Before she could think of what to do next, the door swung open…
___
Morticia gasped. With a swift movement, she pulled the duvet over Klaus, sitting up and grinning awkwardly at her mother.
“Hey, Mom,” she breathed, wondering if her mother had caught her sudden movement.
Klaus stirred beneath the duvet, and Morticia quickly pinned his head down. Her mind raced, concerned that she might have hurt him. She heard him groan softly.
“What are you doing here, Mom?” Morticia raised her voice, hoping to distract her mother. Klaus seemed to catch on and stopped moving.
“Uhh…” Ava frowned, her eyes still heavy with sleep. “I was just wondering if you were home,” she gasped.
“Yeah… I was so tired when I got back. Sorry I didn’t wake you,” Morticia chuckled awkwardly, her eyes darting to Klaus, still covered, and then back to her mother.
“What’s that?” Ava’s brow furrowed, settling on the bulge beside Morticia. A chill ran down Morticia’s spine.
“What?” she feigned innocence.
Klaus shifted, seeming to want to emerge from the duvet, but Morticia wasn’t ready for that.
“Stay put,” she hushed, keeping her voice low. Klaus stopped moving.
“What did you say?” Ava asked, her curiosity piqued.
An idea sparked in Morticia’s mind. “Teddy bear… it’s my teddy bear.”
“Teddy?” Ava blinked, and Morticia nodded vigorously. “I thought you had one before? This one looks a little bigger. Did you just buy it? Why are you covering it?”
Under the duvet, Klaus was trying hard not to laugh. It wouldn’t kill him to reveal himself-Ava was going to find out anyway-but seeing Morticia trying to cover up the situation was adorable.
“I… just want to,” Morticia stammered, but her mother said nothing, just continued to stare. “Can I sleep now? I’m so tired, and you should stop sleepwalking. You watch too many movies.”
“Alright, alright… I’ll leave. Goodnight, sweetie.”
As the door shut behind Ava, Morticia let out a deep breath of relief. She quickly got out of bed and locked her door, exhaling another sigh of relief.
Her eyes met Klaus’s, the duvet now gone. He stared at her with an amused expression.
“Well, that was so f***ing fun,” he said in a hoarse voice, putting his hands behind his head as he lay back.
“Fun? You call that fun? We were almost caught!” Morticia whispered, as if her mother were still in the room.
“She’ll find out soon enough… get to know your new teddy bear.”
“Stop… this is not funny,” she said, sweeping her hair back and realizing she was sweating. The thought of her mother meeting her and Klaus, wrapped up together, was overwhelming.
“Yes, it is. Damn, it was so hard not to laugh. You were adorable.”
For a moment, she smiled, but it quickly vanished.
“We can’t let them know about us yet… not like this,” she clarified.
“Okay. Teddy needs some hugs now,” Klaus teased.
“No, you’re sleeping on the floor,” she replied, heading to the dresser.
“No, I’m not. You’ve locked the door already; she’s not coming back. Don’t tell me you think she might fly in through the window,” he teased again.
“Klaus-” she spun to face him. He was sitting up, gazing at her. Her words faltered as her mind focused on how attractive he looked at that moment.
“Come here,” he said in a low voice. As if hypnotized, she stepped closer. His hand held hers, and she felt the familiar warmth of his touch.
“Do you know how beautiful you are?” he whispered, his words catching her off guard. Morticia’s heart skipped a beat, her pulse quickening. He called her beautiful.
“Are you saying this just so you can sleep on the bed?” she whispered. He smiled.
“No,” he said, his voice low. “I mean it… I can sleep on the floor if you still want me to.”
“No, I don’t,” she replied more quickly than she intended. “I was just overwhelmed,” she added, her cheeks flushing red.
Klaus let her sit on his lap, her legs on either side of him, their faces inches apart, breaths mingling as they locked eyes.
“Wrap your arms around me, Bunnie,” he whispered, and she obliged.
“Klaus, my mom-”
“She’s asleep,” he cut in. “You just need to keep your voice down… you caused this. I’m craving you,” he accused, and Morticia raised an eyebrow.
“How?” Her voice was low; his gaze made her feel so warm.
“I don’t know, Bunnie. I don’t know what you’re doing to me,” he admitted, his fingers trailing up her back to the side of her head before he kissed her.
It was slow and gentle as they savored each other’s lips. Klaus pulled away, breathing heavily.
“Are you okay?” she asked, noticing how his face contorted in discomfort.
