Luca pulled away, his expression grave and serious as he considered their next move.
“We have to get you to safety,” he said, his voice low and determined. “We can’t let the traitor harm you again.”
Luca and Sophia returned to the mansion, their minds racing as they considered the best way to catch the traitor.
“We need to find a way to identify the masked intruder,” Sophia said, her expression grave and serious.
Luca nodded, his eyes narrowing as he considered their options.
“We’ll check the members of the family for gunshot wounds,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “If the intruder was shot, he’ll have a bullet mark on his arm.”
Luca and Sophia went from room to room, searching for the person with the gunshot wound.
They interviewed each member of the family, questioning them about their movements and whereabouts, but they found no one with any signs of injury.
As their search continued, their frustration mounted, the traitor remained one step ahead of them.
“We’re missing something,” Luca said, his eyes narrowing as he considered their next move. “There has to be a clue we’re not seeing.”
Luca and Sophia continued their search, their determination unwavering as they sought any clue that might lead them to the traitor.
They went through every room of the mansion, searching for any signs of the intruder’s presence.
Finally, in a secluded corner of the basement, they found a discarded mask, stained with blood.
Sophia’s eyes widened, her expression grave and serious as she examined the mask.
“This is it,” she said, her voice low and determined. “This has to be the traitor’s.”
As Luca and Sophia stood there, the realization of what they had discovered sinking in, Vito appeared at the top of the stairs, a look of panic on his face.
His arm was wrapped in a bloody cloth, and he swayed on his feet, clearly in pain.
“I was attacked,” he cried, his voice urgent and desperate. “Someone tried to kill me.”
Luca and Sophia exchanged a glance, their expressions grave and serious as they considered Vito’s words.
“You’re wounded,” Luca said, his voice low and dangerous.
around his arm.
“Show us your wound,” Luca demanded, his voice hard and serious.
Vito hesitated, his eyes darting from side to side as he considered his options.
“I’m telling you, someone attacked me,” he insisted, his voice desperate and pleading.
Luca’s eyes narrowed, his expression hard and determined.
“We’ll decide that after we see your wound,” he said angrily
Vito hesitated, his hand shaking as he unwrapped the cloth from his arm.
As the cloth fell away, Luca and Sophia gasped, their eyes fixed on the wound in Vito’s arm.
The bullet wound was identical to the one they had seen on the masked figure’s arm.
Vito’s eyes widened, his expression grave and serious as he realized that he had been caught.
“I can explain,” he stammered, his voice shaking with fear.
Vito took a deep breath, his expression grave and serious as he considered his options.
“The truth is,” he said, his voice low and dangerous, “I’ve been working undercover to find the traitor.
“I knew the only way to catch them was to infiltrate their operation, so I pretended to join them.
“I was shot by the traitor during a struggle, but I managed to get away before they could finish the job.”
Luca and Sophia exchanged a glance, their expressions grave and serious as they considered Vito’s words.
Luca and Sophia stood there, their minds racing as they struggled to make sense of Vito’s story.
“If what you’re saying is true,” Luca said, his voice hard and serious, “then why didn’t you come to us sooner?
“Why keep this information to yourself?”
Vito hesitated, his expression grave and serious as he searched for an answer.
“I wanted to protect the family,” he said, his voice low and desperate.
“I knew that if the traitor discovered my identity, they would come after the ones I love.”
Luca and Sophia listened to Vito’s story, their faces serious and somber as they considered the implications of his words.
“If you’re telling the truth,” Sophia said, her voice low and dangerous, “then we need to take action.
“We need to expose the traitor and protect the family.”
Vito nodded, his expression grave and determined as he considered their words.
“I’ll do whatever it takes,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “I won’t let the family be harmed.”
footsteps echoing in the silence as they made their way back to the Don’s office.
Vito watched them go, a cruel smile playing on his lips as he reveled in his victory.
“Fools,” he muttered, his voice low and dangerous. “They have no idea what they’re up against.”
In the Don’s office, Sophia and Luca explained their findings, their voices grave and serious as they shared their suspicions about Vito.
Don Giovanni listened, his expression grave and determined as he considered their words.
said, his voice low and dangerous, “then we must take swift and decisive action.
“We cannot allow him to harm the family any further.”
Sophia nodded, her expression grave and serious.
“We need to find proof,” she said, her voice hard and determined.
“We need to catch him in the act.”
Don Giovanni considered their words, his expression grave and serious.
“You must be careful,” he said, his voice low and dangerous.
Sophia and Luca left the Don’s office, their minds racing as they considered their next move.
“We need to keep an eye on Vito,” Luca said, his voice low and serious.
“We can’t let him out of our sight.”
Sophia nodded, her expression grave and determined.
“We’ll take turns watching him,” she said, her voice hard and decisive. “He won’t be able to make a move without us knowing.”
Luca and Sophia began their surveillance, taking turns keeping an eye on Vito as he went about his daily business.
They followed him as he met with the other members of the family, their eyes fixed on him as he spoke with them, their ears straining to catch any hint of betrayal.
But Vito was careful, his movements measured and calculated as he avoided any signs of suspicion.
As the days passed, Luca and Sophia grew more and more frustrated, their efforts yielding no results.
