Leo’s pov
I woke up to airy sound coming from the window, I turned to my Mira, she was sleeping and looking beautiful as always, I peck her on her forehead and rush to the bathroom to dress up, did I remember that my princess is getting initiated to the pack today”. I quickly take a bath and brush my teeth then wore a black t- shirt and my trouser, then headed downstairs because there are a lot to do. I was amaze by what am seeing, everywhere where perfectly decorated and the house looking sparkly clean, this is Ronald work” am sure ,
Getting downstairs I see Ronald giving instructions to the guards and some era they should take charge, I smiled and walk close to him, I pat him on his shoulder which made him flinch and turns back to know who.
“Morning Leo” you are awake?” He asks with a smile on his face, yes Ronald you know there is a lot to do but looks like all have been taken care of, I retorted with a smirk on my face. Thanks Alpha, anything for you, I pat him on the shoulder again and left.
Someone have to welcome the guests, because there are so many of them, I really want to make this party a memorable one for Racheal. Then I saw Mike walk in with his family which made me happy, I went straight to them and walk them in , “welcome my good friend, am happy you came Mike!’ Anything for you Leo, Mike says as we look at each other with a smile on our face.
“Where’s Mira?” Nina ask, well sheeee is, ” Mira!! Nina cut me off, I turn to see my Mira beautifully dressed and coming toward us, we stay there talking and laughing for long , Till Lucas stood up and stop the discussion making the environment and all attention on him. ” I think it’s time for the initiation, hope Racheal his ready?”.
Mira turns to me with a smile on her face, looking at her eyes I see so much confident.
Can you believe she’s finally ready?” she asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
I squeezed her hand, my expression equally tender. “She’s grown so much, Mira. She’s more than ready. She has your strength and my stubbornness. She’ll do us proud.” I say with all hope.
I have been preparing Racheal for this moment for months. The transition into the pack was a significant milestone, one that required not just physical readiness but mental and emotional strength. Mira and i had both been through this process, and I knew the trials and challenges that lay ahead for Racheal . i also knew the sense of belonging and purpose that came from being part of the pack, a bond that went beyond family ties and into the very essence of their beings. How do I know?” Am an Alpha so I went through this process before I became the Alpha.
The main ceremony would be held under the full moon, a time of powerful energy and ancient rituals. I want everything to be perfect for Racheal.
I signal Ronald to Ordered the guard to gather wood for the ceremonial fire. The crisp evening air was filled with the sounds of the forest-rustling leaves, distant animal calls, and the gentle whisper of the wind through the trees. I took a moment to appreciate the beauty of our home, a place where the natural world and their pack existed in harmony.
Then I went to fetch down my two princess, getting to the room I see Racheal already dressed, she was putting on the beautiful garment Mira made for her, for this special day, I lower to her
” is my princess ready?” Yes Dad!! Racheal gave me the cutest smile ever, which made me kiss her on the forehead and Carry her so we can go downstairs for the ceremony, Mira and l look to each others eyes with pride and confident as we head downstairs.
When we got downstairs, all eyes were on us till we get to the final stage m, I had to let Racheal down and held Mira’s hand, Mira looked at me with so much comfort as we entwined each other hands.
I look at Racheal who was standing infront of the whole guest, then Lucas came close to her and lower to her.
“My child are you ready for this”?, Lucas says with so much concern and with a softly voice, yes I am ” Racheal says boldly.
Lucas held Racheal wrist as the left for the initiation, Mira and I followed with the other guest
They made their way to the clearing, where the rest of the pack was gathering, I see Torches flickered in the twilight, casting a warm glow over the assembled group. Then Lucas, stood at the center, his presence commanding and reassuring.
“Welcome, everyone,” Lucas began, his voice resonating through the clearing. “Tonight, we finally meet again to welcome Racheal into the pack. She has shown bravery, strength, and loyalty. She is ready to join us, not just in body, but in spirit.”
The pack members formed a circle around the fire, their expressions solemn and respectful. Racheal stepped forward, her heart pounding. She felt the weight of their gazes, the expectation and the support. She knew she was not alone. I look toward Racheal whose eye were already at Mira and I, she gave me a smirk and it made me strong and turn to Mira to see tears sliding down her cheeks, I wipe those tears off hug and kiss her forehead,
” Thank you Leo I really need this”, Mira says as a smile touches her lips.
Lucas stepped forward, holding a ceremonial dagger with intricate engravings on the blade. He drew a shallow cut on his palm, then handed the dagger to Racheal. “This is a symbol of our bond,” he said. “Our blood, our strength, our unity. Will you accept this bond and pledge yourself to the pack?”
” yes I will”, Racheal says firmly..
Racheal took the dagger, her hand trembling slightly, she turns to me and Mira before She made a similar cut on her own palm.
“Ouch!! Racheal screams which made me growl, Mira already hid her face because she wouldn’t bear seeing Racheal in pain.
Racheal then clasped Lucas’s hand. Their blood mingled, sealing the pact. A cheer rose from the pack, and Racheal felt a warmth spreading through her, a connection to each member of the pack.
As the ceremony continued, the pack celebrated with songs, dances, and stories. The fire crackled and roared, sending sparks into the night sky. Racheal felt a sense of belonging, of purpose, and of love. She knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, she would face them with the strength and support of her pack. And knowing well that I will never leave her alone til the end of the initiation.
After the main ceremony, Racheal was led to a sacred spot deeper in the woods. It was a place only the initiated knew, a place of peace and power. Here, she would undertake the final rite of passage, a personal communion with the spirit of the pack.
Lucas guided her to the center of the grove, where an ancient stone stood, etched with the marks of countless ceremonies. “Kneel here,” he instructed softly. “Close your eyes and let the spirit of the pack speak to you.”
Racheal did as instructed, feeling the cool stone beneath her knees and the stillness of the night around her. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply, feeling the presence of the pack, past and present, surrounding her. A sense of calm washed over her, and in that moment, she felt truly connected to something greater than herself.
Visions came to her, images of the pack’s history, their triumphs and trials, their joys and sorrows. She saw her parents as young initiates, full of hope and determination. She saw the faces of those who had come before, each contributing to the strength and unity of the pack. And she saw herself, standing tall and proud, ready to take her place among them.
