A MONTH AGO
Lily walked away from Axel angrily and headed towards the exit of the building. She got out and headed towards the parking lot, she just wanted to go home, she was tired already.
She was about to get to the parking lot when she bumped into Malia, they both stared at each other for a few seconds and Lily turned to leave but Malia hurriedly stood in her way.
“Hold on.” She said with a smile and Lily put on a straight look. She couldn’t be smiling with her, she was clearly evil and would do anything to make sure she was out of the way.
“What? What do you want?” Lily asked and she smiled.
“Mum wants to see you.” She said and Lily drew her brows together. She wondered if she just heard her correctly.
“Huh?”
“I said mum wants to see you. She is inside.” Malia said and Lily rolled her eyes. Why does the night have to be about her mother? This was the same reason she got mad at Axel and now someone else was bringing it up.
She kissed her teeth and was about to walk away but she hurriedly stopped her again.
“What is it?” Lily asked, raising her voice a little which surprised Malia.
“Easy there baby. Mum just wants to talk to you, it would be disrespectful of you not to answer her, no matter what is still your mother.” Malia said and Lily rolled her eyes. Although she might have said it calmly, the hint of mockery in her voice was obvious.
“So, are you coming with me or not?” She asked with a smile and Lily sighed.
A part of her wanted to say no but the other part was curious to know why her mother wanted to speak with her.
She wanted to ignore it but she got so curious and decided to go with her. She walked with Malia as they headed back to the party.
Malia kept trying to bring up a conversation with her but Lily wasn’t paying attention to her.
Since the party was still going on, there were just a few people outside the venue. As they got closer, Malia suddenly stopped walking and Lily turned to her to ask her why.
Before Lily could speak, she felt a strong hand hold her from behind and placed a cloth over her mouth and nose.
She tried to struggle with him but she couldn’t, he was too strong for her. In seconds, Lily passed out and the man lifted her on his shoulder and walked away while Malia trailed behind him.
They got to a part of the house and walked into a room, it was more like a basement. They got into the room and the man dropped Lily on the floor.
Susan and Tania were there. They both had a wide smile on their faces, including Malia.
“Are you sure no one saw you guys bring her here?” Tania asked as she stared at Lily.
“Yes ma’am.” He replied.
“You have done well my daughter.” Her mother to Malia and she smiled.
“Thanks, mum. Everything will work out now right?” Malia asked and Susan smiled.
“Of course, trust the process.” Susan replied.

PRESENT
Malia smiled as she sat gracefully on the couch with a glass of wine in her hand.
She sipped it and hummed a happy song.
Finally, everything was perfect. Very soon she will be carrying Axel’s first child and the heir to the Blackwell empire.
As she did, her mind suddenly drifted to Lily and she started to wonder. Where the hell could she be?
