DIEGO
I knew Blue Ray was just an excuse to hide his real destination. That Gamma only stopped at the pack and swiftly dived into another vehicle, taking him to Southern Dale Pack.
That pack is known for its busy activities at night. It’s quite lively in the dark, and it’s the hour when nasty wolves and mafias step out to get all crazy.
Not that there aren’t other packs out there like Southern Dale. This particular pack harbours dangerous people from the underworld.
“I could only get that information along with the pictures I sent to you, Alpha, ” He shared, referring to the ones I was looking at in my other phone.
“The Gamma has a past record of hanging out with more women than men. He doesn’t hang out with his fellow gangs too. He likes doing most of his works in solo.”
“I can see that,” I said, looking at the pictures.
“If you gather any other information on Jay, just notify me. There’s no detail that is unwanted,” I said to my source, looking at the Gamma in a photo, sitting alone on a bench with his eyes hovering about.
The eyes of an observant beast.
“The Alpha of Northern Lights sure has a good eye in selecting someone who can run the post of a Gamma,” I said with a smirk, going through the rest.
The Beta of that pack is just like Jay, but he’s not into such dark business like the Gamma.
“We’ll talk later,” I said, ending the call and keeping my focus on the images of the tough Gamma, sliding from one picture to another.
These are photos from months back and current. And in every picture, the Gamma is seen with different ladies, heading somewhere away from his own pack.
“Seems he’s no different from the others. He likes playing dirty with girls,” I observed, scrolling through until I arrived at the last photo of Jay stepping out of a bar with another lady.
“They can’t keep their dicks away from skirts when they see one. And just like Sullivan and Xavier, Jay will fall when he sees Anna,” I believed, thinking about the sneaky rat in my home.
“She played a role in getting them to dance to her tune, and that helped me as well,” I reasoned, recalling that night at the club where she posed as a stripper.
The flashes from the club and her body are still fresh in my memories. I haven’t gotten over the twitch in my hand, reminiscing of her breasts in my grip.
I know I said I don’t want her help and all that, but I need Anna’s skills in getting Jay.
“She just needs to seduce him into falling for her and then I can make my moves when he’s trapped. But will she agree after the way I reacted this morning?” I asked myself, recalling my action at the room and the expression she gave when I invaded her privacy.
“Nah, I don’t think she’ll agree to the plan without making me pay for what I did. She’s going to say no.”
“Alpha Diego!” Anna’s voice called, pulling me out of my thoughts at once.
Just when I was thinking about her, she suddenly showed up like a ghost, hurrying down the stairs.
“Now what does she want?” I sighed, sitting up.
That’s when Anna stood before me and said, ” I know about your plans to chase the Gamma. I overheard your conversation not too long.”
“Ease dropping. One of your special skills of course,” I pointed, smirking at her.
She frowned at me in a cold way, which felt odd seeing that expression on her. Then she said, crossing her arms, “Seems the Gamma is giving you a hard time in trapping him down. Well, I thought about it and realized you need my help in getting him. I am ready to go with you on this mission… That’s if you feel I’m not wanted.”
I was surprised to hear Anna accepting to help me with this plan, without me doing the talking. And here I thought she’d frustrate me if I table the matter to her, but it seems the heavens are on my side. They made my work easy.
“So, what’s it going to be? Is it a Yes or a No?” She asked, narrowing her brows at me, and looking tough.
Staring at her countenance, I had to admit that she was bold when it comes to things like this.
“What’s the catch? What do I have to give as your pay for the job?” I asked, rising to my feet and walking up Anna.
It’s her specialty after all. That’s why I chose to ask before she starts annoying me with her demands later.
Anna took her attention elsewhere and went quiet, thinking about her request. When she got herself back… “We can discuss that after we complete the mission,” She said, amusing me with the calmness in her tone.
“Is everything okay with her? Why does she look kind of different from her usual self?” I observed within, noticing the way she looked serious unlike her annoying self.
My mind kept pointing at my action this morning and I was beginning to feel a bit bothered about the changes in her. But since I’m not the kind of person that shows an interest into matters that concerns feelings, I just shoved it out and said, “Alright, it’s a deal. You can join me in getting the Gamma, then I’ll give you what you want.”
“Okay,” Anna responded coldly, directing her eyes to a different direction.
She didn’t even look at me when she agreed to my decision. She hovered her eyes around, ignoring my presence.
And I’m standing in front of her!
“Is she playing a game on me? Of course she is. She’s a crazy woman after all. I wonder what she’s up to,” I suspected, fixing my gaze at her.
Anna soon noticed my stare and felt weird. She drew back and said, ” I’ll head to my room now.” Her feet dragging further away, before hurrying up the stairs, glancing at me one more time and disappearing through the corridor.
“I can never understand this gender. It’s hard to tell what goes on in that head of theirs. At least, Anna has agreed to help me with Jay. Looks like we’ll be heading off together,” I planned, grabbing my phone to reach out to someone.
Placing the person on call, I ordered, “Get my plane ready for tomorrow evening. We’re heading to Southern Dale.”
I walked away, heading into a pathway down stairs.
