“You have no right to interfere!”
“Kissed?” Johnny’s gaze fell on her lips. “Or got laid?”
Tilda refused to back down, gritting her teeth in defiance.
“I slept with him! He’s more mature than you, better than you, more skilled in bed, and a thousand times gentler than you!”
She had no idea how much damage that sentence could do to a man.
“Alright.”
Johnny took out his phone and dialed a number with one hand.
The other end quickly picked up, “Mr. Chow! We’re in the ambulance. Don’t worry!”
“Steve, have that guy castrated.”
Tilda panicked immediately. “Johnny, I was lying! We never had anything, not even a kiss. This is our first meeting. We just had a meal together!”
Johnny glanced at Tilda and then chuckled as he relented. “Forget it, Steve. Just take good care of him even though he tried to steal my woman.”
Seeing him hang up the phone, Tilda finally breathed a sigh of relief.
“So worried about him, huh?”
“I truly regret provoking a lunatic like you!” She cursed herself for being blind, only infatuated with his looks without considering the consequences.
Tilda had thought Johnny was someone who could handle it!
“Well, there’s no turning back now.” Johnny walked to his car and shoved her inside. “Be good and come with me.”
“I don’t want to! I want to go home!”
“Go home? Do you think I don’t know what you’re thinking? You’re probably planning to go straight to the hospital to see that man once you leave me, right?”
“I’m not going. I’m really going home, okay?”
Tilda pounded on the car window, but it was a Rolls-Royce… there was no way she could break the glass!
Johnny locked the doors and drove towards his place.
Even he himself didn’t realize that his irritable mood from the entire day vanished once Tilda got into the car.

Late at night, Rosalind tiptoed out of bed after Ulric fell asleep.
She first went to check on the two children, making sure they were sound asleep and properly covered with blankets before she felt relieved.
Whether it was due to jet lag or too much sleep on the plane, Rosalind couldn’t fall asleep despite lying in bed for a long time.
She went to the living room and turned on her computer, intending to take over the work Cedric hadn’t finished.
This was originally her task. Cedric had only taken over due to an emergency.
Considering that Ulric had gone for so long and she had given Cedric so much extra work, Cedric must be exhausted these days.
As soon as she logged in, she saw Cedric’s account still online!
Rosalind typed a message and sent it over. “Cedric, you should rest now. I’ll handle the remaining work.”
“Miss Ruell, you haven’t slept yet?” Cedric replied almost instantly.
“Yeah, can’t sleep because of jet lag. Might as well work on the files! You go rest. You have work tomorrow.”
Cedric didn’t argue further. He was indeed very tired. “Alright then, I’ll go sleep. Don’t overdo it. Rest if you get tired. I’ll find time to finish it tomorrow.”
“Okay, thank you!”
She closed the chat window with Cedric and noticed her phone lighting up from the corner of her eye.
It was a text message.
“You’re back in Northville City?”
The message came from an unrecognized number filled with random characters. She knew it was from B7 without needing to think.
“Yes, I’m back. How did you know?”
A moment later, another message came through. “Your phone’s IP is in Easthaven Bay.”
