~ YULIA
I knew she was going to be trouble from the way she stood with her hands on her hips.
She stood like she owned the place. She was in a very expensive dress that hugged her body and showed off her seductive curves. Its shoulders were off and was drowned in silver with sparkling matching shoes.
The dress was in contrast to her stark blue eyes and fiery red hair that flowed down her back with expensive ease.
“You slept over,” She said looking around coldly. She was not asking questions.
From the first time I looked her over, I decided that I was going to bide my time with her and not let her think she could bully me around. I wasn’t the rebel back home for nothing.
“And you must be the crazy and obsessive girlfriend he told me about,” I replied. “Hi, I am Yulia, his emotional therapist.” I stretched out my hand.
“You are a funny one,” She replied in that same cold tone.
“I admire your observational skill, is that what drew him to you?” I teased as I wore a smirk.
She smiled this time and shook her head. “You have claws… I like that.”
“Flattery will get you nowhere, lady.” I folded my arms at her.
Her eyes roamed to the dress on the bed before bringing them back to me. A quick look of disbelief passed her face.
“For a sex therapist, he sure is spending a lot on you,” She said. “What area of whoring yourself out to him do you specialize in actually? I am just curious.”
Ouch. Bitch!
“Patient and doctor confidentiality,” I replied with sarcasm. “If you really mattered like you believed, he would have told you his… sexual problems.” I winked at her.
She scoffed in surprise. “Look here you-”
The door blasted open and Issa barged in. There was worry in his eyes but when he settled it on me, he relaxed.
“I see you two have met,” Issa began in an attempt to ease the tension he had brought with him. I could tell that he was uneasy.
“Dearest Issa,” The crazy lady answered with a deep smile. A smile that I knew meant something else was between them.
“You did not tell me you were coming.” Issa was still visibly uncomfortable.
“I did not realize that I needed permission.” She shot me a disgusted look.
“You do now,” Issa replied curtly.
“Because of her?” She blurted and the venom was back.
“Andrea, this is not the time and place, it’s morning, let my guest get dressed,” Issa said in a cold tone.
He really wanted this awkward meeting to end. I liked him a little for that- just a little.
“I will be waiting for you downstairs,” Andrea said as she glared at me before graciously walking out of the room.
Issa and I were left alone and I heaved a sigh of relief. I was still in my towel and he was standing there with his hair all tousled from sleep.
And that was when my treacherous wolf and body decided to start stirring up thoughts in my head- wild thoughts.
“You sure know how to pick them,” I began, unable to help myself as a small but forced chuckle left my lips.
I had no idea why I felt a burning sting at my core.
“There is nothing going on between us,” Issa replied curtly.
“I don’t remember asking.” An amused smile formed on my lips as I peered at him.
He cleared his throat and scoffed in amusement. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arm.
“You think that low of me?” He asked.
“I don’t know what you are talking about,” I said as I straightened the dress on the bed.
“I think you do,” He insisted. “You judge me because of my perceived taste in women.”
“Well… yes,” I said with an attitude. “Have you met Andrea?”
Yara stirred at her name and I knew she immediately hated her. I could not tell if it was because of Andrea’s sour behavior or because I knew things had gone down between them.
“Andrea and I are not together,” he said with a shrug.
“But you have fucked each other’s brains out,” I blurted out.
What the fuck was wrong with me?
“You sound jealous.” He pointed out and pushed off the wall. He walked towards me with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
“You wish.” I barely said as my knees went weak with the expectation of him touching me.
“Do you want me to fuck your brains out?” Issa huskily asked as he groped me to his hard muscled body. The slit between my legs was heating up.
I knew that I had to be very careful about my answer.
“In your dreams,” I whispered and softly pushed him back. I prayed that he had not caught on to my moment of weakness.
“I will be waiting for you in my dreams then.” He smiled before entering the bathroom.
“Wear something casual, the ceremony is still late in the night,” he called from the bathroom.
I checked my luggages for something casual. I settled for cargo pants and a black hoodie. Then I fished out a pair of my favorite soft leather boots.
Issa came out of the bathroom with a towel on his head. I swallowed hungrily as I watched water streak down his body. He was in black fitted jeans and he was looking through his closet for a shirt.
We both left the room together after he settled for a green turtle neck. He looked smart as he wore a pair of loafers.
“I am not looking forward to having breakfast with your girlfriend, Issa,” I said as we both passed the living room.
“You spoke too soon,” He replied as I stepped into the dinner room. I had wanted to ask what he meant by that statement but the question died in my throat.
There were two other women who were strikingly beautiful and dressed to kill just like Andrea. They also had her red hair.
“Yulia, meet the Craven Sisters.” He pulled a chair for me to sit. “That’s Leia, the youngest and Iris, the oldest,” He added.
“Wait,” I said. “As in the Craven Industries?”
“So you have heard of us,” Andrea answered, a satisfied smile playing across her lips.
“I did not know that you were interested in business,” Issa said.
“I did a design gig for one of their fashion agencies,” I replied.
“At least you know your place.” Andrea folded her arms.
“What was the project?” Iris gave me a curious stare.
“Lingeries by Black Rose,” I replied.
“Ah, yes, I remember that,” Iris’ eyes lit up. “That one made a fortune. I am wearing one as we speak.”
“Glad you liked it,” I said.
“It was not that good,” Andrea said coldly.
I shrugged. “Does not matter to me, I made my money,” I said and began to eat.
“Yulia?” The one called Leia called me.
“Yes?”
“You know Issa has fucked everyone of us on this table, right?”
