The next morning, training began at 6 AM. As usual, I showed up in my training gear-a sports bra under my tank top and spandex under my shorts with my Nikes. I had my hair pulled up into a bun on top of my head so my hair was out of the way.
Beta Mason had the she-wolves off to the side so we could train separately this morning. He also told me that his head trainer Clark would be back from an unexpected emergency on Thursday. I showed the she-wolves some basic moves which they mastered easily. Then, I showed them a move that I found to be very useful in fighting males or females. I told them tomorrow I would show them a few of my own moves that I created for myself to even the playing field.
The training was fun. I enjoyed the workout this morning, I just wish I had Melissa with me so I could show them our moves. Note to self, ask if Danny can assist me tomorrow morning.
We met back up with the Delta in his office at 9 to begin again with him. Danny and I made a great team working with Delta Myles. This allowed me the opportunity to work on my regular work reports and not fall behind.
Tuesday night, the group decided we would hang out in the recreation room and play cards while listening to music. Some played video games, others played cards, and some listened to music and danced. It was a lot of fun.
I watched a group playing poker. Danny was playing when a particular song came on. “Danny, dance with me,” I pleaded. “Please!” I begged him.
“Oh, all right, come on. Deal me out,” he told them.
When we were in high school, we did a dance routine for the song Footloose for Talent Night and every once in a while, I just can’t help myself. I want to dance with my brother to this song. When we finished, everyone applauded us. They were hooting and howling their appreciation.
“That was fantastic,” Beta Mason exclaimed as he approached us.
“Thanks,” Danny and I chorused together.
“We performed the dance at our high school Talent Show-Talent Night, sorry, during our Junior year. Every once in a while I just feel the need to dance to the song,” I explained as I hugged my brother to thank him for dancing with me.
“You both looked really good dancing together,” complimented Stacey at us as the others were agreeing with her. “Girl, you’ve got some moves.”
“Thank you. I don’t do a lot of dancing, but when I do it’s usually with my Dad or Danny for obvious reasons,” I explained to Stacey.
“Your brother said you don’t date. How come? Why wouldn’t you date until you meet your mate?” Stacey asked me point blank.
“It’s just something I’ve never done. I wouldn’t want to … I just want my mate to know that HE was worth waiting for-he would be my first everything-date, kiss, everything,” I shyly explained with a blush covering my cheeks.
“You’ve never been kissed before?” Stacey incredulously asked me.
“My Dad and brother are the only ones who have ever kissed me. They have kissed me on the cheek, temple, or forehead. No other male has kissed me, especially on the lips,” I clarified to her.
“What about me?” Anderson asked like he wasn’t important anymore.
“What about you? You know I consider you part of my family so you don’t count. Besides, you are mated to one of my best friends from high school,” I corrected him.
“Yeah, but …” he tried to correct me.
“But what Anderson! Even though you had a crush on me when we were young. I still saw you only as a brother growing up. You always hung out at our house with Daniel. We have always included you in our family events. You are a part of our family. You are my brother. I love you almost as much as I do Daniel. End of story,” I declared to Anderson.
“Okay, so I forgot about Anderson who is one of my guards. My point, Danny, NO MALE has kissed me on the lips before. Not even you. Why do you have to be so frustrating?” I growled suddenly very annoyed with my brother.
“Don’t growl at me. I was just reminding you that someone other than Dad and myself has kissed you. So, nah!” Danny said sounding like the spoiled little brat he was.
“Whatever Danny. I’m going to bed on that note. I’m done with this conversation. Thank you Danny for ruining my mood. Good night everyone,” I sadly stated as I went to walk out of the rec room.
“Don’t leave. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to upset you,” Stacey began as she tried to prevent me from leaving. “I just didn’t believe it when your brother told me about it. I’m sorry.”
“No worries Stacey. I really do need to go. I need to leave before I break down in front of everyone,” I whispered softly so only she could hear me.
“I get it. Go on. I’ll see you at training in the morning,” Stacey replied while she gave me a hug.
“Bye,” I mumbled and left the room.
I flew up the stairs with Danny hot on my heels. When we entered the suite, Danny tried to apologize for what happened in the rec room.
“Danny, stop. Just stop, right now! Leave me alone. Okay? You are being super annoying right now. Just don’t bother or speak to me right now. Can you handle that?” I questioned my brother.
“Yeah, I can handle that,” Danny sighed as he walked away from me.
Dad didn’t say anything to us about what he just saw. He knew better than to get between the two of us when we had our sibling spats. By the time I got to my room, I had a headache. This was not how I wanted to end my evening.
The next day went by without any problems. The evening was spent with us hanging out once again in the rec room watching a baseball game. The game was intense because it had the feel of the playoffs. We all didn’t get to bed until late.
