was strong with him still conscious considering how much blood he had lost.
She dumped the soaked shirt into the bin and cleaned his body with a neat towel before disinfecting the wound, the deep slash under his arm made her close her eyes briefly. This was going to become a scar again.
“Lilly,” Vivian burst through the room holding her medicine box.
She breathed in relief seeing her, she checked the time to see that it was almost thirty minutes since she called her.
“Vivian” Lilly called happily offering her seat she sat on.
“Thank you for coming this late.” Lilly said with a beam of smile, she felt okay now just by seeing her.
“You know I’m going to do anything for you.” She replied taking her seat and setting her medicine box to the stool next to her.
“This will need stitches.” She announced after examining him.
“I know, I just don’t want him to have another scar again.” She said sadly then sniffed. He have had enough scars already.
“Don’t worry, the scar will be minimal.” She assured getting to work.

“I gave him stitches and some pain relief with a sleeping injection.”
“Thank you so much, Vivian,” Lilly said gratefully following her out.
“This must be serious since he had had several cuts for a while.”
Lilly sighed rolling her eyes tired, “I don’t even know what happened, I had to wait until he was better before I asked.”
She turned to her which made her stop walking, “You should sleep here and leave tomorrow morning.”
“Yeah, I plan on doing that and giving him his morning pills before I leave.
Lilly sighed in relief and led her toward her wings.

Alejandro writhed on the bed with his shoulder shaking. “No Fabiano, don’t use… the knife on me.”
“You need to be strong to be a capo, stop being a weak soul Alejandro,” Fabiano’s voice replayed in his head as he came to him with his favorite dagger to slash him.
“No!” He shouted jerking back to life breathing heavily. “Fuck.” He muttered throwing his head back.
The muscles he didn’t know he had hurt with the force he used in waking up.
He closed his eyes to still his raging heartbeat, the nightmares were back again after years of not having them.
He tried to get out of the bed and he groaned, he was glad he killed the bastard that put him in this situation.
He gritted his teeth in pain as he stood up from the bed and walked gently to the bathroom.
He stared at his shirtless body, it must have been his mother who unclothed him. He was grateful for that, he couldn’t avoid an outsider seeing his tattoed scar and all.
As he had his bath while avoiding his bandage arm, his mind went to Jasira and his mind skipped. How was she? He never wanted to admit that she meant something to him until he saw her lying lifelessly in his arms back in the car.
That moment scared him so much, that he needed to be quick here and leave for the clinic.
He was just settling behind his desk fully dressed when his mother came in with Vivian who was holding her medicine box as usual.
“Alejandro.” Lilly greeted in relief.
“Mom,” He acknowledged before nodding at Vivian who greeted him.
“I need to change the bandage and administer some drugs to you.” She announced moving to him and waiting for his approval before she could start.
“Go on, Vivian,” He said tiredly and continued “But no sleeping drug.”
She paused to glance at Lilly in question who nodded in approval.
“Okay.” She muttered and set to work. She had always known him to hate sleeping pills because they didn’t always work on him but she didn’t know he was going to reject them in his condition. Well, that was their world after all, they didn’t want to be seen as weaklings using sleeping pills before they could sleep.

Alejandro strolled calmly towards the clinic even when his mother was against this but a mere cut can’t stop him from going about his daily things.
He nodded in acknowledgment to any of the guards who greeted him on his way to the clinic.
“Boss.” The doctor from yesterday greeted him immediately when she saw him.
“Jasira?” He said more like in question waiting for an update about her.
She swallowed in fear staring at the floor.
“Talk.”
