Alicia’s POV.
Amelia had taken my phone as she scrolled through my Gmail in search of the mail I had gotten from Bohen’s bureau. She literally had access to everything that belonged to me, what was there to hide?
“You will be going for the interview during the weekend which is tomorrow. Don’t tell me you don’t plan to go, Amelia.” She scurried away as Madam Cass called her attention to one of the finely dressed Italian customers that just barged in with some of his classy looking friends and their ladies too who had this slender body shape of some runway models.
From their looks, I could tell they were some poorly trained kids of a wealthy family from around. I sighed as I looked away, trying so hard to ignore their noise that soon filled the bar. And the girls? I could tell already from the way they threw themselves on the guys that they had nothing serious, maybe just a fling.
She quickly took down their order as she returned back to the counter to get the tray all filled up with everything they had ordered.
I raised my head in an attempt to stare at them for the last time but then once again, I saw the least person I expected to be having lunch in our bar.
“What is he doing here again?” I scowled in panic as I rolled my eyes. “Don’t tell me he is stalking me!?” I sighed as I focused on the cups I was cleaning.
The moment he walked into the bar I felt this sudden coldness and I could feel my feet shaking. I slowly took my head up as I saw him approaching the counter. I trembled at the thought of him saying a word to me right now. “Why in God’s name is he heading towards my direction?” I winced as I tried my best not to lose my stance.
I could feel my heart racing speedily already.
“Hello?” He said in a calm voice as he now stood directly next to me. He stood up-close to the counter like he was about entering my body if the counter wasn’t there.
“Oh! Hello Mister!?” Amelia paused what she was doing as she answered him.
“Not you!!” He responded as he tapped the counter twice. “I’m talking to you, Alicia!!” He said this time around and I felt my heart flutter immediately. I wished the ground could just open and have me sinking in right now.
“What exactly does he want from me? Can’t he see that I am not interested in having anything to do with him? Why won’t he let me be already and stop stalking?” Different questions flooded my head as I slowly raised up my head.
“Was this going to be the biggest embarrassment of my entire life?”
“How did you know my name?” I propped up immediately the moment my eyes met with his. I was trying not to appear timid but then, I cursed myself as I stupidly asked how he knew my name and his answer did nothing but make me hate myself even more.
“Alicia C.” He replied after looking at me for a split minute with a grin on his face.
“Oh!” I chuckled as I lowered my head as I arranged my hair that had fallen to the right side of my face. “I completely forgot I had my crest on.” I said as I looked at him. “How can I be of help, Sir?” I asked in a formal manner as I looked at him.
“Logan. You can address me as Logan!!” He responded with a smile this time around. “I need some chips and chicken steak with iced tea.” He said as he looked at me.
“Okay, Sir…”
“Logan!!” He interrupted me immediately with a broad smile on his face. “I am just 18 years old and calling me sir makes me feel like some old jackals.” He chuckled softly as his right hand man or whoever he was walked up to him as he whispered into his ears and his smiley face immediately turned into a frown as he signaled his right hand man off with his fingers. That was him being a typical member of the Bohen’s family. He quickly brushed off whatever the man had told him.
I turned away to get his order ready and the moment I turned right back, he was gone but his masculine scent still filled the bar like he was still there and standing just right next to the counter.
“Huh?” I gasped out as I scanned the bar but he wasn’t there. “Where… where did he go to?” I stuttered as I stared at Amelia and I could tell as well that she also had no idea about his sudden disappearance.
“He was just here a minute ago!” She responded as she also looked round the bar as well. “Oh! A note.” She said as she picked up a white note from the floor.
I opened it as I blushed but then, it was followed by a frown as I still couldn’t get why his sudden interest in me.
“Did he just give you his order as a treat?” Amelia scorned jealously as she looked at me. “I thought you said you had nothing to do with him? Then why did he just leave his order for you?” She queried as she tilted her lips again.
“Okay, you can have it if that is what you want.” I said as I pushed the tray over to her.
He had left the note with a hundred dollar note, also leaving his change as well with me. I furrowed my brows as uneasiness stepped in as I looked at the now vacant spot where his vehicle was parked a few minutes ago.
“Why me? What does he want from me?”

“You shouldn’t have done it!!” The man, dressed in a black jacket, pierced the dagger right through Liam’s chest as he fell to the ground as blood bubbled up.
Liam clenched the arm of the young man as his eyes went wild. “L…” He exhaled as tears rolled down his cheeks before he blacked out.
