Reyna’s POV
“Who are you and what are you doing here? Who the hell are you?” I screamed, his eyes took in the wolf’s bane and silver blade which lined the walls. I’m sure he must be very glad.
He walked deeper into the room, his eyes scanning me from head to toe. “I’m sorry I didn’t get to introduce myself earlier on when you were brought in. I am Alpha Damon. I am sure my name rings a bell.” A little smug covered his face as his eyes bore holes into every nook and cranny of my body.
“Our wedding is coming up in a few days and I want you to be in the very best condition which is suitable for a bride. I wouldn’t want people thinking I’m maltreating my Bride although running away from your father, you should serve some punishment but I’m going to tell you this I’m a very generous alpha and husband so I will let go and I will let it slide.”
I laughed really hard and stood up from the bed “so tell me something Alpha should I thank you or perhaps I should delete your shoes because that’s what you would want right?” I asked. I knew I was pushing his buttons. I knew I was getting into something that could be very dangerous for me but I didn’t care.
“you are pushing your luck, do not test my patience.” He whispered.
“What if I do what are you going to do about it I asked and he laughed out working closer to me as his eyes turned the darker I noticed the veins on his hand growing out profitely and turning green but in a twinkle of an eye everything stopped and a return back to normal.
“Then I don’t have to tell you that the lives of Jake and John are in your hands depending on how you react towards me that how long they’re going to live.”
“What do you mean?” I asked, clearly not understanding what he’s trying to say.
“I mean I’ll finish your alpha lovers in a twinkle of an eye if you try anything stupid and I mean it.” Venom laced his voice, I couldn’t even find an atom of lie in his words, he meant everything he Just said.
“Why are you interested in me? Why not someone else, a higher werewolf or a tribrid, why me?” I asked and he laughed walking over to the door.
“How did you manage to convince my father, what should I say, how did you brainwash him to give me to you as a wife? You threatened him right?” I asked and he shook his head and smiled.
“I do not sugar coat things so I’m going to tell you the way it is but your father gave you to me for a little price and that’s the truth.” I staggered, shaking my head as tears welled up in my eyes.
“You’re lying, that’s not the truth.” I whispered but he groaned and walked back to the door.
“I do not console, so don’t cry, your tears are just gonna go to waste.”
“I do not need you to console me!” I fired, wiping the tears with the back of my palm.
“I’m never gonna get married to you, I’d rather die!” I spat out but he only chuckled.
“No you won’t die, you’ll die in my hands, in my arms, when I’m done having my revenge and trust me it won’t be nice.” With that, he walked out, locking the door.

Marcus POV
“You just let him keep your daughter, a girl you have been searching for for the past couple of months?” I asked as Jacob took his seat opposite mine. Sally poured some red wine into the wine glasses on the table.
“What did you expect me to do, fight him off or create a scene right there and have my head cut off from my neck? You know how reckless he is. If we are going to get her out of there and do whatever we want with her we have to lay low and act like we are on his side.”
“I totally agree with what he just said. According to him the wedding will be coming up in a few days so I think it’s enough time to send in some guards to help him with the arrangements. If possible we can send in some maid to help in their arrangement and also to monitor and know the in and out of the place.” Sally said.
“That’s fine by me all I want is to sell her out to a bigger and better buyer. I should put her up for an auction. What do you think?” Jacob asked as I shook my head and smiled.
“You really think the alpha she stayed with all this while is as stupid as your guards? They will search for her everywhere and they will make sure they get her. Can you imagine what will happen to you when they find out her father sold her out?” I asked but he only laughed and looked at me.
“That’s why she’s not my daughter. I have everything in check and no one, not even any Alpha will do or say anything concerning it.” I furrowed my brows in confusion, shaking my head, “what do you mean?”I asked.
“It’s very simple, she’s the daughter of my late wife, the daughter of my wife’s lover, I hope you get it now and I hope you understand what I’m trying to say. Her mother betrayed me and now she has to suffer the consequences of that action.”
“But she never asked for any of this. It just happened and it happened before she was born so why are you taking it out on her?” I asked and he turned to look at me, his eyes turning black but I didn’t feel intimidated, at least not yet.
“After giving birth to her I found out my wife cheated on me and I was willing to forgive her but do you know what I found out next?” He asked and I wasn’t expecting the shocker I heard.
The silence stretched for some time; only our breathing could be heard.
“I didn’t tell her I already found out I just wanted a child of my own and guess what I found out it’s turns out she had been taking contraceptives to get rid of my children, and now she had a complication wish hindered her from having any other children so I got stuck with another man’s child so tell me am I wrong for selling her out?” He asked as I sighed, not knowing what to say.
