Jasira spent all her morning trying to fix her spoiled phone so she could put a call to her mother’s nanny. She was really worried about how her mother was doing, she was enduring all of this for her and she kept forgetting to reach out to her. Is she neglecting her mother, no she won’t dare. It was all the thing that was happening to her recently that made it seem so.
She dropped half part of the phone she unscrewed on the bed and the screwdriver she was holding. A long painful sigh left her mouth as she stared at them. It’s not like she even knew what to do with the phone, she was only trying her best which was clearly useless now.
Taking a short glance at her phone before rolling out of the bed. She slide her feet into the flip-flop, her eyes roamed around the room, and loneliness overwhelmed her. Thinking about it, she hadn’t seen anybody else except Alejandro and his mother and that stupid guard of his, with the nurse of course but they all don’t count. She missed home, she missed her mum and this is the moment she was realizing that she missed the club and Barbie, she missed her so much. A tear rolled down her cheek and she wiped it away with the back of her hands before half-hearted walking towards the half-wall window in her room.
She pulled the blinds aside and gazed outside, a sad smile filling her face as she remembered the bad memory, It was just like yesterday when she was climbing down the window, and she chuckled at herself, what If she had died while trying to climb down?
“Oh shit.” She said rubbing her arms around her body toning down the tension she just got. She was really desperate then that she didn’t even think about her life. Thank God she was okay or else she would have hated herself if she lost or broke a bone.
She let the hot scorching sun hit her body as she spread her arms wide and close her eyes enjoying the moment, then she snapped her eyes open and for the first time since she was here, she noticed the beauty in her front. She dropped her hand gently admiring the beautiful sight. She pulled a hair out of her face before smiling, it was really beautiful especially since she stayed on the highest floor, everything was so visible to her.
The fountain really looked small here, they were like tiny angels spreading water peacefully to the world. An old oak tree stood far at the side of the manor, it had a swing adjoined to it.
Even from here, she could see that the swing was very old and had not been in use for a long time.
She was still admiring the manor when a white Bugatti chiffon drove in.
A familiar burn spread through her chest and behind her eyes, her jaw was clenched together with her teeth. When the car door opened. Tremor ran through her body and her heart skipped a frantic beat as she stared at him. She clutched onto her dress with barely white knuckles.
“Alejandro,” She muttered under her breath, her eyes roved around him and she couldn’t deny his beauty. Sharp jaw, sharpen eagle eyebrows, and his lips which she can’t take her mind off. She really wants to have a taste of him but she doubt if that would ever be possible.
Alejandro glanced up her side like he knew she was ogling over him. A small smirk appeared on his mouth when Jasira threw her hands up dramatically before fleeing away.
“His dramatic baby girl.” He muttered leaving for his room. Did he just say that? His eyes twitched in realization of what he said but he refused to dwell on the thought too much. It’s useless and unhealthy.
He massaged his shoulders as he strode toward his room, he rolled his neck around before opening his door with one hand while scrolling through his phone with the other. He dropped his phone on the dresser before hanging his white brazier on the hanger. He stripped himself out of his clothes and walked into the bathroom.
He stayed under the shower neglecting his custom-made bathtub. The water drizzled on his body and rolled to his back. They prickled his back waking up all the scars and memories. The thick and thin scars rose on his back and he hissed.
He snapped his eyes closed and pushed his black shoulder-length hair back. His eyes went back open and they looked more darker and perilous. He couldn’t be happier that he avenged himself, that he killed the man that caused him pain when he was young.
He stepped out of the shower after a while and throw on a casual tracksuit. He drawled the zipper up as he casually picked up his phone on the dresser. He blow-dried his hair while searching for the head maid’s contact.
Gather the maids
Alejandro.
He sent the text message and left for Jasira’s room.
You should knock before coming here for real. Her words boomed in his head as he stood before her door. He chuckled, she really has the audacity.
He also noticed how her eyes squeezed while saying that. And the day she pouted so she won’t be punished, he wanted to grab her lips and explored every part of it but he doesn’t do kissing.
Kissing was for affection while sex was nothing. He pushed her door opened and stepped in briskly.
He was stunned for a moment to see her curled up in her bed, the comforter was pulled to half of her body. He walked toward her side, his steps soft on the linoleum floor. For someone so large, he moved with the grace of a leopard.
His eyes lingered on sleeping Jasira. Her ginger hair scattered all over her face leaving out her mouth. His eyes move to her plumbed pink lips.
She pouted in her sleep and there was a twitch in his heart. The urge to kiss those lips was so huge that he snapped his eyes away. He was not going to fall into the temptation. He leaned forward to her side and brushed the hair from her face. She shivered from her sleep but he didn’t stop.
His finger laced on her face. They covered up her nose, mouth, and eyes. He pinched her lips and as he assumed, they were soft. His eyes stayed long on her plump lower lips before he blinked. Her lips were very tempting and he had to admit that she was a beautiful lady.
Her beauty attracted him the first he saw her, he just want to have a one-night stand with her and everything should be done but her stubbornness got her here.
He pinched her again, this time harder than the first one and which could jolt her awake. He was not here to admire her.
Jasira stirred up in sleep, she suddenly felt suffocated from her sleep. A faint smell of mint and a manly scent burned her nose which made her open her eyes slowly.
She darted her sleepy eyes around the figure hovering over her. Who is that? She thought forcing her eyes more open.
“Holy shit!” She screamed rolling back. She scrambled up to her knee and stared eyes bug out at Alejandro.
“What is that?” She stuttered with a fast-paced heart. What the fuck was he doing here, hovering over her body? Is here to punish her. She rumbled her hands through her hair at the countless thoughts roaming in her mind.
Alejandro leaned up from her bed and dusted the imaginary sand out of his palm before dipping them into his pocket.
“Waking you up.” He said nonchalantly and Jasira turned her head to another side to roll her eyes.
“Bastard,” She muttered very low to herself. She exhaled and turned to him, keeping the expression on her face neutral.
“That was not how it is done.” She muttered under her breath but Alejandro was quick enough to hear her. His eyes scanned her face searching for all sorts of any expression and caught fear even when she tried so much by hiding it.
He moved toward the bed and smirked when she scrambled out of the bed as quickly as possible staying at the far end because of him. She always proved to be bold but she was a chicken beside him.
“I don’t need to be taught.”
Jasira nodded in approval saying nothing, knowing arguing with him would only push her into depth of trouble. She packed her hair into a messy bun with the rubber she forgot on her wrist. She took a short scan at him, her throat bubbling upon seeing his opened-toned chest from his half-closed tracksuit. She blinked her eyes and direct her gaze back at his face.
She raised her brow when she saw him looking at her with disgust.
“What?” She angled her eyebrow up before she smile. “Did I look prettier?” She cocked her hips to a side flaunting some strands of hair covering her forehead.
Amusement ran up to his face and she was quick to notice that before his face was stoic again. He really looked pretty with wide-pressed lips and raised brows. She admired.
“You wish.”
“You need to see the mirror.”
“What?” Her voice rose as she stood with a wide stance and place each hand on her waist. “Hey, I’m pretty.” She whined when he squeezed his nose.
“Like my boot right?” He mocked and she gasped with her mouth wide open. He didn’t just compare her to a boot right? Oh, fuck, he did. How could he?
She gnashed her teeth at him and pout. He was only mocking her but he won’t let him get into her. “Well, I knew I’m pretty.” She added proudly pouting her lips
Alejandro shook his head before he removed his hand from his pocket and checked the wristwatch strapped to his left wrist. Oh, shoot. The time left is a bit small now, he needed to get to the foyer
“Meet me at the foyer.”
