DAMIAN
“You are going to regret ever signing these documents, Alpha Diego. One day your decision will come back and ruin you.” I shook hands with my new partner, desperately hoping for that day to come.
He’s going to fall flat.
“Please, let me see you to your car,” He offered, moving aside from his table.
I didn’t object but allowed the Alpha to do as he wanted, watching him lead the way out of his office.
As we made our way towards the entrance, Diego suddenly stopped and got my attention falling on Anastasia. She was at a corner, talking to a man I haven’t seen before.
“So that’s where my stubborn girl ran off to,” He said with a smirk, admiring her.
I frowned at this, feeling a strong detest for this wolf. He has Anna all to himself, and she’s making herself his doll.
Just look at the way she sat on his laps at the office. That’s something she has never done with me when we were together.
The moment she met Diego, she switched from the angel I once knew to the devil Mafia’s slut.
“One day,” I muttered, gazing at Anna.
“Did you say something?” Diego asked. He must have heard me murmuring but did hear a word.
“No, it’s nothing. I have to be on my way now,” I lied, taking my eyes off Anna and heading out with my guard.
Diego escorted me to the car as promised and even sent his greetings to Cassandra. “It’s sad she didn’t come with you. We would have all gone out to catch some fun as family. Anyways, do send my greetings to her.”
“I’ll do that,” I smiled, pulling up the window.
Do I look like some messenger that delivers people’s messages?
Casey doesn’t need his greetings. In fact, she doesn’t need to know that I came all the way to Crescent pack without her knowledge.
She’ll only ruin things for me if she discovers what my main motive is behind this deal with the Alpha.
I will pass no greetings to her.
My guard drove off, heading back to Wolf Blood pack. As we drew closer to my mansion, I ordered him not to say a word about our journey to Cassandra, no matter her interrogation.
When I got into my home to relax, “Where are you coming from, Damian? ” Casey questioned, following me around like a fly, until we where in the bedroom.
“Where else do you expect me to come from?” I asked, narrowing my brows at her.
She heaved out noisily, grabbed me by the arm, and said furiously, “Don’t think you can fool me, Damian! I was at the office today, and your secretary said you weren’t in! So, where the fuck are you coming from?!”
“None of your business!” I sparked out and yanked my arm off Casey’s grip, provoking her.
“Must you know everything about my movement just because you’re my Luna?! Haven’t I warned you to stop doing things that will annoy me?!”
She trembled, but her stubbornness wouldn’t leave. She glowered and said, hitting on the fact that I lied to her, ” You are my husband and Alpha. What I want to hear when I come over to the company is that my husband is inside working, not absent when he clearly left his home for the office. I deserve that!”
“No, you don’t. You lost that right after showing me your true self.” I pointed to her, so she’d take note now.
Casey was astounded by my response. Her eyes widened as I went on, venting out in rage.
“Yes, I wasn’t at the company because that’s the tale I gave my secretary to feed my meddling Luna whenever she comes around to stress me. That’s how I bring in peace to my life!”
Casey gasped at this. She was stunned by the lies I just cooked to shun her.
“It hasn’t been a year and you’re already making me regret so many things,” I slammed my hands together to describe the impact of her nonsense on me.
“Every time I always ask myself how and where did I go wrong in making you my Queen. When you said you didn’t want to have any baby, I humbly accepted yoir requested. And when it came to my turn, with me begging for peace, you refused!”
“Are you calling me selfish now? You’re making sound like I don’t really care about your well-being!”
“If you really cared about me, you won’t keep reminding me of your mother’s promise to make me powerful, threatening to take it away from me when you know I’m slamming you with the truth!” I bumped her on the shoulder, not minding if it hurts her or not.
Casey frowned her face, holding back her outburst.
She tightened her fist and said in her defense, “I’ve been taking care of you, Damian.”
“Yeah right. All you’ve ever offered me from day one is sex, trouble, fights, and more sex. That’s the only thing you’re good at, that’s why I told my secretary to tell you all that, you love to hear negative reports about me,” I scoffed, swaying my head at her.
“I bet you’ve gossiped all that you heard from the office, to your mother!” I tsked out, feeling no remorse.
Casey couldn’t speak. She lowered her head in shock, thinking about what I just said.
She must feel like a monster now and I like that.
I want her to see and know how hard it is to cope with a nagging brat like her as a wife. It’s really tough on me!
“Tell your mother I’m napping when she calls. I’m really tired and don’t have time for any drama,” I said, dragging myself to the closet to change.
That’s when Casey said, sounding closer to me, ” I didn’t tell her anything. It’s… It’s not everything she has to know.”
“Oh,” I smiled, turning over to face my Luna. She was standing near, looking innocent after receiving a bucket of backlash on her head.
“It’s not everything she has to know? I’m amazed. When did you learn that, my Queen?”
“Damian, stop it,” She frowned, taking hold of my hand. “I’m sorry, okay? I didn’t mean to trouble you. I was just worried, that’s all, ” She claimed, attempting to hug me.
I rejected it by turning away. Still, she embraced me from behind and appealed, ” How about I make it up to you? When we get to Northern Lights, I’ll give you the best treatment you’ll ever get. I promise to make you feel relaxed.”
She slid her hand all around me, taking it down to my abdomen.
I understand what she’s saying. That’s always her solution out of a problem.
Such a whore. I married a slut indeed.
To stop her from tempting me any further or triggering my cock to rise, I accepted her so-called apology so she’d back off.
She thanked me and decided to go and see if my meal was ready, while I went into the bathroom to have my bath.
At least she’s gone.
.
Wednesday afternoon, we were drawing closer to Northern Lights Pack, making plans to stop at the Alpha’s place and see Henry and as well as the Alpha.
Cassandra blabbered about the dead Gamma and spoke of a news she heard of the Alpha denouncing the dead wolf, due to the fact that he’s a Mafia.
“He’s just like father. Mafias are dangerous and should be wiped out. Bleh!” She rolled her eyes, leaning closer to me.
I didn’t give her much attention, but I was responding to some things so she won’t flame up.
On arriving at the Alpha’s home, we spotted the ruler stepping out of the mansion with… “What?” My eyes popped on seeing Diego and Anastasia walking side by side with the Alpha!
I was expecting Henry, not them!
How are they in Northern Lights?!
“Damian, are you seeing this?!” Casey sparked out in shock. “What are they doing here?!” She flashed and accusing gaze at me, like I’m the one who invited them over.
“Don’t give me those eyes. I’m also shocked as you are!” I defended, glancing back at the duo.
This is surprising. I didn’t know they were coming to this pack.
Now I can’t tell if I should feel suspicious about their sudden appearance or feel happy to see Anna again.
Goddess! Is it me or did her hips pop out more than before? She’s looking really hot.
Looks like my visit to Northern Lights won’t be that bad after all.
Fuck, I’m going to enjoy this.
