Priyank muttered a curse; he just couldn’t deny it, the way it was so scary, he still thought he was watching a nightmare.
“Now you trust us, right? We are not enemies; we are the righteous family Priya belongs to, not from that orphanage where she was born,” Rish’s eyes tried to figure out Priyank. It was quite hard to figure out what was going on inside his head.
Priyank sighed, knowing he couldn’t deny this, and the proof they just threw in his face, he couldn’t deny it after that.
“I am trying to process everything.”
“That’s what you can do while helping Priya recover. You have to mate with her so she can have this curse broken and wake up because she is in a loop, in deep slumber. Only you can help her; we have very little time,” Lima exclaimed.
Priyank did want to touch his Angel, do everything with her, but having sex like this is clearly something he doesn’t think fits his bill.
Even that day before the wedding, he talked to her on call, warned her about having sex with her, as their first night, he seriously was not going to do it.
He touched her before, so she could get used to his touch, but he never thought about having sex with her until she fully accepted him.
Marriage was for him to claim her, not for sex. He already took her as his, but marriage was just a formality.
He could be a devil, but that didn’t mean he would force or take advantage by having sex. Maybe his own rules don’t apply to touching, but that doesn’t mean he would go this far.
Especially when he sees her like this and knows that she ran away from him because of the wedding. How would she react if she found out he had sex with her while she was in a coma? He can’t even imagine it; the stress is already so much. He’s here figuring out that his Angel is not human, she’s a werewolf, royal blood.
That means when she behaved boldly and called him Daddy, it was her wolf. Otherwise, he thought she had some mental illness. Without proof, everything sounded like an illness, but now he’s seen it with his own eyes.
“What are you thinking?” Maya questioned, seeing him so silent after hearing everything.
He’s literally giving her PTSD; there’s no way he should be thinking like this when Priya is in this condition, and he claims to love her.
She can understand it’s a lot to take in, but is this more important than Priya’s life? That’s definitely a no.
He can process this information afterward; he’s literally getting Priya, whom he was forcing to marry him before, without any hurdles.
He should be glad it’s happening; otherwise, a man like him doesn’t deserve to be a queen soon.
A damn arrogant human who thinks everyone is below him. These types of people don’t even get a chance to be on the radar of normal supernatural beings, and here he is getting mated with a queen, royal blood, heir to the biggest and most powerful pack among all the packs.
“I’m thinking she won’t like it when she wakes up and finds out I slept with her,” Priyank said without thinking.
“Did you think about that before forcing the marriage on her? If she didn’t run away from you, she would be your wife by force. So now you have some conscience, not making sense, don’t you think?” Levi finds it trashy; Priyank is behaving like he’s not the same person who acted like an animal before.
As Priya told her, she still remembers how he made her walk on broken glass just because of a mere thing. Now he’s behaving like he is a saint, and everyone is forcing him to do something bad.
Priyank rubbed his temples, feeling the weight of guilt and confusion bearing down on him. “I know,” he admitted, his voice heavy with pain. “But I can’t just ignore what’s happening now.”
Maya hardened her gaze. “We just need you to do what’s right, for Priya.”
Levi crossed her arms, her expression still sceptical.
Priyank nodded, his jaw set with determination. “Is there any other way than sex? Maybe she can wake up by something else. After she stabilises, she can be told the truth and decide if she really wants me to have sex with her. She is mine, but that doesn’t mean I will just have sex with her in her unconscious state.”
“I don’t think there is any other way. Maybe you can hug her or be a bit closer, give her the touch of your body. It may help, but I’m not sure,” Lima advised, noticing Priyank’s reluctance.
Priyank sighed, grappling with his inner conflict. “I’ll try,” he said finally, though the uncertainty still lingered in his voice.
Maya, Levi, Jackson, Rish, and Lima all walked out of the room, leaving them alone.
Priyank looked at Priya. Gently, he reached out and brushed a strand of hair from her face, his touch light and hesitant. “I’m here, Priya,” he murmured softly, his voice barely above a whisper. “I’ll do whatever it takes to bring you back.”
Leaning in, he pressed a tender kiss to her forehead, hoping against hope that his actions would somehow reach her, even in her unconscious state. For Priya, he was willing to do anything.
He knew he had done a lot worse things, but that didn’t mean he didn’t have a conscience. He just tended to ignore it, and at that time, Priya also had consciousness, so he didn’t feel bad about things.
Touching her body with his naked body wasn’t something bad because he had already bathed with her in the bathtub, so it was quite a fine thing he could do. He was quite shameless in this matter.
He stripped his clothes and sat on Priya’s bed, which was small for two, but he adjusted himself.
Gently, he peeled off her gown, revealing her frail form. It pained him to see her like this, so vulnerable and fragile.
Carefully, he slipped under the covers beside her, his body heat mingling with hers. Wrapping his arms around her, he held her close, feeling her warmth against his skin. It was a simple gesture, but he hoped it would bring her some comfort.
He whispered soothing words in her ear, his voice a gentle murmur in the quiet room. “You are my life.”
