Twenty-one years ago, Flynn was only seven years old. Adrianna Noble went to the Lavender Creek to dig for medicinal herbs when she encountered a group of pursuers intent on killing her. Fortunately, she ran into Wild Wilcox’s wife, Katie Wilcox’s grandmother, who shielded her and helped her escape the deadly threat.
According to Grandma Wilcox, Flynn’s mother had been severely injured during the encounter. Fearing exposure, she dared not go to the hospital. Instead, Grandma Wilcox used a sewing needle to stitch up her wounds-thirty-seven stitches on her back alone!
Thirty-seven stitches! At the time, Flynn’s mother was not yet thirty years old, the same age as Rose Sharp. The suffering she endured was unimaginable.
With the wound infected and unable to seek medical help, she developed a fever of 104 degrees Fahrenheit by the fourth day, relying solely on herbal remedies to survive.
Adrianna Noble never showed her pain in front of Flynn, but he knew how much she had endured during that time. Every time he thought about it, an uncontrollable rage surged within him.
Now that the Sharp’s Group matter was nearing its end, the next step was to settle accounts with the Clark family.
“Mom, I will make sure the Clark family is wiped from existence, especially that despicable pair, Tessa Watson and Paxton Clark,” Flynn murmured softly, his eyes icy with determination and longing for his mother.
“I will make them die in endless regret and fear.”
“And I will find you, no matter what.”
Flynn’s voice was barely audible, but the coldness in his eyes and his deep yearning for his mother were unmistakable.
“Flynn, what are you muttering about? Do you think we’ve gathered enough?” Molly George approached, pointing to two full bags by the river.
“That should do. Let’s head to Jade Dragon Mountain,” Flynn said, snapping out of his reverie and turning to leave.
Molly George was slightly taken aback. “Hey, Flynn, are you really going up the mountain empty-handed?”
“For a Grandmaster, carrying over four hundred pounds is nothing. Harriet, follow me up first!” With that, Flynn set off on the path to Jade Dragon Mountain.
Molly George’s face darkened, and she couldn’t help but curse under her breath.
She hadn’t expected she had to carry the bags up the mountain. Couldn’t he show a little consideration? She was, after all, a girl!
Despite her thoughts, she tied the bags securely, slung one over each shoulder, and began the ascent.
When the three reached the summit of Jade Dragon Mountain, Molly George dropped the two heavy bags of pebbles with a thud, silently venting her frustration.
“Not bad. The mountain path was steep, but you carried the two bags steadily and reached the top without panting. Your inner energy has grown stronger,” Flynn remarked as he emptied the bags and began stacking the pebbles to build a furnace.
He dug a pit two days prior, so all that was left was to pile the pebbles.
“Am I going to advance to a Great Grandmaster? Really?” Molly George felt as if she were dreaming.
All her resentment vanished in an instant.
Becoming a Great Grandmaster was something she had never dared to dream of before. At best, she thought she might achieve it by the age of forty.
But now, it was within reach!
Flynn was truly something else.
“You have a talent, and your foundation is solid. If not for the setback caused by your senior brother’s death, you would already be a Grandmaster at your peak by now,” Flynn stated.
Molly George fell silent.
It was true that her martial arts progress had stagnated over the past three years, largely due to the death of her senior brother.
“Flynn, if I study diligently under you, what level could I reach in three years?” Molly George asked, her eyes filled with anticipation.
“What level in three years? Come with me, and I’ll show you!” Flynn led her to a massive boulder.
Below them stretched a sea of clouds, shrouding the endless mountain ranges.
The view was breathtaking.
The two women stood behind Flynn, their stunning beauty and graceful figures complementing the vastness and grandeur of the mountains, creating a poetic scene.
“So beautiful!” Harriet Hamilton exclaimed, her eyes sparkling as she marveled at nature’s artistry.
“Boom!”
Suddenly, Flynn’s aura erupted. With a single hand, he pressed lightly toward the sea of clouds.
A thunderous explosion echoed, shaking the very ground beneath them. The two women felt as if their hearts might burst from the shock.
But as they trembled, they witnessed the impossible-Flynn had dispersed the sea of clouds with a single strike!
The northern Niarak, the eastern mountain ranges, and the vast expanse of Shipmeda State to the south all came into view.
