THE NEXT DAY
MORNING
Lily slowly opened her eyes and let out a yawn, she was about to sit up when she noticed a strong arm around her. She paused and turned to see Axel sleeping next to her.
Confused, she drew her eyebrows together and stared at him. She wondered what he was doing in her bed.
She could recall coming home from the party last night while everyone was still there, when did Axel get home? Why is he in her bed? And why is he holding her so close? Isn’t he mad at her anymore? Is this one of his tricks?
Lily had a lot of questions flooding into her head as she watched him, he was still asleep and didn’t look like he was going to wake up anytime soon.
Lily was too curious to wait till he woke up to get an answer to her question, so she decided to wake him up and get her answers.
“Axel.” She called and tapped his shoulder, he groaned but didn’t open his eyes.
“Axel.”
“What? What do you want?” He asked without opening his eyes.
“What are you doing in my bed?” Lily asked and his eyes snapped open immediately, he pulled away from her and Lily sat up and he also did.
“I… I… ” He stuttered.
“You what?” Lily asked, staring at him as he scratched his neck.
“When I got back, a maid informed me you were burning up so I came to check up on you. I guess I must have slept off while waiting for you to get better.” He lied but Lily believed him.
“Really? I am sick?” She asked and touched her forehead.
“You are a lot better now.” He said and she sighed in relief. No one said anything to each other again, Axel just kept his head low a little with his eyes shut.
Lily watched him and admired the way he looked, his morning face. His hair was scattered and had fallen to his face a little, it gave him a different kind of vibe.
“Hmm, I will leave now.” He said and stood up. Lily decided to ask him if he wasn’t mad at her anymore and would be avoiding her.
“Axel.”
“Hmm.” He replied and turned to her.
“Are you still mad at me for snapping at you?” She asked and he shook his head in response.
“I’m not.” He replied and she smiled. He turned to leave again but paused when he recalled something, again, he turned to her.
“Where were you last night before you left the party? Nora was searching everywhere for you.” He asked and Lily’s heart skipped a beat as she recalled what happened between her and Max.
“Alone. In the garden.” She hurriedly responded and Axel lowered his eyebrows.
“Are you lying?” He asked.
“Where else will I be?” She asked back and Axel decided to not question her further.
“Okay then.” He replied simply and walked out.
Lily let out a breath she didn’t realise she was holding. She started to imagine what Axel would do if he found out what happened between her and his best friend. She wondered if he would get mad or not.
He doesn’t care about her anyway, he shouldn’t get mad about it. Just to be on the safer side, it would be better if he had no idea at all.
Lily stood up and made her way into the bathroom. She took a long bath and got dressed in tight shorts and an oversized shirt when she was done.
She made her way out of her room and down the stairs, she walked into the dining room and met Axel there already having breakfast.
She was surprised to see him, she thought he would have left for work already. He was dressed in casual wear which meant he wouldn’t be going to work for the day.
Lily slowly took a seat next to him and he turned to her.
Lily stared at the meals on the table and realised she wasn’t a fan of most of them, she finally decided to go with the sandwiches and she picked one.
She started to eat and at the same time, fought the urge to glance at Axel despite feeling his eyes on her.
She continued eating and was almost getting filled when Axel eventually spoke up.
“Come here, Lily.” He ordered and she slowly stood up, she moved closer to him and he pulled her to sit on his lap.
Lily was shy because of what she was wearing, it was too low and her thighs were visible. Also because the maids were in the room.
She bowed her head and played with her fingers shyly, Axel placed a hand on her thigh and creased it.
“Are you okay?” Axel asked and she nodded in response.
“Look at me and respond to my question.” He ordered and she looked up and looked at him.
“I’m fine, Axel.” She muttered and he nodded. He noticed she wasn’t so comfortable and he glanced at the maids in the room who tried their best to keep their heads bowed and not stare.
“Should they leave?” Axel asked and Lily hurriedly nodded. Axel waved his hand at them and they bowed before walking away.
She sighed in relief and turned to Axel. He stared at her eyes and she stared back at him, she held his gaze and Axel found the stare interesting.
His eyes moved to her lips before staring at her eyes again.
“Kiss me, Lily.” He ordered and Lily broke the stare a little. She looked so surprised.
“W… wh… why?” She stuttered and glanced at his lips before looking up at him again.
“Because you are my wife and I want you to.” He replied and moved his other free hand to her butt while his other hand kept creasing her thighs.
Lily liked the way he ran his hands on her body, she loved and enjoyed it.
“I… I don’t know how to kiss someone.” She stuttered and Axel nodded.
“I know. Just do anything, I will guide you.” He replied and Lily held her hands together like a kid and shut her eyes.
Axel watched her as she leaned closer to him, they were inches apart and he still watched her.
He finally closed his eyes when he felt her lips on his, they were so soft. She pulled away when Axel was about to start enjoying it.
“Again. This time, suck on any part of my lips you want and free your hands. You can’t touch me, but don’t hold them together.” Axel ordered and she nodded in response, she leaned closer to him again and kissed him.
To make things easier for her, Axel opened his mouth a little, she did exactly like Axel said and got better a little but she was too slow for Axel.
He held her butt and took over the kiss, Lily gasped and kissed him back in the best way she could do.
Axel pulled away from the kiss and she smiled at him a little.
“Did I do well?” She asked.
“Yes, my Lily.” He replied and Lily’s cheeks heated up. He just called her his Lily.
“Come on, tell me something that will excite me.” He said and she bit her lips as she thought of something.
“Anything?” She asked.
“Yes, anything.” Axel replied and she suddenly smiled.
“I am not putting on any underwear underneath my dress.” She said and Axel chuckled. He was surprised by her response, he wasn’t expecting that.
He expected something childish from her as usual.
“Why aren’t you putting on any underwear?” He asked and she shrugged her shoulders.
“I just want to be comfortable.” She replied and Axel nodded. Without a warning, he put his hand underneath Lily’s shirt and grabbed her boobs, she gasped and Axel gave her a questioning look.
“What is it? What’s wrong?” He asked and she shook her head in response. Her eyes moved to his lips and she thought of kissing him again. She liked the last one and she wanted to continue to see how perfect she could get.
“Can I kiss you again?” She asked.
“Why not?” Axel asked back. She smiled and leaned in and kissed him, Axel’s hand was still on her boobs and he played with it.
She felt ticklish and she giggled and pulled away from the kiss.
“Don’t do that.” She laughed and held his hand on her boobs, Axel watched as she laughed and he realised how peaceful he felt within himself.
“You are my wife.” He suddenly said and Lily giggled and nodded.
“Yes, I am.” She replied and he kissed her lips again. But it was a quick one and he pulled away.
“I am married to a very beautiful lady.” Axel said and she raised her brows.
“Really? I… I am beautiful?” She asked and he nodded in response. She always found Axel’s compliments weird but loved every single one of them.
He doesn’t compliment her when she dresses up in fancy wear or a luxury outfit, just when she is dressed casually.
“You have a beautiful body.” He added and squeezed her boobs softly which made her laugh again, she placed her head on his chest and laughed happily.
Axel grinned as her laughter sounded soothing to his ears. He knew he had finally found something else to prioritise.
It is not just his business and reputation anymore.
It’s now, his business, his reputation, and Lily.
His Lily.
