“Nora, are you sure about this?” Lily asked for the umpteenth time as Nora brushed down her hair.
“Ugh, come on. Yes, I am sure. You have asked me like a million times already.” Nora replied and she sighed as she stared at herself in the mirror. They were both dressed in a short revealing gown.
“It’s just that Axel always tells me to always inform him about my whereabouts.”
“And that is why we are going to be quick about it. He hasn’t checked up on you all day, right? It is almost 10:00 pm which means he is busy and not around.” Nora explained again and Lily breathed out nervously before nodding her head.
“Trust me, it will be fine. All we have to do is leave for the club now and come back by midnight or before midnight.”
“Okay.” Lily replied.
“Now smile.” She said and Lily slowly smiled.
“Great, what’s the worst that can happen?” Nora asked as Lily stood up.
“We can get kidnapped again, Nora. That is the worst that can happen.” Lily replied and Nora rolled her eyes.
“We can’t. It is not my first time in Atlanta.” She said and walked towards the bed, she picked up the two long coats on it and walked back to Lily.
“Here you go.” She muttered and handed one to Lily.
“Where did you get them from?” Lily asked.
“I brought them along.” Nora replied and she chuckled.
“You came prepared.”
“Yes.” Nora replied and put it on.
“A quick question, why do we need coats?” Lily asked and Nora took hers from her and helped her put it on.
“Axel would have instructed the guards to follow us to wherever we are going so we would lie about where we are heading to avoid the guards and also, our dresses are too revealing.” Nora explained and Lily nodded with a smile.
“Ready?”
“Yes.” She replied and Nora grabbed their purses and handed Lily hers. They both walked out of the suite.
In minutes, they were already out of the hotel. Axel’s guards were in front of the hotel, as they noticed Lily and Nora, they walked to them and bowed.
“Good evening ma’am.” One of the guards greeted them.
“Yeah, evening. Can I have one of the car keys?” Nora asked.
“You don’t have to drive yourself, ma’am, we will… ”
“We are just going to a nearby park, it’s nothing serious. Let me have one of the keys.”
“But ma’am… ”
“Do I need to call my husband and tell him you are defying our orders?” Lily suddenly spoke up and all the guards exchanged looks.
“Of course not ma’am, I am sorry.” The guard apologized and handed a car key to Nora.
Nora pressed the button on it and one of the cars beeped, she smiled and walked towards it with Lily.
They got into the car, she ignited it, and drove off.
Nora laughed happily and Lily laughed too.
“Lily, I was not expecting that.” Nora said and she shrugged in response.
“Me neither.”
After spending minutes chatting and driving, they finally arrived at the club. Club Switch.
Nora parked the car and turned to Lily.
“Take off the coat.” She said and Lily took it off.
“Ready?” Nora asked but Lily didn’t give her a response.
“Lily?” Nora called and she sighed.
“I feel so bad I am about to lie to Axel.” She said and Nora groaned.
“It is not lying if he doesn’t know about it.”
“I know.” She muttered and sighed. Nora could read her expression, she could tell Lily was scared of getting into trouble.
“Okay. How about this? If we get caught, I will take all the blame.” Nora suggested and Lily shook her head.
“You don’t have to, we won’t get caught too. Let’s go have fun.” Lily said with a smile and Nora cheered.
“That’s the spirit. Let’s go.”
They both walked out of the car and walked towards the entrance. It wasn’t just a random club, it was more like a VIP club. Only people of high ranks were allowed into the place.
Just the strippers and other employees of the club were commoners.
They got to the entrance and Nora turned on her phone and showed one of the security a QR code, it was scanned and the man paved the way for them to go in.
“What was that?” Lily asked.
“Just our pass.” Nora replied.
They got fully into the room and Nora danced to the music as they got in.
Although it wasn’t just a regular club, it was still a little bit crowded.
Lily kept looking around the place, it had another floor and it looked like another thing was going on there.
“Come on, let’s get drinks and get high.” Nora said and held Lily’s hand, she pulled her with her to the bar in the room.
“What would you sexy ladies like to have?” The man behind the counter asked.
“We will just take a few shots.” Nora answered and Lily turned to her.
“I don’t think I should drink.” She said to Nora.
“You are going to drink.” Nora replied and Lily sighed.
She looked around the room again and saw different people having fun, everyone was dancing happily and enjoying themselves.
Out of the blue, Lily wanted to feel that way. She wanted to feel free and have fun, that feeling everyone else in the room had, she wanted to feel it too.
She suddenly smiled and turned to Nora.
“Okay, let’s drink and get high.” She said and Nora became excited. The man served them the shots and they both gulped it immediately.
Lily coughed and shut her eyes as she felt it burn her throat.
“Are you good?” Nora asked and she nodded and opened her eyes.
“Yes, another one.” Lily said to the man and Nora chuckled. The man poured another one for them and they gulped it again. This time, Lily didn’t cough but it still felt the burn and hotness.
She didn’t like how it tasted, but she wanted more. The desperation to feel free was a motivation for her.
As the man poured another drink for them, a random guy suddenly walked to the counter.
“Hey, ladies.” He called with a smile and they smiled back at him.
“Hey.” Lily muttered.
“Care for some?” He asked and lifted a little bag in the air. It contained pills.
“Is that molly?” Nora asked.
“Yeah, and it is a good one.” The guy replied with a smile and Lily turned to Nora confused.
“What is a molly?” She asked.
“It’s like a drug but it doesn’t do the work of a normal drug. It makes a person high and happy.” Nora explained and Lily’s face lit up.
“Really?” She asked and Nora nodded. Lily turned to the guy and smiled at him.
“I want one.” She said and the guy handed her one, before Nora could stop her, Lily had already taken the pill.
“Oh my God.” Nora muttered.
“Axel is going to murder me.” She said and Lily giggled.
“How about you?” The guy asked Nora and she stared at Lily who was giggling.
“You know what? Fuck it.” She replied and took the pill from the guy and also used it.
“Yayy.” Lily cheered and Nora chuckled.
“This is going to be a really long night.”
