Johnny straightened his coat and was about to lean against the car for a quick nap because he was really exhausted.
Suddenly!
Johnny sat up straight and hurriedly took out his phone to call his secretary.
“Bring your car over!”
“Huh?”
“Bring your car over, and then drive my car to my garage.”
His own car was too conspicuous in this neighborhood. Even Tilda, as foolish as she was, could figure out what was going on. But any car in his garage would stand out in this neighborhood!
Only his secretary’s car would do. It would be passable. It wouldn’t be too abrupt for it to appear in this neighborhood.
“Tilda, oh, Tilda, I’ve only been so attentive to you!”
Johnny sneered, started the engine, and drove his car a bit further away from the neighborhood to wait for his secretary.
To prevent Tilda from finding him!

Rosalind could sleep soundly next to Ulric.
When she woke up the next day, she felt refreshed.
She had to wake up before Rebecca came to change Ulric’s bandages. She quickly freshened up and waited for Rebecca.
“Knock knock.”
Right on time, Rebecca knocked on the door from outside.
Rosalind wiped her hands and walked over to open it.
“Good morning, Miss Ruell!” Today, Rebecca surprisingly wasn’t wearing a white coat but a white dress, looking like an angel.
She walked in with the medicine and said as she walked, “I have something to do today, so I won’t be at the hospital after changing your bandages. I’ll be back tomorrow! If you need anything, just give me a call. There are other doctors at the hospital, and I’ve informed them about possible situations.”
Rosalind nodded. “Okay.”
She could tell that Rebecca must have something important to attend to today. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have taken off her perpetually worn white coat.
In a casual tone, Rosalind asked, “Dr. Stewart, you look really beautiful today. Where are you off to?”
“My parents insisted I attend some event,” Rebecca replied, her hands still busy as she carefully changed Ulric’s bandage. “I think it might be a blind date, but I’m not entirely sure.”
“Dr. Stewart, are you going on a blind date?”
“I don’t know for certain, but I have a feeling it is!” Rebecca chuckled. “They’ve been pushing me for a while, but I haven’t been in the mood to find a boyfriend. This time, I can’t put it off any longer. I can tell my parents are feeling a bit stressed, so I have to go.”
Rosalind nodded. “Well, I hope you meet someone special, Dr. Stewart.”
Rebecca waved her hand dismissively. “Not likely. I’m just going through the motions.”
Rosalind laughed, thinking how optimistic and pure Rebecca was. Surely, fate would bring her a good partner.
After Rebecca finished changing the dressing and left, Rosalind approached Ulric’s bedside and waved her hand in front of his eyes. “Dr. Stewart looked stunning, didn’t she?”
Ulric paused his work and looked up at her. “What do you mean?”
“You didn’t see?”
“I was reviewing contracts.” Ulric turned his computer screen toward her.
Rosalind pouted. “You really missed out. Dr. Stewart looked especially lovely today.”
Ulric was almost done with the contracts and found her comment a little off.
Raising an eyebrow, he pulled her closer. “You don’t think there’s something going on between me and Dr. Stewart, do you?”
“I don’t.”
“Rosalind, stop with your wild imagination. It has to be you.”
