CHAPTER 133

Book:Omega's Wolf Is A Rogue Published:2025-2-18

QUEEN CHRISELDA
The following day, I did as Thelma had said and gave Allen his position back, as Wolf Fall’s Alpha.
When I made this announcement publicly to my people, as well as the elders, they were not pleased one bit.
Their faces showed how annoyed they were with my decision. The anger was more visible on the faces of the damsels who were used by Allen as a tool of pleasure.
They had their eyes fixed at both Allen and Fiona, who stood next to my sorceress, right beside me.
Well, I don’t care about them.
I’m not the one who told them to stupidly give themselves to my son blindly. It’s their own fault.
“My Queen, you can’t just take back your word after what you promised the people.”
“Allen can not be our Alpha after what he did to our girls!”
The elders argued about this on behalf of the maidens, but with my trump card in my hand, I laid it out and gave them my reason.
“You think I’ve forgotten about that? No!” I spoke out, addressing this to everyone, not just the elders.
“Yes, my son committed a big sin which is unacceptable, but I can’t just stand back and allow the enemies to win this fight by painting my poor child and this innocent girl, immoral!”
My words got everyone mumbling. They were confused.
“What are you talking about?” The elders questioned me.
I went on to paint out my story, making Allen and Fiona look pure and innocent in the eyes of all.
“All what you’ve been seeing on the net about Allen and Fiona has been nothing but a lie! They weren’t in their right senses because someone had placed a spell on them, so that they’d act that way!”
“What?” The elders exclaimed, finding this unbelievable.
The people had the same expression. I could here how they mumbled under each other’s voices, asking how this was possible.
Thank the heavens for giving me someone like Thelma. She came forward and backed my words. “It’s indeed true. Your Alpha and this poor innocent damsel were controlled by dark magic to carry out such disgusting act, so that Wolf fall would crumble and have no future ruler after your Queen. I have been able to confirm this because I have the power to do so.”
On hearing Thelma’s speech, the people of Wolf Fall had no choice but to believe our tale!
Splendid!
“Goddess! How did all these things happen?”
“It’s the work of the vampires! The sorceress did say that those bats now play with dark magic. They must have done this to us!”
“No, it’s the Rogue!”
Some of the members argued over the matter, looking for who to blame.
But I wasn’t going to allow this opportunity to slip away. This is the right moment to make everyone see who the real enemy is.
Putting on the face of one who is deeply hurt, I said, raising my hands to calm my people, “Yes, the vampires and the rogue played a role in trying to tarnish their image, but they didn’t do it alone. They had an ally, a spy who has been in our midst for years, pretending to love us all. And the more I think of this, the more I feel so pained knowing that we took care of such a person like our own, yet she dared to stab us all in the back!”
“A traitor?” The elders chorused, widening their eyes.
With desperation, they demanded for the name of the culprit, expressing their desire to make the enemy pay.
Placing my hand on my chest, I revealed, “It’s… Evolet.”
At the mention of her name, the whole people gasped out in shock.
There was a brief silence for about ten seconds, before everyone spoke out, refusing to believe that that Omega could do such a thing.
Blind wolves! They still view that wretch as their heroine.
Fools!
“My Queen, I think you’re mistaken. Evolet? No, that’s impossible.”
“If you had mention any other person, we would have said yes, it could be true. But Evolet? No way, Queen Chriselda. That girl is the pride of this pack.” The elders said, defending Eve.
That’s when Thelma uttered, backing me up again, “That’s exactly what she wanted from you all from the very beginning. She has made you all her disciples, so that if such problem like this ever arises, she can easily escape her act by using your innocence!”
Her loud roar shunned everyone at once.
Thelma went on to accuse Evolet of being not just the Vampires spy, but the Werecat’s ally as well.
