At this moment, Monica was also on her way to the hospital. Tristan was driving, and she sat in the passenger seat, leaving a message for Danielle and giving her Taylor’s phone number. She told Danielle that Taylor was already on his way to pick her up at the airport and mentioned Taylor’s profession and identity.
At 11 o’clock, the plane landed and began to decelerate on the runway. The girl turned to look out the window, seemingly in a good mood. Was the person picking her up a doctor? That profession certainly carried its own allure.
Taylor’s car had been parked outside the airport for a while. He occasionally checked his watch, estimating the time it would take for the plane to come to a complete stop and for passengers to disembark. The large white plane came to a halt, and the cabin door opened.
Passengers orderly disembarked with their luggage. Danielle appeared among them, carrying a pink suitcase. She was petite and alone, wearing a black bucket hat, black boots, a black pleated skirt that revealed her slender legs, and a fashionable loose white sweater. Her figure was excellent-petite and cute-with a beautifully made-up face, especially her big eyes adorned with aegyo-sal makeup that sparkled like clear spring water.
She held her suitcase in one hand and her phone in the other, reading Monica’s message as she walked. A doctor was coming to pick her up? Her brother? That must be one of the princes of Lu Layeka.
Understanding these messages, Danielle couldn’t help but smile. It seemed she was very fortunate today to have a prince picking her up! She couldn’t quite understand why someone would give up being a prince to become a doctor. What kind of passion and dedication must that take?
But she didn’t think too much about it; having someone pick her up was enough. So she dialed the number Monica gave her, and it connected quickly. “Hello, is this Taylor?”
“Yes.”
“Hello, I’m Danielle, Monica’s friend,” she said sweetly.
“I’m here. What are you wearing? Do you have any distinctive features? Describe yourself,” Taylor asked as he got out of the car. He stood by the flowerbed, scanning the people coming out of the airport for someone on their phone.
On the phone, Danielle described her outfit for the day briefly. Soon enough, Taylor spotted her-a girl dragging a pink suitcase while talking on her phone. He quickly walked towards her, still on the call. “I see you,” he said, waving.
Danielle saw him immediately as well. She hung up and walked quickly towards him. Taylor’s good looks were striking even in a crowd; he left a positive first impression on Danielle.
“Hello, I’m Taylor,” he said as he took her suitcase from her hand. “The car is over there; please follow me.”
“Hello, I’m Danielle. Thank you so much for today,” she replied.
Wearing high heels, she walked with him towards the car. Her boots were also eye-catching. “Monica told me she had to go for a prenatal checkup. I didn’t expect her to come pick me up anyway. When she knew I was coming, she insisted on finding someone to pick me up.”
“It’s safer for a young girl like you to have someone meet you,” Taylor said as he placed her suitcase in the trunk and opened the passenger door for her. “Get in.”
Danielle hesitated for a moment with a smile on her face and asked awkwardly, “Is it okay?”
“What’s wrong?” Taylor was puzzled, not understanding what she meant by ‘okay.’ He had been arranged to pick her up and had done so; what could be inconvenient about that?
Danielle’s big eyes sparkled as she smiled slightly. “Isn’t the passenger seat usually reserved for girlfriends?”
