The wedding had just taken place, and she was still immersed in happiness, with the scenes vividly in her mind. So, Agnes felt a strong urge to create. Holding the mouse, she continued drawing from where she left off, sketching the images in her mind and then coloring them. A beach wedding was every girl’s dream, and capturing its beauty required considerable skill. With each line that appeared on the computer screen, a smile grew on her lips, the happiness truly filling the air.
In this comic, Agnes referred to the male lead as Mr. Kitten, a term of endearment and affection that was uniquely hers. When this comic was published, it would surely resonate with readers, and the name Mr. Kitten might become popular for a while.
Arkpool City, at a university, a place brimming with youthful energy. In a spacious office for teachers, the environment was well-arranged with numerous green plants inside. The desks were lined up neatly, and the chairs were custom-made for comfort. Teachers rarely gathered all at once since university schedules were different from high school.
A month earlier, news from the academic office mentioned that a new female art teacher, an outstanding graduate in fine arts, would be joining to teach art. That day, after class, Ansel entered the office with his teaching materials and was immediately drawn to a figure watering plants by the window. For a moment, he thought he saw Agnes; his chest tightened inexplicably as he instinctively managed his expression.
Hearing footsteps at the door, the girl with the watering can turned her head. Standing in the backlit window, her gaze met Ansel’s. She smiled slightly and said, “Mr. Johnsons?”
She had seen his photo in an interview and heard about his talent; he looked even more handsome in person. At that time of day, only they were in the office since many teachers had already left for the evening.
“Yes,” Ansel replied politely with a smile and nodded. He placed his cup and materials on his desk and noticed some feminine items on the adjacent desk, guessing she was his new neighbor.
“Hello, Mr. Johnsons. I’m Susan Clark, the new art teacher,” she said warmly and cheerfully as she put down the watering can and extended her hand to him.
Ansel shook her hand. “Nice to meet you, Miss Clark. I’m Ansel.”
“Pleasure to meet you,” she said admiringly, dimples appearing on her cheeks as she smiled brightly.
Ansel stared at her for a moment, slightly lost in thought because when she smiled, she bore a striking resemblance to Agnes.

In the evening.
At the beautiful Fritz Manor, the entire building seemed gilded by the setting sun. The sunlight streamed through the windows into the study where Agnes was still working on her comic. Except for lunch breaks and occasional stretches, she had been sitting at her desk creating all day long. The plot was sweet, and so was her mood throughout the day.
Tom had called earlier to say he was coming back and would take her for driving practice; he asked her to get ready. Agnes told him she would wait downstairs after finishing this page of her manuscript.
She wasn’t yet proficient at driving despite having enrolled in driving school recently; she hadn’t even scheduled an exam yet. Like many girls, she felt nervous behind the wheel. Tom often accompanied her for practice whenever he could to help her overcome this fear.
At that moment, Tom’s car was already heading back to the manor against the sunset. Agnes quickly exited her software and shut down her computer. She changed into flat shoes and went downstairs happily and expectantly.
Guessing Tom would arrive soon and thrilled at seeing him again! She felt truly happy!
Love is anticipation; even just meeting someone can make one feel incredibly excited.