“Her so called fight with the Alpha Cat that night was all an act to win your trust. She deceived us all into seeing her as a heroine who’s following the ways of our beloved Luna Violet. But the truth is that she’s a traitor! She’s the one who led the enemies into our land. That weakling has been seeking powers from those monsters to use and impress us all, into thinking she’s a strong willed fighter! She is not. Evolet… She is the Werewolves enemy. She is a betrayer,” Thelma stamped, glaring at everyone.
“And with my help, I will fish her out from her hiding place and make her pay for what she has done,” Allen voiced out, stepping forward with Fiona by his side.
He revealed his plan to get all the werewolf armies from other packs, as well as their Alphas, to join us in our battle against the Vampires and Werecats.
“We were lucky that they didn’t get into the pack because of your brave Queen and sorceress here. They had to go out and stop those bats from taking Wolf Fall. But they fled the battleground with that traitor.” He tightened his hand, demonstrating the intensity of his anger to all.
“Now that we’re back in power, we will make sure we hunt them down and end them all, especially that Omega!” Fiona said, making her voice heard.
She was bold before all and didn’t fear if they’d attack her for her past action.
With everything my people had heard, no one had the guts to speak back but stare in utter shock.
Their beloved Evolet has failed them all.
.
That same day, towards the evening, Allen reached out to the Alphas of other packs and informed them of the battle we’re about to face. Thelma on the other hand was preparing something in her chamber, while I was taking my time to welcome both Fiona and her mother, fully into my home.
“This is your home from now on,” I said to them, escorting the happy mother and daughter to their rooms.
I wanted to have just a day of relaxation without feeling troubled, but whenever I think about Evolet and Cadell, I always lose my focus.
Fiona and her mother noticed my sudden change in behavior.
I covered it up with a lie, claiming to have aches from my fight with the rogue. That gave me my chance to head back to my room and focus.
“The spirit wolf I’ve been hunting down for years is in that girl. What if Cadell takes her far away beyond our reach? How will I acquire all the powers to stay powerful?!”
“Relax Chriselda. Remember what Thelma said. They can’t run away from us now that we know who Violet’s bearer is. Even if it means we’ll have to tear down every Werecat kingdom to find her, we’ll do it. Yes… She can’t escape us.” I smiled, rubbing the side of my head to stay calm.
That plan alone calmed my worry, giving me a peaceful night rest.
From morning to noon, Wolf Fall was crowded with werewolf guards from other packs.
The Alphas came over to show their respect to me, expressing their readiness to fight along side my son and I, and bring glory to the werewolves again.
“You did it before and you’ll do it again, my Queen. This time around, we’re here for you,” They all supported.
I appreciated them, feeling so proud of myself.
The songs of praises from every corner never ceases to end. I am indeed the savior of the werewolves, and I’ll give my kind the victory we deserve all over again.
“We can’t wait any longer. We take our position now,” Allen stepped in, displaying his position in my face by ordering everyone around.
I didn’t say anything to him but watched on.
“Always using his ego to think instead of his head. Anyways, he won’t be the hero of this fight. I was the one who ended the first war, and I’ll still be the one to end it again… by taking Evolet’s life,” I planned within, watching Allen leave with the Alphas and soldiers to set out their formation before the main journey begins.
.
At around eight in the night, I was having a family moment with Fiona and her mother, when our peace was interrupted by the elders, who showed up unexpectedly, looking dull.
I wasn’t expecting them to come after yesterday’s notice. In fact, I was making plans to meet with Thelma so we’d make our move. But now that they are here, I can’t do anything else but attend to them.
“Elders! It’s so nice to have you in my home. I hope everything is alright?” I asked with a smile, offering them a seat.
But they all rejected it and said, going straight to the main reason of their visit, “My Queen, we know that you are putting in your best to make this pack better again, but…”
“But what?” I disrupted, wondering where all these was heading to.
That’s when a guard came in to pass a report of what was happening at the pack square.
“My Queen, the damsels of the land have refused to stay in their homes until you listen to their voices.”
