Ariel Ann was getting used to her recent identity more and more.
After work, Ariel drove to get to the Anderson family. As she reached Louisa, she parked the car and walked towards the boutique. The door slid open and she stepped inside.
“Welcome to Louisa’s boutique” a cheerful voice greeted her.
“Thank you! What a lovely place you have here”, Ariel Ann replied, taking in the elegant displays of clothing and accessories. The boutique was a haven for fashion enthusiasts and those seeking to add to their collection.
“I’m glad you think so, ma’am! Is there anything specific you’re looking for today?” The sales assistant asked.
Just as she was about to tell the sales assistant that she wanted to buy a trench coat, she suddenly saw a familiar figure.
It was the woman she had met just a week ago at the bouquet. What a coincidence, Ariel Thought.
When she saw Ariel Ann, she walked towards her in her red high heels.
“Look who we have here. What a coincidence to see you here” Maria exclaimed, a smile lighting up her face.
“What a small world!” Ariel Ann felt awkward.
From what I know, this woman should be someone who had a relationship with that devil.
She had no enmity towards the woman, but she felt the need to pay attention.
“Miss Ann, it’s a pleasure to meet you again” Ariel Ann frowned.
Miss Ann? You might be my husband’s mistress, but I’m his wife.
“Ma’am, what a pleasant surprise” Maria couldn’t help but glance at Ariel Ann.
“What did you want to buy?” I will pay for whatever you bought here today. Consider it a gift from me”. Maria turned to the sales assistant with a broad smile,” Whatever this woman wants to buy, swipe my card.”
Ariel looked on with a puzzled expression.
“No, need thanks” she rejected her officer respectfully.
“Come on, I just told you to consider it a gift from me to you.”
“I do appreciate it, but how can I buy a gift for someone with your money,” Ariel Ann said with a dimpled grin and a smile that reached her eyes.
Maria didn’t fail to notice Ariel Ann’s pink cheeks and smiled, “Ariel Ann, I wonder if it has ever crossed your mind to know more about Rex Anderson.”
“I.. Actually” Ariel Ann stuttered. She didn’t know Rex very well, she also knew nothing about his past.
“Let’s have a drink together”
No way “I don’t drink”, Ariel Ann countered.
Maria smiled. “I’m not an alcoholic either, I’m driving.”
Ariel Ann smiled awkwardly “Then I’ll call devi… I mean I’ll call Rex Anderson and tell him.
“Couples these days make me jealous. Just tell him you’re going out with Lady Smith ”

Ariel Ann walked to the side and called Rex Anderson. After a few rings, an angry voice came over.
“Ariel Ann, did you have a death wish. Where are you? Hmm?”
“I won’t be coming back today.”
Rex Anderson rose to his feet.
“What are you going to be doing out all night?” Rex Anderson’s voice rose even more. “Who are you meeting with”
“Devil Anderson, I’m going to have a drink with Lady Smith”

Ariel Ann paused; afraid she might have pissed off the devil.
“If you don’t want me to go out with her, I won’t go”
Rex chuckled at the other end of the line. “She won’t hurt you, go on” Ariel blank out as she wondered why he would allow her to go with his mistress and the level of confidence he had in her.
“When the two of you are almost done drinking, let me know, and I’ll send Pius to come get you.”
“Alright, if you have nothing more to say to me, I’ll hang up”
“Okay, enjoy
After hanging up, she turned to Maria with a sweet smile plastered over her face.

Rex Anderson massaged his temples, put the phone in his pocket and his eyes looked at Pius.
“Young Master! What’s the matter?”
Rex chuckled, “prepare the car for me”
“Young Master, I’m afraid you will need to stay indoors tonight” Pius replied.
Rex’s eyes swept over his desk and rested on a flash drive.
“I’m going out tonight as the crippled Rex Anderson, tidy up the studies”
“Please wait a moment”. Pius tidied up the table, turned around and left. Rex Anderson’s lips pressed together into a line.
Once they arrived at the lounge, Ariel Ann found a table near the door.
She sat down; her movements were graceful and polite. Maria was no difference. At a glance, one could tell the ladies are from a respectable family.
“My name is Maria Smith, the managing director of Smith Gold”
“Oh.. My name is Ariel Ann.”
“I have known your name from the moment you married into the Anderson family and entered the family’s business as the vice president. I literally know everything about you. How you were not given an opportunity to work in your mother’s company, your friends, and your ability” Maria Smith smiled while Ariel looked at her perplexed. “My apologies, I didn’t investigate you on purpose. You’re the vice president of the Anderson Company. The business world runs differently from the outside world. There’s no way you can hide your information. People will do it if I don’t do it.
Ariel Ann understands her point. To win the battle in the business world, you need to know the strength and the weakness of your opponent.
“My life is shameful, right?”
Maria chuckled.
“I can say it with my full chest that you rely on yourself to develop to your current state and that’s quite good.”
Maria Smith called the waiter and ordered two glasses of juice. “Marrying Rex Anderson is fate; you two are destined by God. Your life is not shameful. The fact that you can rely on your own ability, developing into your current state is excellent.”

Ariel looked at Maria stunned. She had yet to figure out her relationship with Rex as she seemed to know Rex Anderson so well.
It’s obvious the relationship between these two are not ordinary. She knows a lot about that devil incarnation.
“You mean another of Anderson’s family was the reason behind Rex’s parent death?”
Actually, Fidelis Anderson was actually an illegitimate son of the Old Master of Anderson”

Ariel never thought that such a story existed in the family.
