ONE YEAR LATER
It has been a year since everything was back to normal, the Blackwells lived happily with no drama. Mr. Blackwell divorced Susan a year ago and since then, they have never heard from her.
The McCalls left the city too. Max and Nora got married and she was pregnant already.
Dexter was still in New York and he tried his best to avoid the Blackwells. Axel was a billionaire again, his business was back to normal.
He was still enemies with El Diablo but sometimes they do random business together.
The kid’s life were great but there was just one thing missing in their lives and their father’s too.
Their mother. She left a year ago and never came back. The kids missed her so much and cried for a while but they eventually got over it and held onto her promise that she would be back one day.
Axel had tried contacting her but he couldn’t, he searched for her too but it seemed like she just disappeared.
He didn’t tell his kids so they wouldn’t worry about it, they should live their lives happily.

Kendra smiled as she stared back at Daniel, she leaned on her locker and tucked her hair behind her hair shyly.
“So, will you go on a date with me?” He asked and Kendra nodded happily.
“Yes.”
“So, after school?” He asked.
“Daniel!” They suddenly heard Kender yell and they turned to see him at the end of the hallway looking upset.
“Oh my God, he is here. I will see you after school, okay?” He rushed his words.
“Okay.” Kendra replied with a smile. Kender was already running towards them and was about to get to them.
“Bye.” He said and kissed her cheek then ran. Kendra’s cheeks heated up and she giggled.
Kender got to Kendra and he glared at her before running after Daniel.
He caught up with Daniel as she was about to run up the stairs, Kender pinned him to the wall and he groaned.
“Come on man.” Daniel groaned.
“You have no fucking right to ask my sister out on a date.”
“But I like her.”
“You like other girls too, Daniel. You can’t make my sister cry or I will kill you.” Kender threatened and Daniel felt intimidated. It looked like he meant it.
“Fine, I will cancel the date.”
“You have to do it nicely or she will cry. Come up with an excuse.”
“Fine, now let go of me.” Daniel said and Kender rolled his eyes before letting go of him.
“Fuck, you hurt my arm.”
“Sorry.” He chuckled.
“Jeez, when it comes to your sister you are something else.” Daniel said as they both walked up the stairs.
“I am her bodyguard so yes. I will do anything for her.”
“Don’t tell her that though.” He added and Daniel chuckled.

The school was over for the day and everyone headed out, Kendra was excited for her date. She got up from her seat and rushed to Daniel as he was about to walk out of the class. They both had that class together but Kender was having a different one.
“Hey, I am ready.” She said as she got to him and Daniel sighed.
“I’m sorry Kendra. Something came up and I have to go.” Daniel said trying his best to look normal and not hurt her.
“What? What came up?”
“I… I have something to do and… ” He stuttered nervously.
“Did Kender make you do this? He made you cancel?” She asked.
“No, he didn’t do anything. He… ” Daniel trailed off as Kendra walked out of the class.
She pulled out her phone and texted Kender.
“Where are you?” she texted him and he replied immediately.
“Parking lot.” He replied. Kendra took to her heels immediately and Daniel ran after her.
She got to the parking lot and noticed Kender talking to some girls. She ran towards him.
“What the hell Kender?” She yelled and pushed him. He lost balance and fell which made all the girls flinched and got the attention of everyone in the parking lot.
“What? What is wrong with you?” Kender asked as he stood up. Daniel already got to them and he stood behind Kendra.
“You made Daniel cancel our date.” She said and he rolled his eyes.
“Oh, so that is what this is about?” He scoffed.
“Yes, why are you being such a jerk?” She yelled and pushed him again, but he didn’t fall this time.
“You are too young to go on dates. You are only twelve.” Kender replied.
“But you can have girlfriends?” She yelled and pushed him again.
“Hey, Kendra. That’s enough.” Daniel said and grabbed her shoulders which made Kender annoyed.
“Don’t touch her.” Kender snapped at him and moved closer to them but Kendra pushed him again and this time, he fell.
“I am going with Daniel. Dad will pick me up at his place.”
“Oh, no fucking way.” Kender replied. He got on his feet and pulled Kendra to himself. Kendra struggled with him but she couldn’t pull away from him because he held her firmly.
The kids in the parking lot watched. Daniel also watched as he had no idea of what to do, the twins were fighting because of them.
“Let go of me.” Kendra yelled and hit his chest but he ignored the pain he felt.
“You guys, stop fighting.” Daniel said and they both turned to him.
“Stay out of it!” They yelled at him and continued fighting.
Kendra hit him again and he got mad, he raised his hand to hit her back when he felt a strong grip on his hand.
He turned to see the person he was least expecting and his eyes widened in shock. He blinked rapidly, it felt like he was dreaming.
His sister was as shocked as he was, her lips parted slightly.
They both stared at the person thinking they were seeing things or maybe they were.