“Let’s go to bed,” he whispered, knowing that if he continued, he might decide to make her moan so fucking loud with what was going on on his head. It would alert Ava.
“Klaus…” she called, her voice trembling as she swallowed. “You’re…” She glanced down at his bulge, and only then did Klaus realize he was hard.
“Don’t worry about it,” he said, his voice strained. “Not today, okay?”
“Can’t I help?”
Klaus let out a low grunt. Damn it. She was driving him insane. His chest heaved. “Bunnie-”
“I did it once; I can do it again. I don’t like seeing you struggle,” she said, her eyes innocent yet inviting. It stirred something in him, something he wanted to explore, but not now.
“Your mouth,” he said, staring at her parted lips.
“Huh?”
“Could you use your-fuck. Get to bed. I need to use the bathroom,” he whispered, getting up and leaving her stunned on the bed as he headed to the bathroom.
“What’s with him?” Morticia mumbled, Klaus’s words echoing in her mind. Her mouth… she didn’t quite understand. She heard the shower running.
She wondered what had come over her, boldly asking to help him out. He had done things to her, felt things she wanted to return. She might be inexperienced, but she was ready to learn, and she knew Klaus was trying not to rush things with her.
Klaus grunted as he released himself, breathing hard as his wetness sprawled over him. He had just jerked off, imagining Morticia’s lips wrapped around him, gazing up with those big brown eyes.
It took all his willpower not to shove himself into her mouth, wanting to see her gag and choke until tears streamed down her cheeks. Especially after she had offered to help him.
But he was scared he might be too rough on her. She was fragile, and he feared she might break under his pressure.
It might scare her away.
Wait. Klaus, what had come over you? The guy who took girls without permission was now being considerate. He could feel himself changing, and he didn’t want to lose that.
He found Morticia sitting on her bed, waiting.
“Are you okay?” she asked.
“Hm,” he nodded. “Let’s sleep now.” They lay down, and he drew her close, shutting his eyes and suppressing his urges.
His body still felt hot, especially with her by his side.
Great. It would take a long time before he could get any sleep.

Valerie paused before the office door, never imagining she would step foot inside this place. But she had no choice.
After swallowing hard, she knocked twice and heard a female voice invite her in.
As she entered, her gaze settled on the counselor. The woman adjusted her glasses and offered a reassuring smile.
“Have a seat, young lady,” she gestured.
Valerie set down her bag and sank into one of the chairs. She had never thought she would need counseling, but at this moment, everything felt overwhelming.
For three weeks, she had blamed it on stress, but last night? Last night, she had a strange dream.
“What is your name?” the counselor asked.
“Do I have to say it? I just need advice, or maybe you can tell me what the hell is going on with me,” Valerie replied, her tone sharper than intended. She knew she sounded rude, but she wasn’t here to be polite.
The woman remained unfazed, still smiling. “Go on, tell me.”
“Well-” Valerie began, her voice tightening. “I had this weird dream. I hated it, and I never want it to happen again.”
The counselor nodded slowly, her expression calm, as if she had encountered similar situations many times before. She leaned forward, her gaze warm and encouraging.
“Dreams often reveal things we try to bury. They reflect our inner fears, hidden desires, and sometimes serve as warnings,” she said gently.
Valerie swallowed, still hesitant. “This one felt… different. It wasn’t like any other dream I’ve had.” She paused, shuddering as the memory resurfaced. “It was so vivid… like it was real.”
The counselor tilted her head, studying Valerie. “Can you tell me what happened in the dream?”
“I can’t… I just don’t like it,” Valerie clenched her jaw. “I hate the feelings that creep in around her.”
“Who?” the counselor asked.
“A friend… a friend I barely know,” Valerie mumbled.
“Can you describe these feelings?” the woman prompted, her gaze focused yet gentle. Her expression seemed to encourage honesty.
“It’s like… I don’t really know. I get angry seeing her with any guy. It’s stupid because I want to be around her all the time. I’ve never felt this way before, especially not about a… a girl.” Her voice faltered, and she looked away, feeling heat rise to her cheeks.
The counselor leaned back, folding her hands in her lap. “Have you considered that maybe this friend-this connection-is important? Perhaps it’s not something to hate or resist?”
Valerie shook her head. “I don’t know… it just feels wrong. She doesn’t even know me that well, and I’m obsessing over her. It’s like I’m losing control.”
“Val…”
“What can I do to stop it?” Valerie interrupted, exasperated by the vague advice. “That’s why I’m here…”
