Rosalind was taken aback and dodged. “Mr. Walters, you’ve been saying ‘not allowed’ quite a lot lately!”
He started setting rules for her.
She had never seen him so bossy and domineering before.
“It’s all because of your flirting around.”
She retorted, “When have I done that?”
Ulric raised an eyebrow, “Then Malcolm?”
“And Lion?”
“Speaking of him, I haven’t had time to settle the score with him.”
Just destroying Prosperity Holdings completely was far from enough.
Rosalind glanced at him, neither pleading for Lion nor indicating any intention to plead for him.
It was normal to be punished for doing something wrong! Because of Lion, Floyd was put in danger. How could Ulric, as Floyd’s father, just let it go?
“Have you decided on the date to go back and pick up the children?” Rosalind felt no sympathy for Lion, but as for Malcolm… She was still uncertain.
She hadn’t said a word to Malcolm about taking the children away. She really didn’t know how to bring it up.
It was just too cruel.
“How about next week?” Ulric didn’t give Rosalind a chance to change her mind. The sooner, the better! He wanted to see the children as soon as possible.
How many men could bear to leave their two children in the care of their love rival?
“but you… your health…”
“I’m fine.” If he didn’t bring his children back soon, he would never find peace of mind.
Hearing his non-negotiable tone, Rosalind sighed helplessly, “Then what’s the point of asking for my opinion? I bet you’ve already had Cedric book the tickets, haven’t you?”
“Cedric is efficient, you know.”
She knew it!

Tilda was exhausted.
She slept so deeply that her parents and even Malcolm went to the police station to report her missing.
When she opened her eyes, she looked at the unfamiliar ceiling and room for a long time before suddenly turning her head to look at the familiar man behind her.
“How… why are you here?!”
Tilda shouted, startling Johnny who was still asleep.
He was shirtless, with a sleepy look on his face. The satin blanket only loosely covered his waist, revealing his broad shoulders and a V-line. Tilda’s gaze moved downward… Thankfully, he was wearing pants.
“What time is it?” Johnny yawned and sat up, looking like a teenager who still wanted to sleep. He ran his hand through his messy hair and looked confused.
At this reminder, Tilda quickly checked her phone!
Damn it! Almost 100 missed calls!
She quickly pulled the blanket over herself and got out of bed to return the calls, standing by the window.
Tilda went through her contacts one by one, explaining everything, her head buzzing. She had never had to come up with so many lies all at once in her entire life…
But no matter how much her dad and mom asked, Tilda always insisted that Johnny was just an ordinary friend. She said they drank too much last night and she passed out, so they stayed at a hotel.
Finally managing to temporarily fool them, Tilda let out a sigh of relief. As she lifted her head, she saw Johnny looking at her with resentment on his face.
“If we’re just ordinary friends, then how many ordinary friends do you have?”
Tilda couldn’t be bothered with him, ready to head towards the bathroom to wash up.
Johnny persisted and grabbed her wrist. “You haven’t answered me! Where are you going?”
“I think I’ve made myself clear, Johnny. You don’t think that just because I didn’t go on a blind date yesterday means I agreed to be your girlfriend, do you?”
“You don’t agree?”
“Of course not!” Tilda glared at him. “You owe me for tearing my clothes and go buy the pill!”
