Johnny held a cigarette box in his hand, but didn’t light any of them. He just played with the lighter, occasionally flicking it on and off, while watching her.
There were no further movements or words.
Tilda never expected him to actually dare to appear in front of her parents, so she was genuinely displeased!
She didn’t want her parents to know about her ridiculous actions. She couldn’t possibly tell them that their precious daughter was fooling around outside and actively asking a guy if he wanted to sleep with her.

The lighter was pressed. Flames burst out, and then the lid was closed again.
Johnny gritted his teeth a few times to restrain his temper before speaking, “Your dad said you’re going on a blind date. Is that true?”
“It’s true.” Tilda didn’t have any intention of hiding it.
She didn’t need to hide anything from Johnny either!
“What about me?” Johnny lowered his eyes and grabbed a cigarette. It might be Tilda’s imagination, but his hand seemed to be trembling a bit.
“What do you mean?”
“You admitted that you’re my girlfriend in front of my mom, and now you’re going on a blind date.”
Johnny was trying hard to control his anger and didn’t want to argue with Tilda right away!
Especially considering that he hadn’t rested much these past few days and didn’t have much energy left.
“That’s what you said! What if I didn’t admit it at that time?” Tilda kept some distance between them, speaking in a low voice so as not to be heard by her parents upstairs. “Did you drive here?”
“Yeah.”
“Let’s talk in your car.” Tilda glanced at the time. There were only a few hours left before the date, so she needed to get rid of this troublemaker quickly.
Johnny watched as she walked past him. She was wearing new clothes and even putting on some light makeup and perfume. She looked different from the Tilda he had seen before.
There was no need to think twice-she was dressed up for this blind date.
She seemed quite enthusiastic about it.
Johnny put the cigarette box and lighter into his pocket and followed Tilda with long strides.
“Where’s your car?”
“This one.” Johnny opened the door of the black Audi A7 next to them.
Tilda frowned slightly.
No wonder she didn’t notice him coming! He changed cars.
To avoid suspicion, Tilda deliberately sat in the back seat. But as soon as she raised her head, she saw Johnny open the back door and get in.
If she got out now, it would seem deliberate.
“I mentioned before that after we having sex three times, there would be no more connection between us. I can’t do it anymore. I don’t want to sleep with you,” Tilda spoke first.
After all, it was she whobrought it up and then go back on her word. She felt a little guilty, and her voice became much smaller.
“I can see that.”
“So, Mr. Chow, go flirt with other women and leave me alone, okay? Look at me-average looks, average figure, and my family background is nowhere near yours. You say you want me to be your girlfriend, but how can I believe that?” Tilda didn’t hold back, laying her thoughts bare. “I’m not a kid anymore. When I date, it’s usually with marriage in mind. Our goals are different. Even if I said yes, it would just mean we’d sleep together a few more times, that’s all.”
Johnny’s dark eyes locked onto her, and his lips pressed tightly. “And that other guy-can that man marry you?”
“Probably. I haven’t met him myself, but my parents introduced us. He should also understand without saying anything.”
“How do you know if he’s playing around and will break up once he’s had enough of you?”
“I don’t know,” Tilda replied. “But at least we come from similar family backgrounds.”
