Logan’s Point Of View
I couldn’t stop thinking about the girl from school and I happened to want to see her every single moment. I relapsed on the bed as I kept on scrolling through my phone.
“Is she even on any social media?” I scowled as I couldn’t find anything about her.
I was curious. I couldn’t understand why the sudden attraction. Never have I been this attracted to someone before, so why her? I still remember looking at her multicolored eyes. I felt lost in them. But one thing was obvious, and that was, “she was like us. She was a werewolf too.”
“Good morning, young master. Your breakfast is ready.” Othello mumbled as he walked into my room.
I got up from the edge of my table as I walked down to my wardrobe, as I picked up a white turtleneck top and well-ironed blue trousers and then, a thick blue jean jacket.
I rushed inside the bathroom as I showered, and I quickly got dressed as I got ready to leave. Othello stood right next to the door entrance as he watched me get dressed up.
“I won’t be eating here.” I said as I rolled my eyes.
“Why won’t you join us? I had them prepare your favorite French toast, Logan.” My mother mumbled as I walked past the dining table.
“I don’t feel like eating. I have something very important to get done, maybe when I’m back.” I said with a smile as we stepped out.
“We are going back to that restaurant. I want to have my breakfast there. I don’t want anything or anyone to ruin my breakfast.” I scowled as I walked away and Othello? He followed me closely, and then we drove down to the restaurant.
Alicia’s Point Of View.
“Hey? Look, Logan is here.” Amelia said as she poked my right hand, causing me to raise my head as I saw him approaching the door.
“Why was he here again today?” I cursed as I rolled my eyes. “Is he actually trying to stalk me? Why won’t he just let me be?” I sneered.
“How long does he expect me to cope with the way he looks at me? I wouldn’t lie he was beginning to make me nervous, but then, I still had my doubts. I hated the Bohen’s. They were only concerned about themselves, they were ruthless werewolves who could do anything to get what they wanted.” I frowned as I lowered my head.
“Hello?” I heard a masculine voice and I clenched the hem of my gown as I raised my head slowly.
“Good day, sir!!” I greeted him as I wore a straight face. “What do you want?” I asked as I brought out a small black note to take down his order.
“I just want some French toast.” He said briefly as he maintained his eye contact with me.
“Okay, sir. I’ll bring it to your table in the next three minutes.” I responded as I forced out a smile, as Madam Cassie stepped into the bar.
“Good morning, Madam Cassie.” We chorused as she walked in. She reciprocated our smile before walking to her office.
I quickly served him his order as I returned to the counter to continue taking orders from other customers.
“I heard that light growling sound as I raised my head to look at one of the workers that had stepped on him.
He gave the waiter a deadly glare and I could feel his eyes piercing right through me. I watched how the waiter trembled and, without saying a single word, he fell down on his knees as he began begging.
“Please spare me!! I promise it won’t ever repeat itself again, sir!!” The waiter trembled as he pleaded.
Logan got up as he walked away, saying nothing. I returned to the desk, and he left a two hundred dollar note in between the cup and the tea cup plate. He didn’t even have a taste of the French toast.
“Does every Bohen family member have to be this annoying and arrogant everytime?” I cursed as I cleared the table.
“Have you ever thought about why he is interested in the restaurant now?” Amelia asked as she did the dishes.
We were almost done for the day and after the dishes, we were free to go home.
“How is that my business?” I scowled as I looked at her. ” I told you I can’t have anything to do with them.” I cursed this time around.
“Haven’t you noticed the way he looks at you even during school hours?” Amelia muttered as she paused for a while as she looked at me.
“How do you expect me to know?” I scowled.
“Well, I think he really likes you. Remember when you tripped? Didn’t you see how he quickly caught you from falling? And also, when you bump into him as well. He was never provoked, he didn’t even give you that dirty glare they always give or just like how he was provoked when the waiter stepped on him earlier today.” She said as she maintained her eye contact with me.
“Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I am not interested in his affection. All I’m interested in is having good grades and paying for my rent, which is already a month due. I can’t afford to get thrown out and be homeless.” I chuckled as I joined her in getting the dishes done.
She dropped me off at my place before leaving after we were done with the assignment their Biology teacher had given them.
My phone had beeped, and I quickly opened my phone to see a text message from the last place I had ever imagined I would get called to for an interview. My eyes went wild as I jolted up from my back as I opened my laptop to go through all the application letters I had submitted within the past two months.
“But how possible is it?
” I groaned as I knew I had never submitted my application there. “Who could be behind this?” I shrugged.
