Everyone watched it spin as they anticipated who it would end on.
It ended on Axel and Lily and everyone looked at them. The head was pointing at Axel so he would be asking the question.
“I don’t want to play.” He said and Lily rolled her eyes.
“Just go with it man, it’s nothing.” Max said and he sighed.
“You are supposed to ask a question.” Nora told him and he looked at Lily.
“Why are we playing this game?” He asked her.
“Because it is fun.” She replied and spun the bottle again. This time it stopped and faced Nora and Malia. Malia will be the one asking the question.
“Who is your best friend?” She asked.
“Lily.” She replied and Lily smiled happily.
“Do you think Lily is keeping secrets from you?” Malia asked and Lily rolled her eyes at her.
“One question at a time.” Lily said and spun the bottle again.
This time it stopped, facing Nora and Axel. Nora was the one asking the question.
“I would like to ask Lily if she wants me to ask any questions.” Nora said and Lydia scoffed.
“That’s cheating.” She said but they ignored her. Nora leaned closer to Lily and she whispered in her ear.
“Ask him if anyone else has worn that shirt.” She whispered and they pulled away from each other, Nora turned to Axel and he raised his brows.
“Has anyone else worn that shirt you have on?” Nora asked and Axel drew his brows together. He looked at Lydia and she hurriedly looked away from him.
“No.” Axel replied and Lily chuckled.
“There is a picture of Lydia wearing that shirt.” Lily said and Axel looked at Lydia.
“I don’t know what you are talking about.” Axel replied and as Lily was about to speak again, Nora stopped her. Taylor looked at Lydia with a questioning look but she ignored him.
“Let’s just go on with the game.” She said and took the bottle from Lily then spun it. It stopped facing Axel again and Max. Axel was the one asking the question.
“Okay, come on.” Max said and Axel glanced at Nora then looked at him.
“How many times have you fucked my sister?” He asked and Max paused. He wasn’t expecting that.
“Why will you ask… ”
“I wasn’t talking to you.” Axel cut Nora off with a glare and she gulped. She looked at Max and gave him a pleading look.
Max sighed and looked at Axel.
“I… I don’t know. Four or five times.” He replied and Nora sighed. Malia chuckled and clapped her hands.
“Oh, I love this game.” She said and hurriedly spun the bottle. Axel clenched his fist as he fought every urge to punch Max in the face.
As Malia spun the bottle, it stopped, facing Max again and Lydia. Max was the one asking the question. He wanted to get back at Axel this time.
“Lydia, did you have sex with Axel the day he came to your house weeks ago?” Max asked and Lily’s heart raced as she hoped she would deny it,
Lydia gulped and glanced at Taylor, then Axel, and then Lily.
“Yes.” She replied and Lily bit her lip, she looked at Axel and he turned away from her. Malia giggled and spun the bottle, it stopped, facing her and Taylor. Taylor wanted to get back at Axel for sleeping with his woman.
“How was sex with Axel? I would love it if you would give your response in detail.” Taylor said and Lily looked at Malia as she smiled happily.
“It was amazing. I can’t deny the fact that I am jealous of his wife, he fucks so well. He dominated me and… ”
“That’s enough.” Nora snapped at her and spun the bottle. It stopped, facing Malia and Nora. Malia was the one asking the question.
“Ask Lily if she is keeping any secrets from you.” Malia said and Nora turned to Lily.
“Are you keeping any secrets from me?” She asked and Lily shook her head.
“No.” She answered with her voice trembling.
Nora turned away from her and spun the bottle.
It stopped, facing Lily and Axel. Lily was the one asking the question.
“Why did you cheat on me?” Lily asked with her voice trembling again. She was fighting the urge to cry, she wasn’t sure if she could hold it any longer.
“Nothing.” Axel replied and she felt her heart shatter, she wasn’t interested in the game anymore, she wanted it all to end.
“Malia is not pregnant.” Lily blurted and Malia’s eyes widened in shock. She didn’t know Lily would have the guts to say it.
“What?” Axel asked.
“She is on her period. She is not pregnant.” Lily said and Lydia chuckled.
“It just keeps getting better and better.”
Lily was about to tell Nora what she was hiding from her but Malia beat her to it.

“Lily and Axel met through a one night stand.” She yelled and everyone gasped except Max and Axel himself.
“Did you know about this?” Nora asked Max and he shrugged.
“And the best part of it is that my mum is Lily’s mother and I and Lily are step sisters.” Malia said and everyone was surprised, including Max. Axel never told him.
“Oh my fucking God.” Lydia said and Lily sighed.
“You kept all these from me?” Nora asked Lily and she didn’t say anything.
“You act all innocent but you do a one-night stand?” Nora asked Lily and Lily had tears in her eyes.
“You are sisters with this bitch?! And you couldn’t tell me?!” Nora yelled and Lily shook her head.
“Don’t yell at her. At least she is not a fuck mate to someone.” Axel said to Nora and she scoffed.
“At least I don’t go about cheating on people.”
She snapped back at him, Lily started to cry and she rushed out of the balcony.
“You are fucking him. What the hell do you think you are doing?” Axel yelled at Nora.
