“Lyra, you will escort Lord Leo and Elder Mike to that mansion,” the emperor instructed Princess Lyra.
“Yes, Father,” Princess Lyra replied softly, her face slightly flushed.
Under Princess Lyra’s guidance, Leo and Mike left the palace and boarded a Beast Carriage.
After about ten minutes, the carriage stopped in front of an impressive mansion.
Leo looked up and saw a large golden plaque hanging above the gate with the words “Bloomer Manor” inscribed on it.
“Lord Leo, the plaque was made by my father this morning. Inside the mansion, there are fifty Golden Lion Guards and a hundred maidservants at your disposal,” Princess Lyra said gently.
“His Majesty is very considerate,” Leo replied with a smile. The three of them then disembarked and walked towards the gate.
“Greetings, Lord Leo!”
Six Golden Lion Guards, three on each side of the gate, knelt on one knee in unison when they saw Leo.
“Rise,” Leo nodded.
The three of them stepped into the mansion. Inside, there were pavilions, corridors over lakes, and various flowers, along with a hundred beautiful maidservants. It was indeed a pleasing sight.
The Martial Dynasty emperor had indeed shown great hospitality to Leo.
After leading Leo to the mansion, Princess Lyra did not linger and left promptly.
“Elder Mike, I am going to cultivate. No one is allowed to disturb me,” Leo instructed Mike.
Leo was preparing to break through to the peak of the mid-stage Spirit Saint realm.
“Yes, Lord!” Mike responded respectfully.
In the cultivation room, Leo sat cross-legged. With a wave of his right hand, the Nine Colored Hidden Spirit Flower, glowing with nine colors, appeared and floated in front of him.
Under the illumination of the nine colors, the entire cultivation room became dreamlike and enchanting.
The Nine Colored Hidden Spirit Flower had nine petals, each emitting different light. It contained the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and was an excellent Spirit Herb for increasing cultivation without any side effects.
Leo took a deep breath, plucked a petal, and put it in his mouth.
As soon as the petal entered his mouth, a vast, cool energy filled Leo’s entire body.
Leo closed his eyes and began to refine the petal’s energy using the Nine Transformations of the Stars technique.
As the petal’s energy transformed into spiritual power, the golden core in Leo’s dantian became even brighter.
Time passed by slowly.
Leo continued to refine the energy from three more petals of the Nine Colored Hidden Spirit Flower into spiritual power.
When he consumed the fourth petal, the golden core in his dantian suddenly emitted a bright nine-colored light.
A thick aura spread from Leo’s body, and his spiritual sense also strengthened further.
After another ten minutes, Leo’s eyes suddenly opened, with a flash of nine-colored light in his pupils.
Leo exhaled slowly, a look of joy appearing on his face-he had advanced to the peak of the mid-stage Spirit Saint realm!
Feeling the abundant spiritual power within him, Leo’s lips curled into a joyful smile.
The path of spiritual cultivation became increasingly difficult as one progressed. Although it was just a small step from mid-stage Spirit Saint to its peak, Leo’s strength and combat power had significantly improved.
Looking at the remaining five petals of the Nine Colored Hidden Spirit Flower floating in front of him, Leo decided to continue cultivating and aim for the upper-stage Spirit Saint realm.
Leo consumed the fifth petal of the Nine Colored Hidden Spirit Flower, closed his eyes, and resumed his cultivation.
When the heavy stone door of the cultivation room opened and Leo emerged, it was already three nights later.
The bright moonlight shone down from the sky onto his tall figure dressed in white standing before the stone door.
The biggest difference between this planet and Earth was that this planet had two moons.
It was said that after breaking through to the ninth stage of Spirit God, one could ascend to the moon and enter the true world of immortals.
According to legend, true immortals had long lifespans and could shine alongside the sun and moon. This was the ultimate goal for Cultivators on this planet.
Leo looked up at the night sky, his deep black pupils reflecting his thoughts.
After several days of cultivation, Leo had consumed the entire Nine Colored Hidden Spirit Flower. The vast energy had transformed into spiritual power, filling his golden core.
At this moment, an invisible thick aura emanated from Leo. He was not far from reaching the upper-stage Spirit Saint realm.
Once he broke through to the Spirit God realm, Leo could set off to find Sophia at Frostwhisper Clan.
This was Leo’s purpose and motivation for coming to this world.
“Sophia, are you doing well in this world? Is anyone bullying you at Frostwhisper Clan? Don’t worry; I will come for you soon!” Leo clenched his fists slowly within his sleeves, determination shining in his eyes.
After a long while, Leo exhaled softly, suppressing his longing. He walked towards the main hall of the mansion.
The maidservants in the mansion greeted Leo respectfully as he passed by them.
Leo paused slightly when he reached the courtyard in front of the main hall.
In the courtyard were rows of congratulatory gifts wrapped in red silk cloths-at least several hundred packages-standing out in the night.
Leo stepped into the main hall where Mike quickly approached him upon seeing him.
“Elder Mike, what are those gifts?” Leo asked.
“Lord, those gifts were sent by royal nobles, ministers, and various families to congratulate you on moving into your new mansion. I didn’t know your intentions and couldn’t refuse them, so I temporarily placed them there,” Mike replied respectfully.
Mike’s answer made Leo ponder for a moment.
Given his status as a Fourth-rank Alchemist and having cured the Martial Dynasty emperor’s favorite daughter, it was reasonable for nobles to send gifts.
“Lord, besides these gifts, many people have also sent invitation cards hoping to visit you. Among them are Crown Prince Caius and Third Prince Tyrese,” Mike said as he took out a thick stack of gold-red invitation cards from his Storage Sack.
“Since you were cultivating earlier, I declined them for now. How should we handle them next?”
“Accept the gifts but ignore the invitation cards,” Leo decided after some thought.
With so many invitation cards, it would take days to meet everyone. He didn’t have that much free time.
There was something very important he needed to do next-refine and enhance Dragon Sword!
Leo looked at Mike and asked, “Elder Mike, you know how to refine weapons, right?”
“Yes,” Mike nodded.
While not every Cultivator could refine pills, knowing some weapon refining techniques was essential since they often needed to refine their own treasures.
“Are you planning to refine a spiritual weapon?” Mike asked.
“Yes. Tomorrow you will accompany me to the palace,” Leo instructed.
“Yes, Lord!”
