“Really?!” Rhea exclaimed in the library when Morticia told her about Sienna’s situation.
“Shh… we’re in the library,” Morticia hushed her.
Rhea cleared her throat, stifling a laugh. “Oh gosh, that’s hilarious. She left Vincent because he was too good, and now she’s with a man who’s too bad. Definitely her type.”
They both chuckled, and Rhea’s face turned serious.
“How’s it going with Klaus?” she asked quietly.
Morticia’s face reddened slightly as she leaned in close. “Promise you won’t shout.”
Rhea blinked. “Did he do something to hurt you? Did he yell at you? Tell me, and I’ll go right now and smack my book in his face…”
“No,” Morticia cut in. “That’s not it… the thing is…” Morticia then whispered the rest into Rhea’s ear, each word making Rhea’s eyes widen more.
“What??!!!!” Rhea shrieked, her voice echoing the whole library.
A moment later, they were both pushed out of the library by the security guard.
“I’m so sorry,” Morticia apologized, bowing as the guard shook his head and returned inside.
“You promised not to shout,” Morticia glared at Rhea.
“I didn’t… but sorry,” Rhea pouted, her eyes lighting up. “No way he asked you out! Ah! I’m so happy!” Rhea stomped her feet in excitement.
“Stop overreacting,” Morticia rolled her eyes.
“My bestie is finally with her long-time crush. Wait… hope he’s not planning to hurt you again.”
“No,” Morticia shook her head, smiling as she recalled the previous night.
“… If I don’t treat you right… if I hurt you… please let me know…”
His words echoed in her mind. A bright smike crepton her face. “He seems serious this time.”
“Aww… and here I am, left in singlehood,” Rhea faked a sniffle.
“Tsk… let’s go find somewhere quiet to read. You just got us kicked out of the library. Exams are around the corner,” Morticia snapped, her serious look returning.
“Alright.” Rhea wrapped her arm around Morticia’s and winked. “Let’s go, my taken friend.” Morticia shook her head as they walked away.
Around a corner, Dimitri emerged, a suspicious look on her face.
“She got a boyfriend? A long-time crush? Definitely not Jamie, then…” She paused, tilting her head with a small smirk. “Could it be who I think it is?”

Simon’s gaze was fixed on the stripper before him, her curves moving seductively as she clung to the pole.
His eyes were intense as he watched her bite her lip and then roll her tongue over it. He’d have her mouth around his cock tonight. That ass would be red from his spanks by the end of it.
“If you want her, just take her instead of ignoring what I just said,” Dimitri said beside him, swirling her drink.
“It’s fun to imagine what you’re going to do with them while they dance before you have them,” Simon replied, not taking his gaze off the stripper.
Dimitri glanced at her cousin. “Are you insane? What does sex have to do with what I just said?”
Simon sighed, finally looking at her. “What? Who do you think she’s with? It could be anyone, Demi. So drop it.”
“What if it’s Klaus?” Dimitri asked.
Simon sighed. “You said it yourself-Klaus would never look at a nerd. She’s inexperienced, dumb, short, fragile, and lives a boring life, isn’t that how you described her? You also said he treats her like a sister, which is why he’s protective.”
“I did… but,” Dimitri bit her lip, recalling Morticia’s glare in the cafe. She was different now.
“I just feel something up with those two. Especially the part of a long time crush. What if it was him? Huh?” She pressed.
“Stop overreacting. Vincent definitely wouldn’t like it…” Simon paused, thinking.
Dimitri raised a brow at his expression.
Simon declared, “I’ll have my men watch them.”

Valerie stepped out of the restroom and plunged in her earpiece to soothe her tense nerves. She had just overheard some girl talking about Sienna. She hated that name with every fiber of her being.
She spotted a familiar figure-Nica, looking troubled as she searched her bag hastily, causing some of her things to fall.
Since Valerie was nearby, she helped her pick up a mascara and handed it over.
“Thank you,” Nica smiled and put it away.
“You don’t look good. Were you crying?” Valerie asked, noticing her slightly swollen eyes.
“What?” Nica touched her face.
“Never mind,” Valerie mumbled and walked away.
Nica pulled out her mirror and checked her eyes. “How did she know I cried? I put on enough makeup,” she mumbled. Clearing her throat, she headed for work.
Valerie stopped in her tracks, seeing Rhea and Thane talking to each other. Unknown to her, her eyes darkened. Why are they laughing? Are they that close?
Thane reached for Rhea’s hair, removing something, and Valerie tilted her head with a small frown.
“Why am I staring at them?… Why am I staring at her?” she mumbled and tore her gaze away. Taking a deep breath, she looked back at them, her eyes widening when Thane wrapped his arm around Rhea’s shoulder.
“Rhea!” A shout escaped her lips before she could stop it. Rhea turned and waved at her.
“Come over, Val!” Rhea called.
Valerie cleared her throat, put on her earpods, and walked in the opposite direction.
Rhea frowned. “Huh? Where is she going?”