“Don’t yell at her.” Max said and stood up.
“Or what? You don’t tell me how to talk to my sister.” Axel said and stood up too.
“I’m done here.” Nora said and left the balcony too.
Suddenly, Axel and Max got into a fight and Taylor didn’t try to stop them. He was mad at Axel too.
Everyone left the balcony and they stopped fighting when they wanted, everyone walked their separate ways as they were all mad at each other.
Lily sat at the beach and wrapped her arms around herself as she pulled her knees up to her chest.
She was tired of crying and couldn’t cry anymore. She was glad she got everything off her chest but she couldn’t stop feeling bad. Her heart was broken.
She wasn’t happy everyone knew her secret now, it would give them more reasons to mock her. They would laugh at her because her mother hated her so much.
They wouldn’t want to know the full story behind her having a one-night stand, they would judge her immediately.
No one cares she did it because she wanted to save her father, it was all in vain at the end too. Her father died.
She exhaled and ran her hands through her hair, she had a feeling the weekend wouldn’t go well.
As she thought about it all, she realised she owed no one an apology. Including Nora.
Nora was quick to judge her and wouldn’t hear her out.
She suddenly heard footsteps and she turned to see Nora walking towards her, she got her and took a seat next to her on the sand. They both stared at the ocean and didn’t say anything to each other. Lily wasn’t ready to speak, she had no idea of what to say.
“I’m listening.” Nora finally spoke up and Lily turned to her.
“You want to hear me out now?” Lily asked and Nora shrugged.
“I’m listening.” She said again and Lily sighed.
“I had a one night stand with Axel. He was a stranger then and I was desperate to get money. My father was dying and he needed four hundred thousand dollars for surgery. I went to my mum… ” Lily paused and shook her head a little.
“I went to Mrs. McCall for money and she didn’t give me any, I met someone who brought out the one night stand offer and I accepted because the pay was much. I met Axel and he offered me double what I needed if I agreed to marry him. I was desperate so I jumped at the offer, we had sex and I signed a marriage contract.” Lily explained and Nora watched her as she did.
“I got to the hospital the next day and I found out my father was dead but still, I had to get married to Axel because I signed a contract. I didn’t tell you cause I was ashamed and the contract was between me and Axel, no one else could hear about it, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about it.” Lily explained and Nora wrapped her arms around her.
“I’m sorry I said hurtful things to you. I am not mad at you.” She said and placed her head on Lily’s shoulder.
Lily chuckled and sniffed.
“And it is Mrs. McCall’s loss for hating an amazing daughter like you and loving a bitch.” Nora said and Lily laughed.
“Thank you.”
“You have really been through a lot. How do you hide it? Having your mother around you and she hating on you.” Nora asked and Lily shrugged.
“I got used to it.” She replied and they were both silent again.
“So, are you mad at Max?”
“Hell, yeah.” Nora replied and pulled away from him.
“I am so fucking mad at him. Why would he say that? Can’t he just lie?” Nora scoffed and Lily smiled as she wiped the tears on her cheeks.
“I don’t think he wanted you guys’ relationship to be a secret anymore.”
“I know but it feels so wrong. He watched me grow up, he is like family.”
“But he is not.” Lily said and she sighed.
“Well, things just got worse cause Axel won’t let me come around anymore.”
“You are just cousins with Axel, why is he being overprotective?” Lily asked and Nora smiled.
“Because he cares, and I like that.” She replied and Lily sighed.
“He cares and cheats.” She muttered and Nora wrapped her arms around her again.
“He is an asshole for cheating.” Nora said and she chuckled.
“I wonder what explanation he has this time.”
“I just feel like it’s not his fault.” Nora shrugged and Lily raised her brows at her.
“Yes. Honestly, I feel like Lydia is the bitch here. It’s her fault.”
“Blaming it on Lydia doesn’t make me feel better.” Lily shrugged and Nora smiled at her.
“Don’t worry, you will be fine.” Nora assured her and she smiled at her.

Axel slowly walked towards Max as he leaned on Lily’s car. He had a cigarette with him.
Axel got to him and also leaned on the car next to him.
“You’ve got any left?” Axel asked and Max passed him a stick and a lighter. He lit it and took a drag then exhaled.
None of them said anything, they just kept smoking.
“Are you guys dating?” Axel suddenly spoke up.
“No, maybe yes. I am not sure.” He replied and Axel scoffed.
“So what the fuck are you guys doing?”
“I don’t know. All I know is that I care about her so much and I love her.” He replied and Axel scoffed again.
“Love? Tch.”
“Come on, don’t you love Lily?”
“Love?” Axel asked.
“Yeah. Can’t you see how obsessed you are with her?”
“This isn’t about me and Lily. It is about you and my sister.” Axel said and Max sighed.
“We kept it a secret because we know how you will act about it and how awkward it might be. But I love your sister so much and I want to be there for her, the same way you are always there for Lily.”
“Can you stop bringing up Lily?”
“You know, I think you should stop cheating on her.” Max said and Axel glared at him.
“I didn’t cheat on her, I didn’t sleep with Lydia.”
