ALESSIA
“You’re really rude, Claude!” I whispered loudly after putting on my earphones. I knew my son hadn’t fully fallen asleep yet. He might wake up if I spoke too loudly. “What are you telling Adrian, huh?”
My husband just grinned and gestured, asking if our son was asleep. I shook my head slightly.
“Put on a headset so other people won’t hear you,” I instructed.
“It’s not necessary because I’m alone here anyway. I already sent my secretary home because I planned to call you before I left. But you beat me to it.”
I smirked. “I needed to talk to you about the interior design of the house you bought. I also looked for pictures of the items you need to buy. Just find someone to help you with the purchases and arrangements.”
“That’s nice. I’ll find someone to assist me in setting up the house. Just send the designs and pictures to my email.”
“Sure, what’s your email address?”
“I’ll type it here,” Claude replied.
Once I got Claude’s email address, I immediately sent him the designs and pictures. “I’ve sent them. But let me explain the pictures to you.”
“Okay, I’m listening,” Claude responded.
I explained each picture I sent, and Claude patiently listened, occasionally asking questions or giving suggestions.
“It might be better if you’re here to supervise the house arrangement yourself. What do you think?”
I scratched my head. “How can I do that if I’m already here? If I go there, where will I stay while the house is being arranged? I don’t want to live in your mansion.”
“I’ll find us a temporary place to stay. Bring Adrian too so we don’t have to worry while you’re fixing the house,” Claude suggested.
“Okay, I agree. When will you pick us up?”
“Tomorrow. I’ll travel during lunchtime so we’ll be back here by dusk.”
“Okay. Pia has already informed Adrian’s school. But please, I don’t want to stay in your condo. If you can’t find a house, let’s just stay in a hotel for a few days.”
“I’ll take care of it, Sweetpea. If only I had a chopper, I’d pick you and Adrian up tonight. I just placed an order, but it might not arrive until next month.”
I widened my eyes at Claude. “Are you serious? You ordered a helicopter? What’s that for? It seems like a waste of money.”
“Nah! It won’t be a waste because I’ve been planning to buy one for emergencies.”
“Up to you. By the way, who are you going to hire as the pilot? It should be someone nice and trustworthy.”
“I don’t need a pilot because I’ll be the one flying. I can use what I learned in the SEAL.”
“Really? I thought you only knew how to drive a car. You can also pilot?”
“Of course. All of that is part of our training in the SEAL. I even know how to operate a yacht. Sometime, I’ll take you and Adrian to the yacht club so you can see the yacht I’m talking about.”
“You also have a yacht?”
“Yes, I do.”
I was stunned by Claude’s revelation. My husband is indeed wealthy. He already had a yacht, yet he still wanted to buy a helicopter.
“Let’s stop talking about yachts and helicopters for now. Let’s have a proper conversation,” Claude said with a mischievous grin.
“We’ve been talking since earlier. What else do you mean by a proper conversation?”
“Is our son asleep?”
I nodded.
“In that case, go downstairs and prepare your place on the floor.”
I blinked in surprise. “What are we going to do?” I asked cautiously.
Claude sighed. “Didn’t you tell our son that we’ll be practicing, so he went to sleep early? What are you waiting for? Come down so we can make the most of it.”
“Claude!” I exclaimed in shock.
“Don’t want to? You told me last night that we would do it again today, didn’t you?”
I swallowed as if something blocked my throat. “Can we do it tomorrow instead, when you pick us up?”
“Why delay it if we can do it now?”
I didn’t respond. I just glanced at Adrian lying beside me. He had his eyes closed and seemed to be asleep. But I was worried he might wake up if Claude and I made noise.
“Hey, Sweetpea, I’m waiting. You’re taking so long to decide. Do you want me to help you?”
“What help?” My forehead creased in confusion.
Claude replied, but I noticed he was already taking off his coat. He removed his necktie before unbuttoning his long-sleeved polo.
I swallowed hard as Claude’s broad shoulders and solid chest came into view when he stood up. Then I saw his toned abs.
I couldn’t help but touch the screen of my laptop as if I could feel my husband’s body. But my hand trembled when I saw Claude unfastening his belt and pulling down his pants along with his boxers, exposing his length. I clenched my fist when Claude’s full glory was revealed to me, standing proudly.
“How was the view? Did you enjoy looking at it?” Claude asked.
My whole face flushed at his question. Wasn’t it obvious? Did this jerk really have to ask me?
“Just get undressed. I’ll just take off my shoes and socks,” Claude said.
I got off the bed and grabbed the quilt draped over the chair. For some unknown reason, I took that quilt from the Cleopatra-couch in the living room. It seemed to be in the back of my mind that I could use it now. I spread it out on the floor. Then, I picked up my laptop from the bed and positioned it properly on the quilt.
Almost drooling, I looked back at the screen. How could Claude be sitting naked on the floor, leaning against the sofa? His hand was gliding along his length as he played with his own tongue.
“You’re such a nuisance, Claude! You’re driving me crazy!” I muttered, quickly taking off my thin nightdress.
Claude burst out laughing. “Don’t forget your earphones, Sweetpea! You might disturb our son with your noise!”
I rolled my eyes. I hurriedly grabbed the earphones from the table and unhooked my bra, taking off my panties. Squatting on the quilt, I put the earphones in my ears.
“Hey! I can’t see the view, Sweetpea. Spread your legs,” he ordered.
I blinked. Something else came to my mind. I had been feeling hot and bothered for a while now. But I was annoyed with Claude. He made me feel like a wanton woman, something I only realized now. I was craving something else.
