Chapter 70

Book:Anything For You, Daddy Published:2025-2-9

The sleek sports car purred as Lucas guided it through the winding coastal roads after dropping Sophia home. Emily slouched in the passenger seat, her fingers drumming against her thigh as the familiar scenery of Seabridge blurred past on the way to the shopping centre.
“There’s a sex toy shop in that shopping centre, isn’t there, Daddy?” Emily asked, her voice low and teasing.
Lucas’ eyes flicked to her, a smirk playing on his lips. “Yes, baby girl, there is.”
Emily’s heart raced, a delicious thrill running through her. “Good,” she purred, shifting in her seat. “Because you made certain promises that I expect you to fulfil, daddy.”
Lucas’ grip on the steering wheel tightened. “Fuck, Em. You’re going to be the death of me.”
She laughed, the sound rich and full of promise. “But what a way to go, right?”
As they pulled into the car park, Emily’s mind raced with possibilities. After the emotional rollercoaster of the past few days, she craved the simplicity of desire, of giving herself over to pleasure.
“What are you thinking about getting?” Lucas asked as they walked towards the entrance, his hand resting possessively on the small of her back.
Emily bit her lip, considering. “Maybe that plug you mentioned? And… I don’t know. Surprise me.”
Lucas growled low in his throat. “Dangerous words, baby girl. You might not know what you’re getting yourself into.”
Emily batted her eyelashes, lips curved in a coy smile as she gazed at Lucas through the sweep of her chestnut hair.
“I trust you to look after me, Daddy,” she purred, her tone dripping with feigned innocence.
Lucas’ blue eyes darkened, a low growl rumbling in his chest. Emily felt a thrill race down her spine at the sound. God, the effect this man had on her was intoxicating.
“You’re playing with fire, baby girl,” Lucas warned, his voice husky.
Emily leaned in closer, her breath ghosting over his ear. “Maybe I want to get burned.”
Lucas’ hand shot out, fingers tangling in her hair as he yanked her head back. Emily gasped, heat pooling low in her belly.
“Careful what you wish for,” he growled. “I might just give it to you.”
Emily’s heart raced. She knew she was pushing his buttons, deliberately provoking him. But she couldn’t help herself. The anticipation, the edge of danger – it was addictive.
“Promise?” she breathed.
Lucas released her hair, trailing his fingers down her neck. “Let’s go shopping. Then we’ll see about fulfilling some promises.”
Emily pouted playfully. “You’re no fun.”
“Patience, baby girl,” Lucas smirked. “Good things come to those who wait.”
As they exited the car, Emily’s mind raced with possibilities. What delights awaited them in that little shop of wonders? She shivered, equal parts nervous and excited.
Whatever happened, she knew Lucas would take care of her. And that knowledge was the biggest thrill of all
Emily’s hand felt warm and secure in Lucas’ as they stepped through the sliding doors of the shopping centre. The cool air conditioning hit her skin, a welcome relief from the heat outside. She tried to focus on the comforting weight of Lucas beside her, but she couldn’t help noticing the sideways glances and whispers from other shoppers.
‘Just ignore them,’ she told herself firmly, lifting her chin. But her fingers tightened involuntarily around Lucas’.
He squeezed back reassuringly, leaning down to murmur in her ear. “I’ve got an idea, baby girl. Why don’t you head to Victoria’s Secret and pick out something special for tonight? I’ll pop into Ann Summers.”
A thrill ran through Emily at his words. She turned, rising on her toes to whisper back. “Sounds perfect, Daddy. Can’t wait to see what you choose.”
She pressed a lingering kiss to his stubbled cheek, relishing the rough texture against her lips. As she pulled away, she caught the hungry look in his blue eyes and smirked. Let people stare. She was done caring what anyone thought.
With a sway of her hips, Emily strode towards Victoria’s Secret, leaving Lucas watching her go. Her mind raced with possibilities. What would he pick out? What should she choose to drive him wild later?
The store’s pink and black facade loomed ahead. Emily took a deep breath, straightened her shoulders, and stepped inside. Time to have some fun.
Emily’s fingers trailed over silky lace and delicate straps, her mind wondering how the sheer fabric would feel against her skin. Her phone buzzed, Lucas’ name lighting up the screen.
Daddy: No underwear. Or open back and crotchless. No panties is probably best, baby girl.
Baby Girl: Anything for you, daddy.
Glancing around furtively, Emily’s cheeks flushed. Did the other shoppers know what kind of dirty messages she was sending? She imagined their scandalized faces if they could read her texts.
‘Focus, Carter,’ she told herself. ‘You’re on a mission.’
Emily zeroed in on a sheer black babydoll with an open back. Perfect. She grabbed it off the rack, along with a few other options. Might as well give the man a show.
