Book:Ruthless Mafia's Innocent Mate Published:2025-2-16

“We have to bring that Priyank here,”
Levi and Rish’s eyes widened, while Jackson wriggled his eyes, remembering when Maya told him about Priyank and how Priya ran away from him.
“What are you saying, Maya? That fucker, isn’t he the one who literally hurt Priya?” Jackson cursed.
“You forgot that only mates can come closer to royal blood, so if that guy is able to do so, then I am pretty sure he is Priya’s mate,” Maya’s blood boiled as she processed her own words.
She hated Priyank from her heart, even though she didn’t once see him. But hearing Priya’s words and the way she told, he is like a bloodthirsty monster.
But now what choice do they have? The curse can be lifted only by mating, so there’s no other way to save Priya.
Maya knows that her late sister did this thinking the mate will love Priya. Not just that Priyank is a prick; he is a human too, who doesn’t understand any mate bond.
What’s worse is, he is some kind of obsessed man who doesn’t even behave like a decent human; he behaves worse than animals.
Still, did she have any option? She doesn’t, so that’s the only way they have, so she can’t deny anything.
“Mom, you know how much Priya hates him, that’s why she ran away,” Levi tried to reason. No matter what, this is highly dangerous.
“I know everything, but if he is her mate, then only he can save her. We have no right to judge what Moon Goddess bonded her with. She is of royal blood, others can maybe reject their mates, but she is bonded with a curse. She can’t do it,” Maya rubbed her palms together.
The chills ran through her whole body. Only she knows how she is handling the breeze that’s hitting her like an ice cube.
Her words burning her tongue may sound selfish, but practically this is the only option that’s laying in front. So she can’t just behave like it’s nothing, when it is.
It’s like either losing Priya or just accepting this.
And no way she is losing Priya. After 18 years, she got her hands on Priya, even if she has to make some selfish decisions or if she has to sacrifice herself or Priya for things, she won’t mind it at all.
“We understand you, mom, but it’s gonna be difficult. Even if he comes, because of course, he would be wanting Priya, how will we make him understand this whole thing?” Rish tried to reason out, putting some sense into his words.
“Whoever this boy is, I don’t think we should wait. Maya is right. If that boy is Priya’s mate, then you all together can’t stop it, no matter how bad it is,” Lima softly put Priya’s hand on the bed and wiped her own tears.
Her energy drained, she sat on the stool due to the lack of balance she had right in the moment.
“We have to act fast. Priya’s life is at stake,” she said, her voice wavering with emotion.
Levi nodded in agreement. “She’s right. We need to figure out how to bring Priyank here.”
Maya clenched her fists, determination in her eyes. “Let’s find his number.”
Jackson sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. “I’ll talk to him if I have to. He needs to understand that Priya’s life depends on this.”
Rish nodded. “That information should be in the jewellery shop records, as he’s a regular customer. I’ll contact the staff who are working today.”
Rish pulled out his phone and called the shop, discussing with them the possibility of obtaining Priyank’s contact details, which was surely a difficult task.
“They said they’ll send it,” he said, ending the call.
“I don’t know how Priya will react to everything. First, telling her she’s a royal wolf, and now this the man she ran away from and trusted us to keep her safe, we’re putting her back in that situation,” Levi’s voice broke, unsure of how they would handle things.
Maya placed a comforting hand on Levi’s shoulder. “If I could, I won’t even let that guy shadow Priya, but this is Moon Goddess’s decision, she mated her with him.”
Jackson nodded in agreement. “We can’t change what’s already happened.”
Lima steeled herself for what was to come. “Mating is very important for every wolf, and royal wolves have to sacrifice no matter how bad their mate is.”
Rish pocketed his phone, a determined look in his eyes. “Let’s focus on getting Priyank here. Once he’s with us, we’ll figure out the rest.”
Levi shakes her head knowing she can’t do anything to help Priya, she still can remember Priya was so scared when she was telling her about Priyank.
Now they are putting Priya in front of him, but as everyone said, destiny already played the cards, now no one can do anything about it, even if they tried it will backfire, which they don’t want .
Ting!
Rish’s phone rang, and he quickly pulled it out to check the message that popped up with the number.
“I got his number,” he announced with a smile.
“Call him,” Maya urged.
Rish dialed Priyank’s number, but it rang several times without an answer, eventually getting cut off.
“He’s not picking up,” Rish said, annoyed.
“Keep calling him, no matter how many times it takes. We need to get through to him,” Jackson commanded.
Rish nodded, determination etched on his face. He again called on Priyank’s number, persistently attempting to reach him. After several attempts, Priyank finally answered the call.
“Hello?” Priyank’s voice sounded distant and uninterested.
“This is Rish. We need you to come to the hospital immediately,” Rish said urgently.
“Who are you?” Priyank’s tone was curt.
“Who I am doesn’t matter,” Rish replied, his voice firm.
“Don’t waste my time, you fucker.”
“I’m not wasting your time. You’re looking for Priya, right?”
“How do you know that?”
“That doesn’t matter. Come to the hospital now. You’ll find her.”
There was a moment of silence on the other end before Priyank spoke again. “Which hospital?”
“You need to come to the Minati Forest. I’ll meet you at the entrance. Just come quickly, or you won’t be able to find her.”
“I’m coming. If this is a prank, just pray for your life.”
