Ariel woke up with a blinding headache, a piercing headache she’d never felt before.
She winced as the pain hit her hard when she tried to open her eyes. She slowed down for a second, trying to remember where she was. She could feel the soft bed beneath her body, letting her know she was lying on the bed. But she couldn’t even remember how she got to the bed; all she could remember was Viktor asking her to drink two glasses of alcohol, and any event after that was a blurry vision in her mind; she couldn’t give an account for anything after that.
She felt her body aching all over and slowly went to stretch herself but suddenly paused when she felt someone’s hard body behind her, that’s when she also noticed that there was a heavy hand holding her possessively on her waist.
‘Something wasn’t right!’ She thought in alarm.
She neglected the pounding headache and slowly forced her eyes open. She urgently needed to see what was happening around her.
As she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Aiden’s hand, which was serving as a pillow beneath her head.
She didn’t want to jump to conclusions yet, so she slowly looked down at her body, and that was when her features turned mortified.
She was naked! Naked to the toe, and without looking behind her, she could also feel Aiden’s warm and naked body against hers.
“Oh no, what have I done?” She whispered shakily.
Immediately, memories of what happened last night rushed through her mind, and as they kept flashing like a flashcard in her brain, she froze in place, embarrassed, disappointed, and very, very confused.
“What have I done?!” She whispered louder this time.
She couldn’t believe she had done all that, what had gotten into her last night. Aiden must be looking at her as a whore now.
She’d never gotten so embarrassed her whole life.
‘I have to leave,’ She quickly thought.
Ariel decided to leave before Aiden woke up, even if the headache was killing her, she’d rather endure the pain than stay back and face first-hand embarrassment in front of Aiden.
She slowly tried to move away from Aiden but she suddenly got drawn back into his arms, his hands getting tighter around her.
Ariel froze, shutting her eyes immediately to pretend she was still asleep as she thought he had woken up, but she felt his steady breathing behind her and took a deep breath, relieved he was still sleeping.
She waited until his arm relaxed and loosened up on his tight hold around her waist before she tried again.
She slowly moved her hand above her body and gently held Aiden’s hand. She waited, checking if he would react. He didn’t.
She went ahead to lift his hand off her body and slowly kept it down between their bodies behind her, then very subtly, she lifted herself and rolled away from Aiden’s side.
When she looked back at him and saw him still sleeping soundly, she quickly climbed down from the bed and tip-toed into the bathroom.
As she took her shower, she saw different parts of her body marked with hickeys, and her whole body felt like she had done a very strenuous exercise the night before.
But all her pain, even her headache, couldn’t compare to how sore she felt between her legs. She was very uncomfortable down there, and she knew why.
A memory of how she had asked Aiden to fuck her harder last night kept running left and right in her head, and she felt like digging a hole in the ground and burying herself.
She blamed the alcohol, and from that moment, she swore never to bring that cursed liquid close to her lips anymore. The consequences attached to the aftermath of drinking were horrible.
Ariel was glad that Aiden kept sleeping as she quickly dressed and ran out of the house.

Aiden woke up much later and the first thing he did was reach out his hand beside him as if he was searching for someone or something, but, when he realized that what he was searching for wasn’t beside him, he instantly sat up and opened his sleepy eyes, looking all around the bed and the whole room.
He frowned, wondering where Ariel would have gone to.
He slowly stood and walked straight to the bathroom to check for her, but he still came out disappointed when he couldn’t find her in there.
He never thought she would have been able to get out of bed, given the painful headache he knew she’d be getting now from her hungover.
He had even wanted to suggest that she stayed home today, and maybe… he wouldn’t mind staying home too just to accompany her.
But he wasn’t that worried; he knew she couldn’t leave the house today; she’d be very tired from her hungover and from what they had done the previous night. She should be somewhere around the house, trying to hide from him, probably feeling embarrassed and didn’t know how to face him.
Aiden couldn’t wait to go downstairs and see her face this morning; maybe they could even address some serious issues concerning their contract.
And, maybe, just maybe, he would suggest they terminate the damned contracts and start on a new page.
He never knew that Ariel had such a cute, yet wild side to her, she was so endearing and sexy last night, and he wished she was by his side this morning so he would show her just how addicted she’s gotten him, he wasn’t lying when he told her that he was getting addicted to her, he meant every word of it.
He was still surprised at how their relationship was turning out, but he wasn’t complaining; after all, it was their life, and they could do whatever they wanted with no excuse from anyone.
He didn’t mind figuring out this new feeling between them with her, he was ready to take it one step at a time and slowly find out what he was feeling.
Aiden had a quick shower, after which he threw on a plain Jean and a white top and then eagerly went downstairs.
For the first time, he felt very excited about living with someone; he imagined that this was how couples felt, living together every day yet always eager to see the other person.
“Good morning, Mr. Chaz; wow, you seem to be in high spirits this morning; any good news?” Anna asked as Aiden walked down the stairs with his lips curled up in a small smile.
“Morning, Anna, have you seen my wife?” He asked her, searching the whole house with his eyes.
Anna was taken aback by his choice of name for Ariel.
He normally called her Ariel or just Ms Ariel, but this morning, he had called her his wife and was even smiling a little; she could count on one hand how many times she’d seen her boss smiling.
Something was up.
“Oh, yes, sir. I happened to come to work very early this morning and I saw her just about to step out of the gate,” Anna replied and was surprised to see the smile fall from Aiden’s face.
Anna blinked in confusion, ‘Have I said something wrong?’ She thought, scared she had mistakenly offended her boss.
Aiden clenched his fists, “She left the gates?” He questioned lowly.
Anna nodded, “Yes, Mr. Chaz.”
“And did you ask her where she was going so early in the morning?” He asked, his eyes narrowing at the poor woman.
Anna was scared, “N-no, Mr. Chaz, I didn’t ask her.” She answered.
Aiden’s face turned murderous, “You didn’t?” His voice was dark and deep, sending fear to whoever heard it.
“Y-yes, Mr. Chaz, I – I had just greeted her and she told me she was off to work,” Anna supplied.
Aiden suddenly looked up at the woman’s face. “She said work?” He asked with a little tilt of his head.
“Yes, Sir,” Anna replied.
Aiden simply nodded at her and went back up to his room.
She went to work? Then he was going to work too. Did she think she could hide from him after seducing him last night? She better have a rethink; he didn’t play like that; she had promised to be responsible for her actions, and she better mean it.

Aiden arrived at his company and went right onto his elevator; when he reached his floor, he quickly stepped out and strode in the direction of Ariel’s office, but before he could reach it, his manager, Anthony, blocked his path with his head bowed.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Chaz, but the design department has something very urgent that needs your attention,” Antony informed.
Aiden paused, sighing quietly in frustration; he would have wanted nothing but to get inside Ariel’s office and ask her why she left him after what happened between them last night.
He looked at his manager and found a familiar face beside him, but he couldn’t remember where he’d seen her face; he didn’t care; he wanted to attend to them and go meet Ariel; she owed him some serious explanations.
“Good morning, Mr. Chaz,” The girl beside Anthony greeted very softly.
“Mr. Chaz, this is Eva; she’ll be showing you all the designs that need to be worked on,” Anthony introduced.
Aiden nodded absent-mindedly, “Alright, Eva, bring it to my office.” He said and walked off.
Eva had a secret gleam on her face; she was closer to her goals, next plan, seduction plans…
