Chapter 828: Why Did You Provoke Him?

Envy was inevitable.
If they were women, they would have no hesitation in asking for opening up their meridians on their backs, just like Faith Mccarth.
After all, opportunities to improve their martial arts skills were rare.
Who wouldn’t want to make a name for themselves during the military region competition and bring great honor to their family?
Moreover, in their eyes, Flynn was their idol, almost a deity!
Who wouldn’t want to be his girlfriend?
Inside the potion storage room, the curtains were drawn, and the lighting was soft.
Faith Mccarth sat in the warm tub, only her delicate shoulders visible above the water.
A hint of shyness crossed her face as she gently splashed water over herself.
Her skin was as smooth and fair as fine porcelain, reflecting the shimmering light on the water’s surface, resembling a delicate white lotus flower.
Her cheeks were slightly flushed, her eyes downcast, her expression bashful and gentle.
Suddenly, the door swung open, and Flynn walked in.
Faith Mccarth, with her back to the door, felt a slight tremor run through her body. She bit her lip nervously and lowered her head shyly.
The mist in the room enveloped her, caressing her fair skin.
As Flynn approached her from behind, his brows furrowed slightly. Although Faith Mccarth was facing away from him, revealing only her shoulders, the hint of her curves beneath the rosy water was enough to make any man’s heart race.
“Mr. Clark, do you want me to show a bit more?” Faith Mccarth slowly turned her head, her voice tight with nervousness and shyness.
Flynn chuckled, shaking his head. “No need. Just stay with your back to me. And this is an herbal bath. Simply soaking is enough. Why are you scrubbing yourself?”
“Ah? I didn’t know,” Faith Mccarth replied, her face growing even redder. Pouting, she complained, “You didn’t say anything earlier. I thought, um…”
Just as she was speaking, Flynn’s hand landed on her smooth back.
At that moment of contact, she let out a soft, pleasurable sound that made Flynn raise an eyebrow.
As Flynn continued to open up her meridians, Faith Mccarth’s soft hums echoed in the room.
Flynn couldn’t help but feel a bit exasperated.
“Hey, keep it down! Otherwise, those guys outside might think we’re doing something inappropriate,” he thought, though the sounds were undeniably pleasant-arguably the most beautiful sounds to any man.
It was no surprise that Faith Mccarth reacted like this. The herbal bath was designed to open pores and accelerate the absorption of the liquid, and the comfort level was ten times greater than a massage.
“Get dressed and head to the playground.”
Finally, after a series of humming sounds, Flynn finished his work.
When he opened the door, he found twenty pairs of eyes staring at him in anticipation.
They were practically holding their breath.
A few were still grinning foolishly.
When Flynn suddenly stepped out, everyone nearly jumped out of their tubs in shock.
They quickly turned their heads and submerged themselves, bubbling up in the water.
“All of you will train for an extra three hours tonight. Now get dressed and head to the playground!” Flynn announced as he left the therapy room.
This left Clayton Robinson and the others wailing, paying a heavy price for their curiosity.
At the playground.
“Mr. Davies, don’t blame me for being straightforward, but the Edge Facility is indeed too chaotic compared to other bases.”
“Military vehicles are haphazardly parked, tanks are just left anywhere, and no one has cleaned up the fallen branches. This is hardly what a military unit should look like,” Mike Clark remarked while waiting for Clayton Robinson and the others, casually inspecting the area.
The more he looked, the more he felt Blade Special Forces lacked discipline.
The Edge Facility looked like a junkyard.
He couldn’t understand what Blade Special Forces was doing. With such loose management, what kind of subordinates could they train?
Brandon Pearce merely smiled and didn’t respond.
This was the result of Flynn helping Clayton Robinson and the others improve their martial skills, causing their energies to explode simultaneously.
They had intended to clean up, but Mike Clark was coming, and with the upcoming squad competitions, it was better to leave things as they were.
If Mike Clark wanted to act high and mighty, it was fine. Brandon Pearce had no intention of explaining anything.
Once Blade Special Forces showcased their strength, he would eat his words.
Just then, Flynn walked over with Clayton Robinson and the others.
Mike Clark noticed Flynn, his brows furrowing as he pointed at him. “Mr. Davies, what is this person doing at the Edge Facility?”
“Is he the chief instructor of Blade Special Forces?”
Billy Calder proudly replied, “That’s right! Flynn is the chief instructor of Blade Special Forces this year!”
“Hahaha-” Mike Clark burst into laughter. “Looks like I wasn’t wrong. Mr. Davies, you still can’t find a respectable chief instructor this year.”
“Ah! What a pity, Mr. Davies. If you had just accepted the third elder’s proposal back then, you wouldn’t be in this situation now!”
Everyone in Blade Special Forces was taken aback, confused by Mike Clark’s insinuations.
What did he mean by not finding a respectable chief Instructor?
Was someone at the Greater Sovereign level not good enough?
He must be crazy!
Ignoring the bewildered reactions, Mike Clark sneered coldly at Flynn.
“Blade Special Forces’ chief instructor? A person under Adam Davies? Not bad! Is that why you have the nerve to stand up to me at the Kaur family?”
In his view, Flynn’s position as chief instructor stemmed from two reasons. First, he wanted to gain prestige by associating with the military, and second, he sought to befriend Adam Davies to make connections with more generals.
He believed Flynn wanted to use their backing to challenge the Clark family.
“Flynn, oh Flynn, do you know Adam Davies is struggling to keep himself afloat? How can he help you? Even if Adam Davies liked you very much, would he dare to take on the Clark family for you? And even if, for some unlikely reason, he did help you, given his strength, the Clark family wouldn’t fear a thing! Flynn, you underestimate the power of the Clark family! Your plan won’t work! When the true strength of the Clark family is revealed, all that awaits you is despair! An ant can never shake the heavens, kid. Just accept your fate! Haha…” Mike Clark sneered inwardly.
“Flynn, don’t struggle. It’s useless. Since your father wants you back to the Clark family, seize this opportunity.”
“Otherwise, despair is all that awaits you.” Mike Clark shook his head at Flynn, his mocking smile only growing more pronounced.
“What’s going on?” Commander Adam Davies quietly asked Brandon Pearce.
Brandon Pearce’s expression turned serious as he explained the situation to Adam Davies.
He knew about Flynn’s deep-seated issues with the Clark family and how it was a matter of life and death.
He also understood Flynn’s temperament. If a fight was unavoidable, Flynn wouldn’t care about anyone’s status-he’d either kill or seriously injure his opponent.
Now that Mike Clark was provoking him, the outcome would likely be dire.
Why stir up trouble? Wasn’t he digging his own grave?
Flynn coldly smirked, his expression icy. “My confidence doesn’t come from anyone but myself!”
“Oh?” Mike Clark’s eyes narrowed as he stepped into the training ground, provocatively challenging Flynn. “Alright! Let’s see what you’ve got!”
He was growing impatient with Flynn’s stubbornness and decided it was time for Flynn to understand what despair truly meant-what it felt like for an ant to shake the heavens!
“Alright!” Flynn’s lips curled into a menacing smile, his eyes filled with murderous intent. “If it weren’t for my concern about scaring Uncle Matteo, I would have taught you a lesson long ago at the Kaur family.”
“Since we’ve crossed paths again today, I’ll make sure you experience the treatment of Ignatius Clark, and you’ll leave half your life in Niarak!”