As she headed to the fitting room, Emily’s mind drifted to Lucas. What toys was he picking out? Her skin tingled with anticipation.
She’d never been one for kink before. But something about Lucas made her want to explore. To push boundaries. To be a good girl. To be his good girl.
Emily shook her head, stifling a laugh. Who was she becoming? And why did she love it so damn much?
Emily’s heart raced as she took photos of the lingerie sets she picked out, her fingers trembling slightly. The dressing room mirror reflected back three very different sides of herself; alluring, vulnerable, powerful. She exhaled slowly, scrolling through the images.
“Fuck it,” she muttered, deciding to buy all three lingerie sets. A sheer black robe caught her eye as she headed to pay. Perfect.
Outside Victoria’s Secret, Emily fired off a quick text to Lucas.
Baby Girl: Going to find some fuck-me heels. Sneak peek for daddy…
She attached the photos, biting her lip as she hit send. A thrill ran through her, imagining Lucas’ reaction.
As she strode towards the shoe stores, her phone buzzed.
Daddy: Christ, baby girl. You’re killing me here.
Baby Girl: That’s the idea, daddy. Just wait til tonight.
She tucked her phone away, scanning storefronts. Her mind drifted to their earlier conversation about Ryan. A pang of anxiety twisted her stomach.
“No,” Emily whispered fiercely. “Not letting that asshole ruin this.”
She squared her shoulders, marching into the first shoe store with renewed determination. Tonight was about her and Lucas. Everything else could wait.
Emily’s phone buzzed again as she browsed the stilettos. She smirked, pulling it out.
Daddy: I hope you realise I’m now walking around trying not to let my erection show too obviously.
Baby Girl: Sorry, daddy.
She hit send, then added another photo of one of her new lingerie sets for good measure.
Daddy: You’re going to have to be punished if you keep being this naughty, baby girl.
Emily’s core clenched at his words.
Baby Girl: Maybe that’s what I want.
She set the phone down, her heart racing. What the hell had gotten into her? This wasn’t the timid, predictable Emily of a few months ago. This was someone bolder, freer. Someone who knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to go after it.
“Fuck,” she muttered, running a hand through her hair. “What are you doing to me, Lucas?”
But even as she asked the question, she knew the answer. He wasn’t changing her. He was freeing her to be who she’d always been.
Emily’s fingers trailed over the sleek black and red heels, a wicked grin spreading across her face. Perfect. She snatched them up, not bothering to check the price tag.
As she waited in line to pay, Emily fired off another text.
Baby Girl: Got my shoes. Lunch? I’m craving sushi.
Her stomach growled in agreement. The morning’s… activities had worked up quite an appetite.
Daddy: Sounds good, baby girl. Meet you out front of Sakura in 10.
Emily’s pulse quickened. Just picturing Lucas’ face, those piercing blue eyes raking over her body, sent a shiver down her spine.
“Focus, Carter,” she muttered, handing her card to the cashier.
Outside the store, Emily paused to adjust her blouse, suddenly self-conscious. Was she being too obvious? Did everyone know what filthy thoughts were running through her head?
‘Fuck it,’ she decided, squaring her shoulders. Let them stare.
She strode towards the sushi restaurant, heels clicking purposefully against the tile. As she rounded the corner, she caught sight of Lucas waiting by the entrance. His eyes locked onto hers, a predatory gleam igniting as he took in her flushed cheeks and slightly disheveled appearance.
“Well hello there, baby girl,” he purred, pulling her close. “Worked up an appetite?”
Emily smirked, leaning into Lucas’ embrace. “You have no idea, daddy,” she whispered, her breath hot against his ear.
Lucas’ hand slid down to the small of her back as he guided her towards the restaurant entrance. The heat of his palm seeped through her thin blouse, sending tingles across her skin.
He pulled open the door, ushering her inside with a gentlemanly flourish that belied the hungry look in his eyes. “After you.”
The hostess led them to a table by the window, sunlight streaming in to illuminate the polished wood and gleaming silverware. As they settled into their seats, Emily couldn’t help but notice the curious glances from nearby diners. She felt a thrill of excitement, wondering if they could sense the electric tension crackling between her and Lucas.
“See anything you like?” Lucas asked, his voice low and husky as he perused the menu.
Emily bit her lip, fighting back a grin. “Oh, I see plenty I like. But I suppose we should order some food too.”
Lucas chuckled, his foot brushing against hers under the table. “Behave yourself, baby girl. Or I might have to teach you a lesson right here in this restaurant.”
A waiter approached, notepad at the ready. “Are you folks ready to order?”
Emily locked eyes with Lucas, her gaze challenging. “I think we’re ready, aren’t we?”
