~YULIA
“So, you want to hang out with us just to get down and rough with her uncle?” Ashley asked the twins with a puzzled expression on her face.
“We do not expect you to understand our ways, witch girl,” One of the twins said with pure disdain in her voice.
I wanted to tell them that they were both too late for that but I knew that I could not tell them that I was already mated and what they were trying to ask was next to impossible. I shuddered as I imagined the both of them and I with Issa together as one fucked up family.
Ashley turned to me with more questions on her face. “Is this a normal thing with werewolves?” she asked me.
I shook my head. “Not really, it is more of a Lycan thing. Some werewolf families give their daughters to Lycans to get impregnated, and these two here,” I said pointing at the Rasputin twins. “Were unfortunately chosen by their families to be baby factories for my uncle’s seed.”
“So that is why you are both being nice all of a sudden,” Ashley said as she realized. I sighed and rubbed my forehead.
I needed sleep.
“What do you want me to do anyway?” I asked wearily as I turned away from the twins and began to walk away.
They joined me and Ashley and I was sure that we looked like a weird bunch.
“We need you to talk to your uncle,” one of them said.
I laughed darkly and shook my head in disbelief.
“You want me to convince my uncle to fuck you,” I said with a little chuckle.
“We do not like being laughed at,” the other one replied.
“Well, I can not help it, you guys would make great comedians,” I said with a heavy hint of sarcasm and scoffed.
“This is the strangest conversation I have ever witnessed,” Ashley said with an amazed expression on her face.
“Will you at least try, our parents are giving us a hard time as it is,” one of them replied.
“Your parents are pressuring you?” I asked in disbelief. “Why?”
“It will be a great honour in our family if we carry the offspring of a Lycan,” the second one replied.
“Is that what you guys really want?” I asked. “Like don’t you even have dreams of finding your own true mates?”
I saw their faces and how helpless they looked in response to my question.
“We do not have the luxury of choices, Yulia, ever since we were born, our lives had been planned out for us, and Lycan Issa is a big part of our lives, whether we accept it or not,” The first one said.
“That is just sad,” Ashley said as she shook her head in disbelief.
“That is just horrible parenting,” I muttered and turned away from them. They followed me.
“So will you do it?” One of them asked. I scoffed.
“Why should I even help you? Why not ask Leia? You are friends, aren’t you?” I challenged.
“It has become rather…complicated with Leia,” one of the twins replied.
“Trouble in paradise?” Ashley teased.
“What happened?” I asked.
“After you burnt her face the last time you fought, her social standing has taken a hit, she is no longer feared or respected in this campus,” the other twin responded.
I did not know how to respond to that but something was bothering me.
“First off, which one of you is Elektra and which one is Nicoletta?” I asked with deep confusion. “You guys are so hard to tell apart.”
“I am Elektra, you can identify me by my red eyes,” The first one said.
“And you can identify me by blue eyes,” Nicoletta said.
It was true, they looked so identical that the only way to tell them apart was their eye color.
“What are you doing with her?” Leia suddenly echoed as she walked up to us. She was talking to the twins. “Why did you not follow me?” She demanded.
“Your queen bee is calling,” I said. “You better go.” I did not want another round of crazy Craven incidents and I had no desire to go back to Davina’s office.
“Well?” Leia demanded as she put her hands on her hips.
“Look, Leia, everything does not revolve around you anymore, we are having a very important discussion with Yulia, so you should wait or go, we are going through a bit of a problem and only she can help,” Elektra coldly replied.
“You are no longer of any use to us anyway,” Nicoletta added.
“Ouch,” Ashley muttered.
I nudged her lightly on her arm.
Leia walked slowly towards us and stopped a few paces. I could see the promise of revenge in her eyes. Her face was fully healed.
“You think because you are related to Issa you can get away with whatever you do?” She asked.
“I have not done anything,” I shrugged as I replied.
“My sister is hurt because of you,” Leia said in a tight rage filled voice.
“She attacked me first, in my house,” I retorted. “She got what she deserved.”
Leia looked at the twins. “So, she is your new best friend now?” She demanded.
“We are not friends,” I said.
“You think she is going to help you?” Leia asked as she ignored my reply. “You think you are the only werewolves aiming for Issa’s seed?” She scoffed.
The twins made no reply. I knew that there were other families interested in Issa but the Rasputin twins, Andrea and Iris were the only ones that I personally knew of.
Leia turned to leave. “Watch your back, Yulia, you made this personal.” She said as she left all of them standing there.
“Do not pay attention to her, Yulia,” Elektra said as we all watched Leia leave.
But I rolled my eyes at her response. These twins were really under the impression that I could help them. I could never even consider being friends with people who were capable of dumping their Queenbee so easily.
“Please stop pretending to care and leave me alone,” I cut her off and headed to the next class.