With one palm strike, he cleared the sea of clouds…
Was this something a mortal could achieve?
Could she reach such a level in three years?
Molly George’s eyes nearly popped out.
She couldn’t believe it.
“Don’t be so surprised,” Flynn said as he jumped down from the boulder to continue building the furnace, leaving the two women in stunned silence.
Harriet Hamilton was equally awestruck.
People often dreamed of shaking heaven with sheer force, and wasn’t that exactly what Flynn had just done?
With a light move, no more forceful than swatting a mosquito, he cleared the sea of clouds and revealed the world below.
She couldn’t imagine what it would look like if Flynn were to unleash his full power.
The thunderous explosion was so loud that it was heard miles away in the city.
Many in Niarak witnessed the spectacular sight-the clouds that shrouded the mountains were cleared by Lord Valerian Nox!
Yes, they knew it had to be him, for no one else in Niarak possessed such terrifying power.
Layla Woods saw it too and immediately grew excited. Lord Valerian Nox was at the mountain peak!
This was the perfect opportunity to seek him as her master.
She would approach him with the utmost sincerity.
Layla Woods jumped into her red Ferrari and sped toward Jade Dragon Mountain…
“It’s done! Tomorrow, we’ll bring the Dragonsfire Cauldron and start forging the sword with the iron meteorite,” Flynn said, satisfied with the furnace he had built.
Molly George glanced at the half-bag of remaining pebbles and pouted. “There’s still so much left. You could’ve let me toss some back at the Shadowstream River.”
She suspected Flynn had done it on purpose. Just as she was about to curse him in her mind, Flynn seemed to sense it and smirked, “Are you cursing me in your heart again?”
“I’m upset.”
“No, no! Please don’t be!” Molly George quickly apologized, “Dear master, handsome master… I would never dare disrespect you. I’m honored to serve you. From now on, just tell me what to do, and I’ll do whatever you ask! I want to become a Great Grandmaster. I want to clear the sea of clouds like you do in three years! Please, help me!”
Harriet Hamilton couldn’t help but laugh at Molly George’s sudden change in demeanor.
“Flynn, don’t be so petty. Just help her,” Harriet Hamilton said.
“Stand still!” Flynn placed a firm hand on Molly George’s shoulder and began tapping several major acupoints on her back. A surge of spiritual energy flowed from Flynn’s fingers into her body.
The energy gathered in her energy core, and as it passed through her meridians, it felt as though her bones were being broken and remade. The pain was excruciating.
“Ahhh! It hurts so much! Can you go easier? Please, Flynn, lighter…” Molly George’s body broke out in goosebumps, tears streaming down her face as her mind reeled from the pain.
Flynn ignored her pleas and continued tapping. “It’s not me causing the pain. It’s the spiritual energy reshaping your meridians.”
Finally, after a series of intense strikes, Flynn stopped. Molly George collapsed to the ground, her body trembling uncontrollably as the pain lingered.
Flynn could do nothing about it. She had to endure this on her own.
Suddenly, a loud clap of thunder echoed, and rain began to pour down, drenching the earth in an instant.
The sky turned pitch black, and the thunder roared as if the earth itself were shaking.
Just as Scarlet Wong had predicted, a storm was coming.
Flynn had been so focused on building the furnace that he hadn’t noticed the dark clouds gathering over Niarak.
The rain came down in torrents, catching all three of them off guard.
They hadn’t expected the rain to come so quickly or so heavily.
“Take cover under the boulder!” Flynn scooped Molly George into his arms and ran towards the massive rock a hundred meters away.
Harriet Hamilton followed closely behind.
The rain was relentless, and their clothes were half-soaked.
The women’s once-neat attire now clung to their slender frames, accentuating their curves.
The wet fabric highlighted their delicate waists, making them look even more alluring.
“Such heavy rain!” Molly George groaned, looking up at the thick clouds.
Her body still ached, so she lay back on Flynn’s lap to ease the pain.
The rain poured down, large droplets splashing onto the ground and spraying onto the three of them.
Flynn couldn’t help but glance at Molly George’s chest, his eyes nearly popping out.
Her white shirt, damp from the rain, clung to her skin, revealing the outline of her ample bosom.
Even her black lace bra was visible, struggling to contain her curves.
“Hmm… it’s quite large…”