“Stop. Where are you taking me?” Morticia’s voice chimed as Klaus led her through the small forest.
“Klaus…”
“Relax, we’ll be there soon,” he said, still pulling her along. Soon, her eyes met a small, empty beach. But that wasn’t the main thing-it was the sunset. So beautiful, so soft that it took her breath away.
“You like it?” Klaus asked beside her.
“Yeah… it’s beautiful,” she mumbled, unable to tear her gaze from the sight. It was breathtaking.
Klaus watched her expression, her eyes wide with wonder, the warm glow of the sun reflecting on her face. He moved closer, slipping his hands into his pockets and taking a deep breath.
“I used to come here a lot,” he began, his voice low. “No one really knows about it.”
She looked at him. “Your secret place?”
“Not really a secret. I just like it here. The breeze, the scent, the feeling… My mom made me love this beach when I was a kid. It keeps me calm. Wanna swim?”
“What? No… Are you crazy? It’s late already, it’s risky. I’m not swimming, and neither are you.”
“Alright, Bunnie, I’m just teasing you.” He smirked and pulled down his backpack, taking out a mat, food, and some drinks.
“Wow,” Morticia mumbled. “When did you…”
“I looked online. Instead of going to some boring dinner or park, I thought of bringing you here.” He set everything up and cleared his throat, nervous.
Morticia thought she might have seen that wrong.
“So, this is our first date?” she asked, noticing he looked a bit nervous.
“Uh…” He scratched his head. “Yeah, I guess.”
Morticia chuckled. “Cool.”
They sat together, chatting for a long time, eating and drinking. Morticia felt so alive; she loved his smile, his voice, the way he gazed at her and teased her.
This wasn’t a dream. Klaus was finally hers.

They got home pretty late, finding Ava asleep on the couch as usual with the television still on.
Morticia shook her head. Ava mostly slept on the couch with the television on. Morticia grabbed a blanket and covered her up.
Ava moaned in her sleep, a small smile on her face.
Morticia snickered. “Was she having a good dream or something?”
Morticia turned and saw Klaus staring at his phone with a small frown. He switched it off and met her gaze with a shrug.
“I thought you’d be going home.”
Klaus glanced at the door. “I sleep better with you by my side.”
“But…”
“I’ll leave before she wakes up,” Klaus answered before she could ask.
As they got into her room, Klaus suddenly pinned her to the door and kissed her hard, savoring it until she was breathless.
“Now I can sleep,” he smiled, pulling off his jacket.
Morticia, biting her lip, stuttered, “I’m going to take a shower.” She entered the bathroom, resting her back against the door with her mouth wide open as she catches her breath.
After freshening up, she stepped out, draped in only a towel. Klaus, who was lying on the bed, glanced at her.
“I… uh… I’m going to change,” she stammered, trying to keep her voice steady.
“Go on,” he said.
“I… mean, you should, uh, close your eyes or look somewhere else… or something.”
“I’ve seen you. Touched, but not fully felt you yet. I’ve seen your tits, ass, and sweet core.. Don’t be shy, Bunnie…”
“Klaus!” she snapped, trying to keep her voice low.
“Fine… I’ll close my eyes,” he said, closing them. Quickly, Morticia changed into something comfortable. After she was done, she told him to open his eyes.
They held a long stare.
“Come here,” he said, and she climbed onto the bed with him. He cuddled her close. “Better,” he whispered.
It didn’t take long for him to fall asleep. He wasn’t joking when he said he slept better with her close. She wasn’t left out; her eyes grew heavy, and inhaling his scent, she slowly fell asleep too.
“Morty…”
Morticia frowned at the familiar voice.
“Morty, sweetie, are you home?” Morticia groaned in discomfort, wondering who was calling her in the middle of the night. She tried to move, but memories hit her. Klaus was here.
“Sweetie?” The voice came again.
Her mom! She looked up at Klaus, who was still asleep beside her, his arms wrapped around her.
One thing about her mother-she never knocked!
And she hadn’t locked the door!
Before she could think of what to do next, the door swung open…