“Listen to their voices? What do they want now?!” I groaned, getting annoyed.
I don’t need to ask when clearly I know what those brats want.
They are mad about the order I made!
“I think it’s obvious, my Queen. Those ungrateful ladies aren’t satisfied with what you’ve given to them. You are stressing yourself to save us all from danger and they want you to attend to their selfish needs? No!” Fiona spoke confidently and said to the guard in command, “Get the car ready. We’re heading down there to end this.”
“As you wish, my Lady.” The guard bowed, obeying her words.
I was proud of Fiona’s authority. Even her mother had a smile to show it too.
Fiona told the elders not to worry about the damsels. “The Queen and I will handle this. Let’s go, mother.”
Mother? Waw, I’m impressed!
We exited the mansion and drove down to the pack square to see the damsels.
The elders followed from behind in their own vehicles.
When we got there, we met the guards standing and blocking the girls from taking any step further, while the maidens yelled at the top of their voices, demanding for justice.
Their useless cries had gotten the people of Wolf Fall watching their despicable drama.
“The instruction was clear! Everyone is meant to stay inside!” I sparked, storming out of the car with Fiona following.
When I got to them, “BE QUIET!” I roared at the girls with my inner voice, shunning them immediately.
They all glared at me with hate in their eyes, almost as if they want to pounce on me.
“What is wrong with you women?! Didn’t I make it clear to everyone that there’s a war at hand?! You all are supposed to be in your homes, hiding away safely, not out in the open protesting over something uncalled for!”
“Uncalled for?” One of the damsels picked that word, chuckling at me.
“My Queen, you seem to have forgotten that this uncalled-for situation has something to do with your son and the decision you made.”
“Justice for the young women of Wolf Fall? What a Sham! You were never going to punish your son for deceiving and using us like we’re nothing. You just swept the matter under the carpet and Boom! He’s the Alpha again, and Fiona…” The second girl pointed at Fiona, giving her the stink-eye. “His future Luna.”
“This is not how a Queen carries out justice. You are robbing us all by using your power!”
“ENOUGH!” Fiona shouted, stepping forward to protect me.
“Have you girls lost your senses?! Were you all deaf when the Queen and the sorceress made it clear that Alpha Allen and I were placed under a dark magic?! Isn’t that enough to tell you all that Allen never meant to sleep with you?!”
“Oh cut the crap, Fiona!” Another maiden disrupted from the right side, silencing Fiona.
“Dark magic my ass. That Dog was in his full senses when he came to my room to see me at night.”
“How dare you call my son a Dog?!” My eyes shimmered at the girl, as I growled to make her quiet.
Instead, she went on talking without any fear!
What kind of girls do we have in this pack?!
“The Diamond ring mumbo-jumbo he has been singing to us all from the very beginning was a sign. We just didn’t realize it until now! So don’t try to defend him because the Queen favors you only. Allen must be punished, otherwise we’ll start our own war against the royal family!”
They all chorused, demanding for justice.
I was so mad that I felt like ordering the guards to beat them all till they bleed out of their mouths, but with the people and elders watching… “Girls, please stop!” I yelled out, putting on the face of an emotional Queen and mother to all.
“I can understand your rage. You are deeply hurt. But you need to accept the truth and let the past stay in the past for good. Allen… He was under a spell. Trust me, my children. The enemies made him like that,” I repeated softly, innocently staring at them.
Their raging gazes had switched into reasoning.
The atmosphere was better and calm.
As I waited for a positive feedback from them… “Hmm, spell right? Since you said he was under a spell, then I refuse to believe that Evolet betrayed us all.”
“What?!” I was astonished by the damsels decision.
“That’s right. If you choose to stand on your words and say both Fiona and your son were under some kind of Dark magic, then your story about Evolet being our enemy isn’t true!”
They all chorused, agreeing to this!
What rubbish are these girls cooking now?!
What games are they trying to pull here?!
