Book:A Night With Him Published:2025-2-8

Lily cried all night, she couldn’t sleep. She kept thinking about what could be wrong and what was coming. What life she would live.
Would she ever move on? Would she ever recover from it?
All night, she kept calling the Blackwells but no one answered her calls. Seems like they all knew about what was happening.
Nora, Mr. Blackwell, Max. No one was picking up her calls, and just like last time, she was played again but the Blackwells.
They only needed her children and they had them, she was useless to them. They treated her like trash.
She exhaled heavily in tears as she packed her bags. She was done packing after a while and she slowly walked out of the room with her bags.
She walked down the stairs with them and paused when she got to the living room. Nora and Max were there with Axel.
Lily looked at Nora but she looked away from her immediately. She looked at Max too and he kept staring at her sadly. Axel wasn’t staring at her, his eyes were fixed on the glass in his hand.
Her kids weren’t in the living room, they were still up in their room but she couldn’t see them. Axel locked the door.
“Nora.” Lily called with her voice breaking and Nora took in a deep breath before turning to her.
“Did you know about this?” She asked.
Nora shrugged her shoulders and smiled.
“I guess you were just never meant to be part of us.” Nora replied and Lily chuckled. She nodded and sniffed before looking at Max.
“And Max. Did you know too?” She asked and he sighed. He didn’t give her a response.
Lily stared at them and then nodded before walking towards the door. She was about to get to the door but paused before turning to them again.
“One more thing.” She said and they all looked at her.
“You guys did a nice job. I was played well and it had wonderful results.” She chuckled and sniffed. She paused for a few seconds, trying to fight her tears before speaking up again.
“Axel.” She suddenly called. She stared at the ring she still had on and slowly took it off. She walked to him and stopped a few inches from him.
“Every day and night, I want you to always recall these words.”
“It might take weeks, a month or two, months. It might take years or a decade but I will be back, I will be back to take my kids and make you feel every single pain you and your family caused me. The name you and your family cherish so much will become so useless. You will feel so much pain that you would wish to die, I will ruin you.”
She said with every emotion in her as she stared at him with tears in her eyes. Axel slowly nodded and took a sip out of his drink.
“I’ll be waiting.” He replied with a smirk.
Lily chuckled and walked away from him, she walked out of the house and got into the car waiting for her.
The chauffeur drove out and she took one final look at the mansion, she broke down in the car and cried.
She held her hair and cried so hard, her chest was hurting, it was hurting so much.
She cried for minutes and stopped when she realised they were close to the airport. They were about to take a final turn to the airport when the chauffeur suddenly took another turn.
Lily looked at the chauffeur and wondered where he was heading.
“What is going on? Where are you heading to? The airport is that way.” She said, He ignored her and kept driving.
Lily looked around and noticed there wasn’t any car on the street.
“Hey, where is this place? Where are we going?” She asked in fear.
Out of the blue, the chauffeur pulled over in the middle of the road.
“I’m sorry ma’am. I am just following orders.” He said. Lily drew her brows together as she wondered what he was talking about.
A truck suddenly showed up at the end of the road and was coming towards them at a high speed.
Lily’s eyes widened in shock and she tapped the chauffeur’s shoulder repeatedly.
“Get out of the way! Get out of the way!” She yelled as he hit him.
Before she could blink, he was out of the car and he locked it.
Lily’s eyes widened as she tried to get out.
She looked at the truck, it would hit her at any second. Lily screamed in fear and hit the glass with her hands.
“Hey, hey! Let me out! Open the door, please. Please.” She screamed in fear and hit the glass again as the chauffeur ran away.
“Please, help me!” Lily screamed.
She was about to yell again when the truck hit the car and it went flying in the air, the car spun multiple times on the road before it stopped.
Lily gasped weakly as she tried to get out, she had injuries all over her body, and she couldn’t move. She couldn’t yell for help either.
The car suddenly caught fire and Lily cried silently. She struggled to get out again but she couldn’t. Her eyes slowly closed, and she succumbed to the void, losing all sense of time and space. Immediately, the car exploded.
